Under Night In-Birth
Posted 11 years agoSo my copy of Under Night In-Birth came in last week and I am loving it! For those that don't know what it is (which I'm guessing is most of you) it is a new fighting game by French Bread, the guys behind Melty Blood.
While I don't have the confidence to go online (yet) I'm planning on streaming it when I get the chance! I plan on showing off the arcade stories for my mains (Byakuya, Merkava, and Chaos), and the combos I used to get their combo challenge trophies which are: Deal 5000 damage in one combo for Merkava and Chaos, and get 90 hits in one combo for Byakuya.
I plan to be using hitbox.tv for the stream and to let you guys know in advance you'll need to make an account to participate in the chat.
Edit: I've also picked up Akatsuki so there's another story/combo challenge to show.

Your gaming habits?
Posted 11 years agoJust something that I think would be a fun topic for conversation! Here's some of mine to start it off:
1. Immediately forgetting that I saved and save again.
2. Name all my male MCs "Charlie".
3. When booting up a new game I always check the options menu first (or just the menu in a RPG).
4. I always jump on ladders, never walk up to them.
5. Jumping off high ledges for a shortcut and forgetting I take fall damage.

My grandpa is dying
Posted 12 years agoI had a bad feeling this was going to happen...
He's been in the hospital for the past week and his condition has only worsened each day... now his liver and kidneys have failed, the antibiotics are no longer helping with his infection, and the medicine he has been given for his blood pressure is the only thing that's keeping it up.
At this point, we don't want to force him to stay alive and have decided to let him go. Even if we keep him as he is now, the doctors have told us he won't make it to Friday. I'll be leaving to say goodbye to him soon.
Update: He died before we even got there today... still said goodbye regardless.
