This is a sad day in what is already a dark chapter in our history. Dame Vera Lynn has died at the age of 103, with her family by her bedside. She had a good run, brought comfort to many with her songs in the war, and has now been able to rest with her family by her side.

Rest in peace, Vera. We'll meet again.

Well, I had hoped that these 20's would be as roaring as the last one, but fate has not been kind. Over 100 years since the Spanish Flu epidemic and here we are again, though I hope and believe that the Coronavirus will not be as deadly even as the death toll rises. But then this new decade is still very young and it may yet surprise us as time goes on despite the shaky start.

Last night I was playing on Gears of War 4 when the right bumper on my Xbox one controller, a controller which has served me faithfully for a year and 8 months, had partially popped out. It still works and I've put up a temporary fix with some masking tape. A look on the web forums has informed me that this is a common defect on the controllers, my model being the updated one with the 3.5mm audio jack. I may end up getting a replacement which I'll have to buy because my 90 day warranty is well out of date. That is all.

Yep, it's my birthday again. I'm 27 this year and that's 162 in fox years, don't worry though, the floof triangles don't need a hearing trumpet yet. Hehehe!
