Hello all! I’m sorry I’ve been neglecting my FA so badly. I had a long creative dry spell and then I was mostly working on 3D printing my voxel partial. I’m going to be posting here again though and am still open for 2D commissions, so if there’s anything you’d like me to make let me know!

Alright, after a long time struggling with various factors, I'm diving back in to commissions. Best of all, my amazing partner got me a new 3D printer for giftsmas so now I can start making custom miniatures again! I'm super excited to get back to work on them. The 3D printer (for the moment at least, knock-on-wood) is working again! For the first time in over half a year I have all the pieces for one of my 3D minis printed and am In the process of assembling it. Once I get caught up with my back lot they’ll be back up for sale again!

Also, expect an announcement of open commissions soon!

So, I’m still struggling with the 3D printer, but I’ve decided I’m not going to let it keep me from doing my digital art any more. So commissions are officially back open!

I’m still going to be plugging away at the 3D printer and hopefully should be back to making minis again soon.

In other news, I’ll be at Indy Fur Con this weekend! I’ll be walking around in my papercraft head so if you see me say hi!

Oof. Where to begin.

So MFF was amazing, but I had to leave early due to a family emergency. Thankfully things worked out, but immediately after that my 3D printer broke. Every time I think I have a handle on how to get printing again, something else goes wrong. I'm still chugging along and have every intention of getting back to the 3D mini printing, but after all this time I've learned promising deadlines is just setting myself up for disappointment.

I have been having so much fun working on these 3D-printed voxel minis. I hope y'all have been enjoying them.

I've filled all the slots for my first run of custom minis, but I will for sure be doing more in the future. More on that later.

Right now I'm working on the ones I've got and some un-customized generic minis that I can mass produce and sell for cheaper. There's going to be a cat, a wolf/husky, a fox, a dragon, and maybe a dog if I can decide on a breed.

I'm going to be at iFC this year and am *hoping* to get a table in the Dealer's Den. If so I'll have the generic minis for sale and a sign up sheet for custom minis. Keep your fingers crossed for me! If I don't get the table, custom minis will be opened back up after the convention.

Also, I'm going to try to get back to making some pixel art now and again. EmmettError bought an animation recently and it reminded me how much I miss doing it.

I’ve had a few delays with the 3D prints. I have several minis designed and am printing all parts of each color at once. For some reason the green filament was giving me trouble again which cost me more time than I’d like. BUT I’m back on schedule and this round should be done sooner rather than later!

My 3D printer is here! I've been doing some small test prints, slowly learning the ropes. There's been some trial and error, but I'm definitely learning from each mistake.

Simultaneously, I'm learning 3D modeling software which is going pretty well. I still need to find one that's a good fit for me so if any one has any recommendations, it would be appreciated.

Overall I'm very excited and can't wait to start designing and making stuff!

I just wanted to check in and let you all know that I'm doing a lot better (knock on wood). They figured out my main issue, then boyfriend I had a Covid scare and we had to quarantine. At the moment we're both doing much better and I'm cautiously optimistic.

I'm actually feeling well enough that I'm actually going to open up my YCHs again! Or at least, start actively promoting them again lol

Something has had me ridiculously fatigued for weeks and the doctors are still trying to figure out what it is (although all Covid tests have come back negative). I'm still trying to work through my queue when I can but it's been slow going. Hopefully I'll be back up to speed sooner rather than later.

Sorry for the radio silence lately. I've been sick for a while and currently under quarantine. The covid test came back negative but with my symptoms, and since false negatives are very possible, my doctor told me to quarantine anyway. I definitely feel like I've been doing a little better every day so hopefully I'll be back to full productivity sooner rather than later.

The response has been so good that I'm currently working on a deer head pattern with easy to follow instructions. I'm not entirely sure when it will be available but I'm going to get it out ASAP.

Obviously I'm still also working on projects in my queue and will still be taking orders for Minecraft skins and my current animated YCH. General commissions though will probably be restricted for the time being. If it's something small and simple I should still be able to do it, but I can't in good conscience take on any new complicated projects right now, as it would probably be a much longer than normal wait time.

I apologize that work has slowed down a bit lately. My old computer has started shutting down instead of just going to sleep and in doing so started corrupting any files left open. After a few delays I have a new computer and am in the process of transferring everything over. Should be back up to speed soon!

The idea is you’d get a PDF to print, cut out, and assemble which you then own and can use to reprint any or all of it should it get damaged.

Inspired by one of my favorite podcasts, I will be making custom pixel art for the first 12 people to donate at least $25 supporting the protesters speaking out against police brutality. I may end up opening it up to more people depending on how fast I get through the first 12.

I've been making pixel art for a WHILE now, and at long last I've started to learn how to make actual video games. At my friend Fox's suggestion, I got SmileBasic4 for the Switch which lets you code games in Basic for the Switch itself. The tutorials are a bit...light so I've been having to look up a lot of things and refer to some YouTube videos, but I've been making progress much faster than I expected.

Right now I'm still just learning the basics using SmileBasic4's default sprites/sound effects/etc., but the end goal is to eventually make a furry game with my own sprites and whatnot. So I have been pretty under the weather the last few weeks, although the last several days I've been feeling better. As far as anyone can tell it was some sort of sinus thing, but I've been holed up in the house anyway just to be safe. Now that I'm feeling better I plan on getting things back on track shortly.
