Halloween night, 2am (so technically November 1st), some monster idiot set fire to the two cars parked outside the back of our house. They're literally right up against the back wall of the building.
Most terrifying experience of my life.

My partner just happened to be awake to see the fire start up, and called emergency services. By the time he was done on the phone to them, the flames were as high as our windows on the 2nd floor, and smoke was starting to fill our apartment. We shut ourselves in the front rooms of the building (where there is a fire escape and our pet rabbits), ready to evacuate as soon as we needed to.
Thankfully the fire brigade arrived in time to put it out before anything more than a window cracked on the building.

Had we been asleep, however, it might have gone very differently.

The reason this happened is because of some neighbours being petty about property and land that didn't belong to them. They targeted the cars that belonged to the landlady, not even considering the lives they were putting at risk.

It makes me so sick to think that anyone could really be that selfish.

I know of a friend who had the tires on his car slashed when it was parked in his private space, by a man in a nearby house who believes the parking space should belong to him.

Why are people like this?

I can't even tell you how angry I am.
Or how frightened.
The world doesn't seem safe anymore.

Back from a great time at the MCM Expo~! I didn't announce that I was going because I assumed furries aren't the type to go to an event like that, but I was wrong!
I guess most of myself is fur and non-fur friendly anyway. I should probably advertise that I can draw furs in future ^^;

Didn't sell as much as usual yet I had the most awesome time. Bought loads of G3 MLP (and ordered G4s from the guy I bought them from) and have been officially converted!

I saw one of  Qarrezel (Clockwork Creature)'s fursuits walk past and chat to the table near me, it was amazing!
I've never been a big time furry, but I've gradually become more and more since joining the fandom.

Well, I've decided I'd like a fursuit thing from Clockwork Creature~
I've already decided what I'm after. A raptor/deer cross thing, where my upper arm, thighs and torso skin will be showing. So... half fur? (Three-quater fur? XD)

I love fursuits that look so real, it's as if there really are creatures that exist in society alongside humans~

Anyway yeah so I'll have a fursona then to appear as at some events :D

Sorry, so inactive, as usual. Not even going to promise to be more active this time, but the plan is to start uploading again tomorrow.

Japan was great, but after getting back I got a new pet rabbit, I've started University and had to get a load of work done (accidentlyleftitlastminute) that I'd promised for the anime society. Other than that I've been sitting on my ass doing a whole lot of nothing ORZ

Getting back into it though! Have been making lots of art~
I wish I were better at bothering to upload the work I do though >o<

Also MCM Expo soon, will be there again, with some flashy new stuff :D Yay!

My exams are over, for good, no school for me ever again!!

I'm really sorry for neglecting my account, but I'm free now to spend all of my time working on art, and I will aim to upload regularly!
I have a few projects to start, and I'll let you guys in on them as they get going!

Some of you may also know that I'm the 'Art Monkey' at an anime society, where my role is to create the artwork to represent the society with their mascot, Unii, and to teach manga classes once a week. I will upload some things that I create for them, to let you guys see what I do, and I will also be working on some tutorials and resources that I will definitely be sharing!

I also plan to do a couple of textiles things, as a personal project, but I'll upload the results here too.

I just went through and deleted every single 'Deleted Submission' from my Favourites, here on FA.
One by one in the control panel.

There should be a "nuke all deleted submissions" button.


It took my favourites from 11 pages to 9 pages (when viewed 48 at a time).
That's about 96 images in my favourites that were deleted.

I'm never going to delete a submission unless it's absolutely necessary, and if I quit FA, I'll still leave my submissions here.

My website is (finally) running! And it has PAGES!!
Took me forever, not because I couldn't, but because I didn't have time ;-;
And also kept redesigning it...

As a general update thing, I've paid for my table at the MCM Expo, still looking forward to it, although I need to get prints ready and I'm running out of time ^^;; I'll manage it.

I feel overloaded with work, and this year, I fear, will be again fairly unproductive in terms of my artwork, but should pick up again when I've done my exams and all. I just need to focus on getting the marks I need, and then I don't need to worry about it again ^^;

When I create pictures for you as commission: You have full rights to use this picture however you want. However, so do I. I can use the same picture however I want.

If it was a commission of your own character (or yourself, a friend, etc) I will not own copyright to that character, only that picture.

If the commission was of one of MY characters, YOU will NOT own copyright to that character, only the picture.

In response to an art trade someone wanted me to draw the lolita sheep, after doing so they made it apparent that they believed to be taking ownership of this character.
No.
Neither of them belong to them.
It is my character, I own full copyright to that character.
The picture was made for them, not the character.

Unless I clearly state:
You will own this character that I will be designing for you, you'll have full copyright to that character, I will have shared copyright to the picture only, but the character will be yours.

HoshiiChannel is up on DA! This is my doujin circle, with it's own area on DeviantArt, where I will be updating with information based on upcoming events, previews and releases, products, etcetc.

Because here I will be uploading alot of different types of work. All my personal art, be it photography, crafts, or anime. As for my actual products (such as a printed manga...), although I will upload them here, the group will be focused on them.

Merry Christmas everyone! Even if yours isnt great, the way I see it: Make it great. It's the once-a-year excuse to have a tree in your room, tinsel everywhere, and your characters in all sorts of interesting scenes!

