In case you're jumping ship, which is probably understandable at this point, I'd honestly recommend Weasyl. It's had its bumps and has its lulls, but all in all I prefer it at the end of the day. I'm also on tumblr, but that's more of a social platform.

Hi! It's been a few months since I spoke up, so I figured I'd do so again.

Finished out the semester, started HRT, came home. Gonna be home for a while, working on making a workspace for myself so I don't kill my back per the norm. Exciting. Moving furniture and floor polishing less exciting.

Just checking interest on a thing: I used to do YCH's in for things like this or this, where the silhouette would be edited over to be your character. I always auctioned them off, but I don't have to continue that.

But anyway, wondering if anyone would be interested in them over here, whether auction or flat-rate. They'd obviously be waay cheaper than my fully custom scenes if I did a flat rate.

For something like my sketch commissions, what would you consider a reasonable turn around time? What would you consider a fast turnaround time? What about for painted commissions?

ADDITIONALLY: If you've commissioned me before, would you consider me to have had a slow, average/reasonable, or fast turnaround time for your order?

My hiatus is going a little longer than expected. Not sure when it'll end, but I'll probably be gone for at least another week or two.

I've gone a little quiet and unresponsive due to some issues on my end, which hopefully will clear up soon; I ask for your patience in the meantime. Getting back to everyone is on the top of the list for when I get better. On a related note, I turned 20 yesterday, which has only furthered my quiet existential crisis (in between cake).

Hello everyone how are you doing.

Last time I posted one of these updates it was immediately following an extremely depressive period, and I think it's pretty safe to say I'm well out of that part of my year. I've been a fairly chipper fellow lately, surprisingly unworried by things that previously would have left me a panicking wreck. Though I've had my quiet periods, a few attacks, and my off days I've been much better overall. I know I'm basically riding a wave of relief after having climbed a mountain, and I know I will backslide eventually, but for now things are good.

My therapist has been a breath of fresh air compared to previous attempts at therapy: we've been working through CBT techniques and grief and basically everything else I really need help with in my life. What I'm most excited about is the prospect that, if all things go well, I could start HRT within a few months. If that happens I will probably talk about it here, as I know I've previously found it helpful when people talk about their HRT and general transitioning experiences publicly. But we'll cross that bridge.

I'm sorry if I go a little quiet for the holidays. I'm home for winter break and, when at home, I have many people around me that actively make sure I am okay and keep me occupied. This leaves me with very little left in my social reserves for people online. But rest assured I am fine and content, just tired at the end of the day when I come to check on everyone here.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you all know that my computer will be sent off for repairs sometime around the 15th of December, and it's unlikely I'll get it back with any sort of expediency. Due to that, I'll be unable to work on any artsy stuff after the 15th, which includes commission and trade work. So if you were planning on getting something from me as holiday gifts for anyone, please let me know within the week so I can get it done for you on time.

I'll still be around to answer comments, notes, and maybe occasionally post a journal or two, but I won't be able to create or upload anything while my computer's away as far as I can tell. That may change, but I greatly doubt it. Thanks!

I'm going to be turning 20 in about a month and I have no idea what I'm doing with myself. Mercifully I'm able to avoid Thanksgiving with the family, and thus avoid the "Are you on your way to the two-and-a-half-kids white-picket-fence" type questions, but I know I'll get them later in the year. Yech yech yech.

I've gotten nowhere on any of my medical conditions, I've gotten nowhere as far as my schooling goes, with the only lifesaver being a scholarship that's kept me out of debt so far.

But I guess things are okay. Just that not being a teenager anymore is more than a little intimidating.

I'd just like to point new folks in the direction of my "a note on conduct" journal that I posted a while back. It explains what I'd like to do here and how I go about maintaining those things.

I'm becoming increasingly uncomfortable sharing my personal work, stories, and (to the extent that I have been) my life here, and I don't want that to be a thing that continues. I would like to continue opening up without fear of this community, so forgive me if I have to moderate things a bit.
