Random thought of the day 10/6/25
Posted a month agoI think Totally Spies would work as a serious spy movie. All you'd have to do is dial down the characters' personalities a bit and cut out the slapstick and you'd end up with something that could stand with Bond and Mission Impossible.
BTW, live-action Totally Spies already exists. It's called Charlie's Angles.

A theory for all you Bat-fans.
Posted a month agoYou know how Batman always seems to have exactly what he needs in his Utility belt? I had an idea. What if his utility belt is modular: he has a stockpile of pouches that he can switch out on the fly depending on the situation.
THAT'S NOT MY IDEA!!!
Here's the kicker: what if _the seatbelt in the Batmobile (Batwing, etc.) can change the pouches automatically?_ Batman could just tell the computer what he thinks he'll need and then mechanisms in the seatbelt switch the pouches for ones in an onboard stockpile.

Posted 4 months agoThat girl is NOT Pauline.
Or rather, she's not the ORIGNAL Pauline. As I see it, there's only two ways Donkey Kong: Bananza can be reconciled with the original Donkey Kong lore: if that girl IS Pauline and she gets a mindwipe at the end of the story, OR if she's NOT the original Pauline, but another character with the same name, possibly the daughter or granddaughter of the original Pauline.
There's actually some evidence to support this latter idea: Cranky Kong. Cranky has been confirmed to appear in Bananza, and the first DKC game established that HE is the original Donkey Kong while 'DK' is his grandson. So, baring time shenanigans, I believe the Pauline in Bananza is a different Pauline than the original. We'll just have to wait to find out.

Things that make you shake your head.

Random thought of the day
Posted 5 months agoI bet if you surveyed a bunch of trans-phobic people, at least 70% of them would believe two things:
1) Bruce Wayne is Batman's true identity.
2) Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker are the same person.

I just had a thought about the Furry Community
Posted 5 months agoLet's call this a hypothesis.
I hypothesize that every person who identifies as a Furry has at some point in their life felt inadequate. Someone has told them, through words or action, that they are not good enough, that they are deficient in some way. And, for however brief a moment, that person believed it. That's why people try to make a 'better' version of themselves, their fursona. To try to silence the doubts that these comments plant.
And I think that is why the Furry Community is one of the kindest, most accepting groups in the world. Every person in this community has felt that inadequacy, and no one wants others to feel that. That's why they accept everyone. Everyone gets a chance to be their better selves. Everyone gets the support to be themselves. And it's also why there are few more fervent defenders of the wronged than Furries. They've felt the ridicule and they won't let others suffer from it if they can help it. Furries are accepting of everybody...except dicks. If you're a dick, and you try to be dickish around Furries, you better have an escape route prepped, because you will not survive the wrath of the Community.

This is the universe I want to live in.
Posted 7 months agoI actually wrote something!
Posted 7 months agoIt's not much. Just a little blurb I put in the comments of this pic: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/60232154/ Sometimes you get inspired and you just HAVE to write it down before it disappears. Check it out if you feel like it. This is the original artist's post of the image, so go ahead and drop by the commissioner's page, too.

y2hecateJust wanted to put this thought out there. (18+)
Posted 9 months agoI've been thinking every once in a while about the concept of 'sex friends:' platonic friends that you have sexual encounters with. Of course, in real life, this concept is completely impractical, with all the potential consequences and deep emotions connected with sex, but it's a fun idea to think about. It would be great to have a circle of acquaintances that all care deeply about each other and express this through physical intimacy (and that's what Hentairo and his followers basically are), but I'm talking about just regular, everyday friends that just see sex as 'something to do,' like watching a movie or going skateboarding or whatever.
So I was thinking, if it COULD work, there would only really be one way: it would have to be purely selfish sex. Both parties would have to go in seeking purely their own pleasure. They would have no concern for the other's enjoyment, only in taking what they can for themselves. It would be like adolescent roughhousing, but with bodily fluids. It would have to be an emotionally empty experience. Just two people using each other as onaholes.
I don't know about you, but I like Hentairo's way better. What are your thoughts?

Artist highlight
Posted 9 months agoI don't normally do this sort of thing, but I just felt the need to call out this artist. I discovered him a couple months ago and he doesn't get NEAR the attention he deserves.
keremgo does absolutely BEAUTIFUL dark and erotic artwork, but he has less than 2000 views after being here a year. Please go check out his gallery and spread the word.

