wow... just wow
Posted 15 years agoOk... so i read that FA Live Journal and I am glad to get news but its just kind of suprising just what did happen and how it was handled. Yes there was a lot wrong but it seems that the request for "constructive comments" just flew past the screen and were not paid attention to. Yes there were problems.. but how about we all just say "hey well you didnt do this this and this." or "well you missed this this and this" and not sit there and point fingers all day long. Wont help you any. So if you do participate in the tread my friends be constructive to the admins because its the only way things will get done right and fast. Yes things fumbled... but the internet is against everyone.
Just so you know... the final boss of the internet is 4chan... so yeah. The only hope for the world would be Boxxy cause she crashed the final boss of the internet.
But this is the internet.. nothing is private and if you dont watch it just right things will go like they did. They have done a wonderful job clearing up most of the issues I believe.
Most of the people here are great and I just want to see us be a supporting community while we get things fixed. Any suggestions just let them know on that link. Just be constructive.

Commissions on Mischlings
Posted 15 years agoHey guys! I am gonna start posting commission info but the Mischlings will be first seeing as I actually have them posted. I will also be posting images of the baby Mischling soon but here are the prices for them.
$30/$35- for the small baby mischlings as I call them. I have completed one this size and will be posting a picture soon of it. More complicated poses may call for more. When I post the image of the small one, it will have a more involved pose than the larger one but still not considered complicated.
$40/$50- for the larger one which is posted now and the one you saw. It stands at about 5 in tall at resting but stand taller depending on pose. 8.5 in wide with the ears. More difficult poses may have me call for a bit more but the price i have will include shipping.
If you want a personal color scheme, I reeaaaaally could use a ref. Otherwise they will have to be played by ear on my part. I can always try my best. BUT KEEP IN MIND! if you are wanting really elaborate colors i may have to add a couple of dollars to cost only because I do have to pay for paint. That will never be over $5 dollars for that.
The final price will include shipping which the ones above are considered to include shipping. This is why I have the $30/$35. That way its a bit simpler. Again though... complex coloration equals about 5 dollars more. I will be posting more commission info as I post more things that way you can at least see what I do. Now that classes are over for roughly a month I can do this fun stuff ^_^.

I have a long list of things i am willing to do, along with my Mischlings, some stuffed plushies, drawings that are pencil, inked, and digital colored! I may even open up other things as i find out. Prices.... uh.... >_> i will get to that but I dont eat pockets away i promise. THOUGH if there is mailing or shipping involved of course they will be a bit more... though honestly I dont see any of my stuff being over 50$. I will start posting more after finals week so everyone knows what i do XD. If you find yourselves interested let me know. I likes to be workable!

Of the Crashes of the Computers
Posted 15 years agoSo I got word that Markoh's compy has crashed. I am not sure how many of you guys that watch her will read this but I will post it on her page as a shout too. I just got the email... cause I have been bad and not checking my emails. T_T that was a great idea huh?

The new CS5 Adobe Programs

I tell you technology has sure jumped forward, but the things that i viewed for the new CS5 nearly blew me away. Some of the functions were just unbelievable.
Such as the content aware fill that fills in the background for you when you take out an object... like vines on a wall, or the content aware brush that will take out things in photographs without messing up other details. Also there is a color mix option with brushes that allow for the colors to actually mix instead of having to smug them together. I really am impressed...
but now anyone can copy other people's stuff.... can manipulate it and call it there own. Art theft has always been bad but with the increase in technology i am afraid that artist who rightfully own their stuff will have a harder time proving things.
This is an opinion... so no shooting me. Just take care everyone in making sure that you have proof of your ownership. There are too many great artist here that I do not want being stolen from.

Posted 15 years agoEvery time i turn around its something else. I have over 600 dollars worth of bills to pay and my mom cant help me. With over 4,000 dollars worth of medical bills and paying a crap load out just to go to school.. the government still feels that I dont deserve any help for college. And it sucks. I need help.. as it is i dont think i can keep my job through next semester and still retain my sanity. I just dont. Every time i turn around... i break down... and i think the people around me are tired of dealing with it. Why does it when someone says its going to get better...for over 4 months straight.. that it comes out a complete lie.
