I'm only opening 3 slots for now. My queue is empty at this time so I expect these to be completed much quicker. If there is significant interest I will open more slots.
WHAT YOU'LL GET
*Bust - that means a portrait from about the collarbone up. I might incorporate more of the body if the design/pose calls for it but it'll depend on the character.
*Full color, painted/shaded
*I'll have background elements similar to my last round of busts (for example http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15390242/ and http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15384327/ )
*By default, I guess all of these will be rated G or PG, though if you can figure out how to make a rated XXX bust and want art of it, feel free to let me know

There is a cute challenge going around the social medias right now - if you are unfamiliar, essentially you draw something without the defining characteristics of your normal art style. It's a fun way to flex your art muscles!
I've been in a rut when it comes to personal art so I'd like to participate.
Please comment with what you think are elements of my art style! Then I will try to draw something....different! LOL

Moving across the city carload by carload while also working 40 hours a week and dealing with ALLLLL the issues in my new home are taking up a ridiculous amount of time but never fear, I have not disappeared. Commissions are crawling whenever I get a snatch of time. eek

Botanical Pin-Ups~Commissions Open!
Posted 5 years agoSo I have learned that having different commission types going at the same time is good for my motivation! I am almost done with the fashion pinups and I am ready to start thinking about my next project!
I am moving house this week and I am super excited because I am moving from an urban apartment to an actual HOUSE in the WOODS with a GARDEN with PLANTS
And to celebrate that, I want to paint - PLANTS!
These will be fully rendered thigh-highs. I won't be offering line/flat only variants for these - I want to work on my rendering.

These will be $70. If your character is super complicated I might need to raise the price, but I will let you know ahead of time.

I was digging through some old journals and I remembered how much fun I had with the themed fashion pin-ups I did a few years back. I want to do them again! And I want to go NUTS with clothes!!
I don't want to reinvent the wheel so I am copying some stuff from that previous journal, with updates.
I'm offering a list of "themes" below. Pick one! They are first come, first served. I will remove them from the list as they are taken! When you pick one, I will draw a full-body illustration of your character wearing an outfit inspired by the "theme". THESE WILL BE WING-ITS. This means that I will draw your character, start to finish, without progress images, and I will only make alterations if I have completely messed something about your character up (so please be sure to give me either a good reference image or a good written description!). If you have any -suggestions- for your illustration (I dunno, if there's a particular accessory you want your character to be wearing, or if you want to be sure I know your character is tomboyish, or whatever) feel free to let me know and I will try to incorporate your suggestions into the final design.
These are wing-its, but I'm expecting them to be a little more complicated than my regular pin-ups because I'll be designing probably fairly elaborate outfits. Think ballgowns, historical clothing, fantasy game clothing, high fashion, as opposed to jeans and tshirts. I'll probably play with your character's hair too to match the outfit (unless you explicitly do not want me to change your character's hairstyle)
I am only offering these as cel-shaded. Any rating you desire, but unless you explicitly tell me you want something "adult" I will be defaulting to SFW designs.
These will be $35.
For each additional outfit, I will charge $15. I will use the same base for your character for all the outfits.
So, a character with 1 outfit is $35, 2 outfits is $50, 3 outfits is $65, and so forth.

I am in a video game rut and I don't know what to play next. I think I want to play an MMO? But I haven't played one since my DDO days (I miss those days...) and I know it's hard to play online games without having friends to play with and I kind of hate playing with random people if I don't know them and especially if it's a new game and I'm still figuring stuff out. So a chill MMO or at least a less toxic one would be cool.

Grim Dawn/ARPGS in general (please don't recommend POE though, I can't get into it and I don't know why. I have tried)
Divine Divinity/Divinity Original Sin 2 (pretty much perfect games)
Terraria (played since launch, Journey's End is still a month away though)

Stardew Valley (because come on)
On that note, Rune Factory 4 - omg I love it. I CHECK MY SOIL STATS
Monster Hunter World - But I play in marathon bursts and then take a month off
Pretty much anything by Spiderweb Software (because I am old, and I used to get pc magazines with game demos on CDs)
Fire Emblem Awakenings
Ghost Trick (I didn't play much of it but it was cool and fun. Hmm maybe I should play it again)

I mostly play PC games because I have a PC. I own an xbox, I got it on a whim but I have no games for it that I like? What was I thinking? I also have a 3DS and I love it and I hoard games for it. I wanted a switch for a long time but kept putting it off and now I can't get one - darn I really wanted to play the remastered RF4 and also FE:Three Houses. GRRR
What are you playing currently, or what can you recommend? It's ok if it's completely offbase from what I have listed above! Sometimes I dismiss games because I don't know enough about them and find out later that they are cool (like Monster Hunter World - all my friends raved about it at launch, I was completely uninterested, and I got it a year later, and it was my fave game for a while!)
My DREAM game of course is a game where I do nothing but forage for ingredients and craft them and sell them in my lovely store, and have to upgrade my store, and maintain a garden, and also date villagers, but until Witchbrook is released RF4 will have to fill the void....

