Some of you may have noticed that I am not as active as I used to be. Well, thats true - studies consume most of my time and/or strength but I am working on something, something big, and I mean BIG.
Composition is almost ready - 8 characters in dynamic poses and there is still some place left for 3 or 4 more ^.=.^ Everything will have truckload of details as usual, so, the whole drawing is made on bigger format - A3, instead of A4. I will be terribly hard piece to do. Am I insane? Maybe ^.=.^
There is only simple problem - drawing on such a big format will not fit my old scanner - if you have any ideas, please tell me, how can I upload such behemoth here without loosing too many details :)

Uff... It was hard as hell.
Finally translation of my story about Shata'lin is ready! Feel free to read it and show me any mistakes you can find, but what's more important, enjoy :)

Just like the title says, I'm working on translation of "Wieczny Strażnik" - my first Shata'lin related story. It is a hard work I assure you. I am not native English user and I just love using stylized language and massive descriptions in my writings which makes this work even more difficult.
So... You may expect many grammar errors and others but I want you to know that I am doing my best! Thats all for you guys

You may expect this work to be finished in a few weeks, then I'll post rough translation and will fix any mistakes you will notice.

As you can see, a little background info in English about Shata'lin is already there - I know, there are many typos, but it was just a quick summary of questions I received and other stuff like that.

So... My name is Simon Kopertowski, I'm from Poland and I'm an anthro artist. I have nothing really interesting to say about myself, so let me tell you about my drawings :)

Creatures you can see on my drawings are all original characters and belong to the species called Shata'lin.
Shata'lin are quite unusual species, because the are not anthros in full meaning of this word. They are creation of the Empress - the great Goddess in mortal body. She in Her wisdom created Shata'lin to protect her, so they are not effect of evolution, but act of creation.
Shata'lin share many threats of reptiles and some of mammals. They are immortals (they can be killed but they do not die because of age) and every female has some psyker abilities.
Shata'lin live in the Holy City of Tear, hidden from barbaric human eyes. There is only one milion of them and only few are able to protect the capital city. The largest group are commoners - simple citizens. Army of the Empress has only three main groups: hunters - scouts of Shata'lin, guardians - the regular army, Surfalane (singular: Surfalano) - champions and generals (there is only one hundred of them, only males).
The priesthood is represented by Sukurfalane (singular: Sukurfalano), only females, and temple guard (elite force of warriors).
There are two more castes - Chroniclers - only 3 male psykers, who write down the history, and Housemothers - only females, they are the only one who are allowed to take care of children. Eggs are being taken to the temple right after laying - children do not know their biological parents.
The highest authorities are Angels (six of them, all phisically dead) and the Empress, who sleep most of the time, because controling the weather, taking care of eggs, souls etc. are very tiring.