Posted 9 months agoI just want to put up a point for friendly discussion. Share this with others if you want to expand the conversation.
Is 'Thicc' a degree of 'fat,' a level before 'fat,' or a separate category of body type altogether?
I would like to hear people's views on this subject.

Posted 10 months agoJust thought I'd see if anyone could figure out this TV show from an over-serious description.
'The last survivors of an ancient magical civilization use a powerful magic potion to defend a medieval kingdom against an exiled noble and his army of hulking brutes.'
Spread it around if you can't figure it out.

A Quick Question for any British Potterheads who watch me...
Posted 11 months agoSomething occurred to me randomly today and after confirming my theory, I got to wondering...
How long did it take you to realize that Dumbledore's phoenix is named after Guy Fawkes?
I theorize that most of you Brits probably realized it immediately (especially given Fawkes' intro scene), but it's a connection that probably took a while for foreigners like.

RIP Akira Toriyama
Posted a year agoThey just announced a few hours ago that Akira Toriyama has passed away at 68. His works have been a part of all of our lives and I bet a good chunk of us wouldn't even be on this site if it weren't for him. May the Kais welcome him to Other World.

Posted a year agoSo I'm watching the second episode of the new anime on Toonami, Ninja Kamui, and a thought bullied it's way into my head.

A Thought Eggcercise
Posted 2 years agoSo I was commenting on an oviposition pic a few minutes ago and something occurred to me to wonder. As mammals, we humans give live birth, so we don't have to deal with eggs. But what if we did? Or what if there were some intelligent egg-laying species? What would they do with the eggs they laid, specifically unfertilized eggs? Would they treat them with reverence for their missed life potential, would they treat unfertilized eggs like a waste product and dispose of them out-of-hand, would they take a practical view and use them like we use eggs in real life? What are your opinions?
The dark side you forget.
Posted 2 years agoSo I just watched Steamboat Willy on Vailskibum's YouTube channel. He's probably one of hundreds of Youtubers who've posted it today just because they can. It's the first time that I've seen it in probably 20+ years, so I'm not surprised that there's parts I didn't remember, but it's interesting to see what lands differently after how I've changed over time.
In particular, there's a couple moments near the end that indicate that Mickey has a bit of a darker side than his usually squeaky-clean self shows. First off, there's the bit where he accompanies 'Turkey in the Straw' by pulling a cat's tail. He then proceeds to swing the cat around by said tail and eventually flings him off the boat, all with a surprisingly sadistic look on his face. (Of other note, this happens to be the least well synchronized part of the audio in the whole short). Then there's the part that I might still not have taken particular note of if I hadn't become a member of THIS community: Mickey picks up a nursing sow and plays (music) with her teats in front of her piglets! Typical 30's cartoon zaniness, but disturbingly twisted from some other perspectives. It's the kind of stuff you could NEVER get away with nowadays.
All that said, it's still an nice little cartoon and very enjoyable for it's simplicity.
Also, what's the deal with Minnie's breast covers? It gives a bigger impression of shirt fabric cut away. They'd have been better off just leaving her chest blank.

RIP to the birth of a legend
Posted 2 years agoAs if losing Bob Barker wasn't enough, Now we've lost Harley Quinn. Arleen Sorkin, the original iconic voice of the character, passed away yesterday at 67. A devastating loss to the VO community and to fans of B:TAS in particular. Harley would never have grown beyond her original one-shot appearance if it hadn't been for Arleen's fantastic voice work. She is and will be missed.
A question that probably proves I'm old.
Posted 2 years agoIs being 'based' a good thing or a bad one? The impression I've gotten hearing it around makes it sound negative but the definitions I'm finding online all seem to say it's a positive thing (although context seems to be an important factor).
OMFG!

Just wanna get this out
Posted 2 years agoWas reading the comments on the latest Untitled Review Show and I noticed one comment...and I just had to stare at it for a few minutes and debate whether or not to post a link in reply to it. In the end my innate politeness won out and I decided not to post it, but I did want to get this incident out of my head in a semi-public space, so here we are.
Incidentally, this is the link I would have sent. You can probably guess the nature of the original comment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Gv0H-vPoDc