Sometimes I dismiss games because I don't know enough about them and find out later that they are cool (like Monster Hunter World - all my friends raved about it at launch, I was completely uninterested, and I got it a year later, and it was my fave game for a while!)
My DREAM game of course is a game where I do nothing but forage for ingredients and craft them and sell them in my lovely store, and have to upgrade my store, and maintain a garden, and also date villagers, but until Witchbrook is released RF4 will have to fill the void....

However I would specifically like to draw some adult/NSFW images and I don't like to assume that people would be ok with that unless specifically stated.
I don't know, I might draw some full body pieces, or chibis, or busts, or even just sketches, but quite frankly I am a little tired of drawing my own girls right now (lol) so I would like to draw you! This could range from just artistic nudity to - well, more.
Comment below with character refs. If you already commented on my last journal you can just tell me so and I'll check there. Keep in mind these would be adult images. Please let me know if there is any "rating" or whatever that you would prefer or that you would be uncomfortable with, or anything I might need to know about the character. An Update and Explanation~~

Hi all - assuming anyone is still here? Just wanted to check in.
Back in mid 2017 I had some significant life upheavals that I didn't really want to talk about (I am a pretty private person) but it affected me more than I cared to admit. I don't live close to my family or have a lot of close friends so I don't really have an IRL support system and I am used to dealing with stuff on my own. I have had bad experiences with social media in the past (also why I am private) so I don't rely on internet friends perhaps as much as I should either.
Well, without going too much into it, because we all have things going on - my life stressors coupled with my (until now) low level anxiety just kind of got out of control and I just became a different person for a while there. I stopped taking my meds (great job!) which did not help. I used to love doing commissions and though I tried to get back into it (they have always been fun in the past!) it just became one more stressful thing. It was easier for me to just stop drawing altogether and check out of social media. I haven't logged in to FA in...well a long time. I was dismissive to those of you who tried reaching out in email and discord and I am sorry. It was all just a bit overwhelming. It was not a reflection on any of you, just me trying to deal with stuff and not feeling comfortable enough to confide in others.
The good news is that I made changes. I moved to a new city, quit my good but stressful job, have a new job that is just as good but has minimal responsibility/stress compared to the old one, got a great new place to live (with a studio so I can do artwork in comfort!) and purged a lot of my stuff (anxiety makes me hoard...). Instead of living in the middle of nowhere I now live in a city! The acute life upheaval issues have resolved and will not be recurring. I can't promise that I will never have stressful times anymore but that particular situation is resolved.
I still have a ways to go but I started working on a painting this week (my first since early 2018) and I actually enjoy working on it and I am excited to do more. I won't be taking commissions until I feel like I am ready (if at all) but I think I will be updating FA with a little more regularity. Maybe I'll even try streaming sometime soon.
Anyway thanks for reading and (hopefully) understanding/forgiving.

Hiatus?

As you may or may not have noticed I went on unexpected and unwanted hiatus. Without getting too deep into it, I had some personal family stuff that needed to be taken care of which also meant that furry art went on the backburner. I've been able to do a little art but it's nonfurry and I don't post that stuff here.
I think I am in a place where I can return to the community, but I don't think I'll be taking commissions etc for a while until I am sure I can commit. I have one extremely old commission I am working on today (so sorry!) but otherwise if I do post it'll probably be personal silliness.
I have barely logged in to FA in a year so I don't know what is going on in the community etc. My submissions etc are ridiculous so I may have to nuke them...ugh I hate doing that.

Streamin' Freebie Raffle, and some questions

- Lucky number 11!!OK - First things first.
I'd like to stream this weekend but I would also like to have something TO stream. I am sick of my own characters (well, not sick of them, but I have no urge/inspiration to create art of them at the moment) so I'd like to draw yoooou. Drawing poses is the hardest thing for me to do and I get flustered easily sketching on stream so I'll get a few "YCH" type poses ready ahead of time. Basically reply to this journal with the info below (under FREEB FORM) and I'll reply to you with a number; on the livestream I'll do a lottery drawing and draw the number I pick. I won't do the lottery unless I have a couple of viewers to verify the legitimacy of the raffle! Haha
This/these (I don't know how many I will do...at least one, maybe more???) will be fully rendered pin up pics, thigh or waist up, simple background. I took about a 6 month FA break for IRL issues that I'd rather not get into (not private or anything, just silly) but I am certainly alive and here. I literally have not drawn anything beyond doodling on a postit note at work while on the phone since the last thing I posted here, and I have a lot of work and outside commitments to my time right now, so I'm mostly gonna be lurking and posting personal art stuffs for the time being.
Thanks to those who added me or commented or fav'd in my absence, I do really appreciate it and I'm sorry I haven't been very active.