I've got some art dumpage to do between now and January.

Been busy ;-; Haven't drawn much in the last few months, so basically I have pictures from August to upload O.o; and some recent ones too.


My excuse: School laid exams on me, this soon into the year! So I've got 3 in January and 2 major deadlines for coursework, so I haven't been able to focus much on art, however~
After January I'll be free-er-ish, and will be dangerously upgrading my art (You might not recognise its me! Except that it'll be cute. And fluffy. And trappy.) before opening commissions~! Wheeeh!


# Saa, Christmas~ #

Some kinda short story or pilot, I have alot that's been circling my head for months, even years, storylines and all, I need to put it down on paper.
I have some motivation to do so.

And I slept well for the first time in ages.

SOOOO I would say "Expect art" but I might end up 'not getting around to it' again, or at least not uploading it for a while, but either way... I WILL BE DRAWING! I HOPE! XD;


Also, went to the expo yesterday, which was greeat. I mean queuing for an hour wasn't great (Early Entry doesn't mean "get in early", it would seem!) But I bought a Miku Nendroid figurine (AT LAST!) and a Taiga figure! I got yaoi and commissions and wheee~

We all kinda camped outside the exit with a giant treasure chest that was more recognised than my cosplay of Azusa from K-On! D: Alas, the mood started to drop towards the end of the day. Alot of people said it wasn't as great as other Expo's have been. Maybe cus it was raining. It just felt lacking.

But it was a damn good day for me.

The damn best ever.

And so I'm going to channel that into some art. Yeeaah.

First off, sorry to  damienfox about the kiriban. Typically, stuff has come up, and I haven't had much chance to sit down and work on it. Alas, it's on my to-do list, so I'll get to it when things clear up.

I got a new kitty on saturday... Having been a little messed up on friday, I wasn't in a great mood, I hadn't slept more than two hours, but I thought that it'd be a good thing to collect my new companion at last.

I don't exactly know what's wrong with me. I fell to pieces Saturday night. I'm worried about this little thing 24/7, and I haven't slept since. I've had panic attacks and such...

I basically felt like...

It needs me to play with it, to cuddle it, to constantly be around it. And I didn't really want to get too attached to it, after my last cat died after 1 year.

Thinking about it in the future, I didn't want to come home every day to an adult cat at all. Why? I have no idea! It just frightened me to the point of being unable to breathe.

If anyone has advice for this, it'd really be appreciated but I don't usually get many responses.

Alas, I'm just going to get on with things as best I can. Eventually I should just get used to him, and he should get used to my lifestyle..

Been sooo busy. Barely had a chance to draw anything in the last month (I've done like one picture...)

Been doing loootsa programming though. Requires less energy to sit down and program something. More fun to. I'm lazy. ._.; I do want to draw some more though, jeez.

Had a bit of a cough Saturday night, woke up the next morning almost choking up my lungs. Bedridden. All day. Managed to work on monday, though in a fair bit of pain. Today. They sent me home. D:

Rawr! I haven't uploaded in too long. I keep meaning to and then *excuses warning* my back starts aching and my lung starts giving me grief, and then I just go to sleep and dream of uploading. I've had some wierd dreams lately. Like ones based on things I'm going to do, or should've done, but in a surreal way... But then whilst being awake, I haven't worried so much about that kinda thing...

I'd rather not dream about it though, it makes me fear for my mental health. I'm already fearing my physical one... I do not need this shit.


Anyway going to upload everything I needed to upload in the next week, and then try to do some new things. I have done NOTHING all summer, other than being ILL. I AM SICK OF BEING SICK!!

All jokes aside, as soon as I can do some examples, I'll open for commissions. They won't be expensive, the most will be £10 for a full digital... this is because I'm not a well known artist and I know people are struggling for money right now... besides... I don't really know the worth of the shit I draw. Mawr.

Wheeh away again. Very little internet, and by that I mean literally I will be able to get to a computer for a few hours every few days, just to make sure my FA Inbox doesnt rise over 9000.

Sorry I didn't get to upload anything, and, being ill is not fun.

When I get back I'm really gonna try to upload everything and get my new stuff sorted. V.1.0 of my website should be finished, if I can get all the graphics done, before the end of September, and I'll be purchasing paid membership on DA so err... that should be good.

A little pissed off that the projects I had planned for this summer went to shit thanks to a number of things. Shit happening like getting ill, loosing my PC to a stupid virus, blahblahblah...

Grah I can't wait for summer to end. Autumn is the best, but winter is... ugh... >,< things will get better.

So there's this thing called a Primary Spontaneous Pneumothorax (Collapsed Lung) that can be caused by changes of pressure forming air bubbles in the lung that burst and so it partially collapses...

I'm a -little- bit freaked out about this... I'm not short of breath (so its not that bad) but it hurts constantly, and I couldn't sleep last night thanks to it but....

Well I guess it can't be helped...

I will do my best to start updating and stuff though ^^ Hopefully everything is fine.

I urge you to reply to this if you care to try and comfort me, every little bit of support is great right now. I know its not serious but this is SCARY DUDE!

I swear I've had the shittest day of my life, and it's going to do nothing but leave me depressed for the next week.

Wonderful, because that also collides with the stupid holiday I'm going on for a week.
