Commissions Price Tab Update (':
Posted 7 years agoI haven't kept up with it at all and had a ton of old examples that I don't even offer at the moment, lmao.
SO my commissions price tab might seem a little hectic as I'm deleting and adding commission types and gauging prices for new things ??
Like every other artist I'm never sure how to price my art because I don't want to overprice don't want to sell myself short either aha ;;
I'm planning on offering headshots/busts tonight or tomorrow.
I ALSO am going to try doing full detail expressions sheets (I've done a couple already) and maybe even telegram emote packs ??

I'm mostly just trying to make sure they're seen because they're just sitting around with me and maybe someone can give them a home

What's up folks it's been a BAD week (':
Posted 7 years agoSo, as I've said in what feels like the last few journals, I've been hella sick on and off again for the last 2 months (as seems to be the case with everyone honestly ;;). The second I feel as if I may be shaking it, I either get stuffy, hellacious sinus headaches and start hacking real bad again OR GET THE STOMACH FLU WHICH IVE HAD TWICE NOW IN THE LAST FULL MONTH WTF.
Aside from that, I've still been going to work when I can (I called in a day last week and still feel guilty about it lmao) because I NEED the money and really can't afford to be sick. Work this week has been garbage and just dealing with one ordeal after another with shitty customers and the shitty computer and with being sick and stressed it's doing my head in. I've been much too exhausted to even be sociable for short periods of time.
Thankfully, I only have one commission in queue currently, but I still feel the need to apologize for the lack of progress as of late as I'm usually much more punctual with my turn-around ;; I have been told to take my time, but I always feel the need to update when I'm working slowly. (Shout-out to
for being one of the absolute sweetest commissioners around.)
AND THEN, ON TOP OF IT ALL.
We're getting rain, then sleet and ice, then snow from midnight to around noon tomorrow ('8
My coworker already told me that if I can't make it in that it's fine (the ONLY road in and out of this town gets suchhh bad snow drifts) but I'm already worried about the money I'll lose if I do have to call in tomorrow hhhhhhhhhh NEAT.
I hate winter.
BUT I hope you've all had a much better week than I have and if not I hope it gets better! <3
I'm going to go back into isolation hell for a bit, try and take care of myself and hope to gods I don't get iced/snowed in thru-out the next 12 hours.
And to anyone else dealing with the winter front, stay safe and warm!!! If it gets too bad, don't go anywhere unless you absolutely need to!

It's my Bday! - Happy New year!
Posted 7 years agoHey guys!! Just wanted to say sorry for the lack of activity over the holidays and that here this week I'll be starting to work more consistently again! I've been working on commissions here and there when I've been able to, but I'm definitely gonna take today off for personal work since it's my birthday! But expect updates and such around Wednesday. ~

I hope everyone had a good holiday season! I know they can be tough. But I wish you all a wonderful year ahead filled with triumph and success in all aspects of your lives! I want to have good feelings about this year. My resolution is actually going to be to draw more. I want to broaden my skills and hone others, maybe even dabble in things I've not had the chance to! I also want to try eating a bit healthier and take better care of myself physically, mentally and emotionally!

Same with the boyfriendo and basically everyone else lmao that winter flu/cold is hittin everyone
hopefully gonna curl up tonight with some hot toddy's and some Law and Order SVU
But I hope you all had a wonderful holiday!! And are having a wonderful holiday season! I'm not actually doing much this year (on account of being broke, having to replace tires and being down with the sickness) but hopefully I can get some of this sorted to at least buy some xmas presents ;;

got me wanting to make my stuff pretty ;;
I'll be leaving tomorrow night for GA and I'm sooo excited. I'll be gone until next Monday.
There'll probably be radio silence until I get back!

Stepping back from Wacom? - Tablet Suggestions??

for awhile now I've been thinking about getting a tablet brand different than Wacom and specifically, I've been looking at Ugee. I've also looked at Huion, but I've been more interested in Ugee.
I was wondering if you guys had had experience with either or even all 3?? And if so could you let me know what you thought?
I'm still drawing with a wacom splash (started on a bamboo) so honestly almost any upgrade will be a good one lmao I was looking at the Ugee m708 specifically because it's cheap, the reviews are good and is compared to an intuos 5 which is BANANAS for the price and for everything I've seen for it, but I'd still like input if anyone has any (':
