I have artfully logjammed myself, not sure if pun is applicable in this case, but there you go.
In my 'done' pile is a completed trade, while in my 'in progress' pile is probably close to a dozen daily doodles that only need a bit of digital touch-up, while 'current project' is a trade and a commission.
I haven't posted the completed trade, because more than a few of the not-quite-daily-doodles are in the form of a few comic pages that lead up to the trade pic. I'm not working on getting those finished and posted because I'm working on a commission. The commission is taking longer than it should because I'm working seven days a week for the last couple (and next couple) weeks and only get a bit of time to work on it when I do get on the comp with time to art. The daily doodles are still stacking up because the SFW ones can be worked on during slow times at work, but are just added to the 'to-do' folder pile of stuff to be cleaned/finished before posting... *deepbreath*
TLDR: Still arting, still working on my 2022 ArtPush, not a lot in my 'I owe' pile but it's slow going and for that I apologize.

Goblin Brain: Yep, we should totally do that, also remember, Gimp isn't registering pressure sensitivity, also, massive lag in tracking the pen, so inking is taking more time and effort than it should.
Me: Hmmm, I suppose I could dust off photoshop, why am I not using that anyway?
GB: Probably nothing to do with having to learn a completely new interface, you neanderthal. You could always try to update Gimp and see if that fixes the issue. I mean, you haven't updated it in eight years, how much could they have changed?

GB: Maybe.

Posted 6 years ago So somewhere in the final scramble of moving madness I apparently put the rest of the pics in a sketchpad for 'safekeeping' and promptly forgotten. I figured they would turn up eventually (that or I'd left them in another state and they were gone forever).
So after a minor delay, art backlog/resolution can continue.
At the top of the queue is Dogmom, Goatmom and Lord Dominator, with monster girls and a few pinups that may or may not make it past sketch cleanup stage. And that should keep me occupied through the end of the year.
But because I'm a glutton for punishment and a fiend for inspiration: Ask my characters!
While there's things you can ask me/Mr. H I figure more fun would be had asking my gals, Candi, Ash, Porcelain and China, Lalan, Rhonda and Aiyla. Their reffs are in the top of the journal if you aren't familiar with them. Seriously. Want them to answer something, backstory, kinks, fun details, opinions?

Currently my schedule allows me a bit of on-the-job idle time I've been filling with (mostly) face and expression studies. Since I'm trying to use the weekends to clean up my current backlog for posting, I thought this might be a bit of a fun exercise.

Posted 6 years ago I decided to switch it up a bit, having a few pics out and rolling before I do the 'I'm back and arting' announcement.
For those in the dark as to what's been going on with my situation, I've been living in a hotel room while waiting for a transfer to go through at work. It was supposed to be for a couple weeks while they got a replacement or three to cover my postings... and instead was 'delayed' for four months. It took a bit of poking up the ladder, but finally (finally) things got moving and so did I.
I got my squiggly posterior up to Wisconsin Oct 1st, and with a short return trip for my bike, I'm fairly settled in.
As for the working:
This should be the last week of 'Death by Powerpoint' for the new post, then on to the fun stuff next week, and on-site the following week.
On to the arting:
There's oodles of traditional inks and sketches in my 'mostly-done' queue in need of digital touch-up before posting. If I'm not feeling particularly creative, there's plenty of coloring and cleanup I can still do.

The move went about as well as could be expected given the circumstances. My in-company transfer though, not so much...
I've essentially been living in a hotel room since the end of May. Mind you, I already have the apartment up in Wisconsin with all my stuff, and roommates waiting for me to get my squiggly butt up there and everything.
Now, though my comp and most all of my arting stuff is in another state, I havent been idle artistically. I still have sketchbooks and the old standby, typing paper sheets (cheapie materials for dayyyysssss). Pencil sketches and inks, I'm even doing a bit of experimenting with charcoal again. Done-for-now pile includes (but not limited to) sketches, pinups, fanart, prints, landscapes and memes. I have so many pieces ready for digital touch-up and posting to give myself a queue to start posting art on something resembling a regular basis again.
In other semi-related news, I'll be dusting off a couple of old art accounts, canning one or two, and likely setting up a twitter for a lot of the sketchy stuff that just doesn't get posted.
TLDR: Work transfer delayed to the point I'm seriously debating quitting and getting a new job. Heading in Monday morning to be pesky in person rather than over the phone. Have been sketching weird things and also boobs, will be posting again soon.

I have so many pieces ready for digital touch-up and posting to give myself a queue to start posting art on something resembling a regular basis again.
In other semi-related news, I'll be dusting off a couple of old art accounts, canning one or two, and likely setting up a twitter for a lot of the sketchy stuff that just doesn't get posted.
TLDR: Work transfer delayed to the point I'm seriously debating quitting and getting a new job. Heading in Monday morning to be pesky in person rather than over the phone. Have been sketching weird things and also boobs, will be posting again soon.

Anyway...
Am moving shortly-ish and don't want any owed artings on my part to be unavoidably delayed. Although the only remaining outgoing trade I was waiting on a reff sheet so I could finish...
But yeah, moving, packing up arting supplies and soon comp and tablet. Should be settled and arting/posting in June.
