Art coming in and coming out
Posted 12 years agoI've just managed to get another commission with awesome cherrybox/garnetto , this time skiing. I like the big commissions to be clean because then I can actually use them/ show them to people. I'm also in the process of getting a 7 inch vinyl figure of my character made so I can have a little me on my shelf, which I am very excited about and can't wait to get it (although given it hasn't even started yet I think that may be a while off). That along with getting some nice things to play with with Master has taken up quite a bit of my spare funds. So there will be art trickling through from previous purchases and if I see something I like a lot then I may be able to shift funds around, but (and I know I said this last time) there maybe a bit less than that initial bursts as I try to control myself.
On the other hand I came out to my flat mates yesterday. It's been a really big deal for me for the past year or so trying to work out what I want/ who I want. I'm am by no means done with that but in the end I just got tiered and have had this going on long enough that I just wanted to progress. They were very "that's ok" and then we just moved on, everything normal again. So I guess thats good, not fully sure what to do now.
On the other hand I came out to my flat mates yesterday. It's been a really big deal for me for the past year or so trying to work out what I want/ who I want. I'm am by no means done with that but in the end I just got tiered and have had this going on long enough that I just wanted to progress. They were very "that's ok" and then we just moved on, everything normal again. So I guess thats good, not fully sure what to do now.

Posted 12 years agoI’ve been having many a thought recently, and being the logical person I am, I decided to write them down and see if I could make sense of them. But being the rubbish writer I am this will probably make no sense. I thought they may flow better if I made it like a journal and if so, why not post it as my first one? Got to start somewhere.
So about a month or two back, when I really got into this for a while, I had quite a few commissions coming in. I think that was good and they set quite a president for my likes and allowed me to chat with a few of you. It seems like at the moment they have slowed down a bit; I’m still getting them in and waiting for some bigger longer term ones. But I’ve just been thinking about it.
At the moment several things are happening; firstly university is becoming busy, work and all that stuff which most people will know about. It’s not all consuming at the moment but it’s distracting. Also dying my hair un-natural colours has helped on that front :) .
Secondly I’m trying to work out the issues I mention on my front page, through various means. I guess that is satisfying my want for the “darker” side and possibly why some of the bigger commissions, from artists I really like, that I’m getting are pg (also want something I can actually show off), or just general ych/ basic commissions (which are usually lighter play) instead of seeking out artists for specific needs (I’m still keen to get some more fetish work, just haven’t found the right art or idea).
So that’s just my rational, I’m not sure if it is right, if this actually means anything at all (and I’ve just said a whole load of nothing) or I’m mixing up things in my head. I guess I can look over this in a while and see if it is right or not.
