Just giving out a little update to those on my pending commission queue.

From tomorrow to next Tuesday, I won't be home! I'll be visiting my partner's parents for the weekend and doing some stuff with them. A mini-vacation as it were, even if we're going over there to get stuff for my partner's car checked out lmao.

Just a little update since most of my pending commissioners are on here.

I've been having a bought of art block/mental health stuff going on (executive dysfunction is great) so that's been an issue for a bit now, plus I've caught a bit of a cold, so haven't been feeling the best. Next week I'll also be visiting my partners family for the holidays, only for a few days into the weekend, but just a general update if you don't hear from me for a bit! Hey all! I just decided to spend some money an pick up a new tablet. My old one was uh. In super rough shape. It was very small, and the 'main' area on it that I focused most of my drawing on was very, very scratched up. The tablet pen was being held together by a piece of tape, and the button on the pen had fallen out as well. So, it was high time I spent the money to get a new one.

It just showed up today, and the reason for this journal is to let anyone waiting on commission if you could be be patient as I adjust to the change! My new one is much bigger so I have to adjust to the wider strokes, haha. I'm used to drawing on such a small area. So if there's any further delays, this would be why, but I don't doubt it will take me very long to adjust! Just last thing I want to do is be giving people commission work before I'm fully back in form for drawing as I'm getting used to this tablet! :3

Just a little update about my YCHs on my queue, I'm going to start prioritizing Halloween themed ones this week, as the halloween is coming up on us. If you ordered an NSFW one, do not worry, I"ll get too it as soon as I'm able~

I usually use Sta.sh to host my commission images, but I will be clearing out a bunch of them soon. (ever since the eclipse change they've limited how much space by a huge margin lmao) Reminder to always save commissions to your pc or device! You're free to upload them wherever you see fit once you receive the files (with credit given ofc.) Don't use my direct links, please~ I ask this because I will eventually clear out original psd files and such, so I may not have the image still if you need it later on!

Edit: I should also mention that anything from over a year ago (about October 2020 and earlier) I literally do not have, as I swapped to a desktop pc and my shitty laptop quite literally kicked the fucking bucket, and I could not retrieve the files!

So with the increase in paypal fees and all that, I may need to look into increasing my prices. My chibi prices WILL be increasing at the end of the month, and the rest will probably follow suit eventually. I may flat out remove the cheaper stuff like sketch headshots and whatnot just because of how much Paypal will be taking.

Hey all! Just a little notice that I'm officially moved into the new place, so hopefully I should be able to start getting back to my queue and pending commissions! Payment must be made upfront, unless I have specified otherwise. (Sales, virtual currencies.) All payments are received via Paypal, in USD. I do accept DA Points on some commission types, but you must contact me on DA for that to be an option. Payment must be received within 24hrs of the client placing an order, unless discussed with me. Failure to send payment will forfeit your place in my queue, and continued failure to pay on time will result in a ban from my services.

I do not do refunds, unless I approach you and offer it, in the case of something happening where I will not be able to finish your piece. Please only order a commission if it will not put you in a financially tight spot.

Please be patient while waiting on your commission! I suffer from several health conditions that can make me a tad slow, as well as various real life happenings. Please check my public queue first to see where you are on the list, and I tend to put life updates there as well if things happen. I do try to contact commissioners specifically if things take too long. I do not mind you asking for updates occasionally and within reason, but please do not rush me. The longest you may wait is a few months.

I will only work from visual references. When ordering, please provide with me with most up to date reference of your character. I do accept additionally visual guides (ie; draw the character in this outfit) but I need one, clean, flat-colored (or with a color palette) full body reference. Do not link me to a gallery full of different designs/outfits, please be clear about what you want to avoid any confusion! If you have any specific requests, or wish to provide me with a personality blurb, be sure to do that as well. Please keep all information in a single message/order form, so I do not forget to include anything.

You will be sent a sketch preview to approve, however, I only allow one round of edits at this stage. Please tell me everything you want changed in one message. It saves us both the time of the back and forth such things can cause. When a piece is finished, I only do one round of minor edits (tweaking a color) and nothing major (such as lineart changes.) Any major edits beyond these will cost an extra fee. Again, please always be clear and concise about what you want to avoid this. It's just as frustrating for me as it is for you!

Please keep response times prompt! I do not wish to be kept waiting for weeks on end for you to confirm edits or changes to your commission, if you know you are not going to be active on the site you have commissioned me from, give me an additional place to contact you! I do understand things happen, but it can be quite disruptful to my workflow when such things happen, since I tend to prefer working on things in the order they are received.

Complex designs may cost more than the base prices. I will inform you if this is the case. I do not mind if you decide not to commission me or choose a different character in this case!

When a piece is finished, it is your to do with as you wish! After all, you paid for it. You may re-upload it or edit it for personal use. My only requests is that you provide proper credit, and do not use it for commercial use. If you are reselling a character with my art attached, please feel free to add on it's value, if you're able too.

Any artwork I finish I do retain the rights to post and use as future examples. Finished pieces will always be watermarked and credited to the client, when posted publicly, but I can and will use them as examples for my future commissions. If you are uncomfortable with this, do not commission me.

Do not request I mimic a different art style. I will not do this, your character or request will be drawn in my style. If you want another style, commissioni another artist.

Finished pieces may look different than examples given. As an artists, I'm constantly learning and growing, and tweaking how I do things. Obviously there won't be any major differences, but there might be small differences.

Be sure to save your finished pieces to your personal files! They will not remain where I've hosted them forever, as I clear them out occasionally. I may also delete original files, so I may not be able to provide you with it again if it is lost.

I can decline any commission for any reason of my own. Generally, this will either be I'm uncomfortable with the subject or character you've given me, or I am uncomfortable with you and your behaviour. If you've been blocked by me on any site, it's most likely due to your behaviour and I do not wish to provide my services to you, as this is the easiest way for me to control that. Below you will find a list of things I will and won't do, for further information.

Guidelines/Terms of Service

First come first served!
All commissions are on a first come, first served basis. You can 'claim' and send information later, however I only hold slots for 24 hours. Failure to send your information, or pay, withing that time frame will forfeit your slot and the next interested party will get it. I am not obligated to inform you that you have lost your slot or send reminders, I may, and I may not, depending if I have time. Please do not claim a slot if you do not have the funds readily available. You may try again in the next opening if you have lost your slot, however if you continue to claim and not send payments or information you will be blacklisted from purchasing comissions from me.

Payment upfront!
I will not start on your commission until I have been paid completely, up front. There are no refunds unless I offer it. Such as the case I will not be able to complete your commission. All payments are made in USD via Paypal.

Please be patient with me.
I tend to get overwhelmed incredibly easily, so sometimes I may get quite slow when it comes to doing art. Please do not rush me, you may ask for updates but don't pester me everyday. I try not to take very long, but sometimes things happen. Whether that be my own mental capacity not being able to handle it or something in the real world. As well as various health conditions that make drawing constantly quite the task (like arthritis). Things will always get in the way so just a heads up that there is a chance it may take a little while. Do not fret, I will get it done though!

Visual references only!
I will only work from visual references. This does not mean you need a full fledged reference sheet of your character however. But I will need something. Even if you just say a 'white deer wearing [insert link] this dress' would be fine, and said image of dress would come from google images or any other source. Just something to go on. Color palettes or hex codes are super helpful as well.

Complex designs may cost more.
This is a rare case, but if I find the reference you've given me is a little too far out of my comfort zone, there may be an additional cost to doing it. I will let you know ahead of time, and you're free to back out if you decide you do not wish to pay for it. I'm usually fairly okay with most things, but complex clothing or heavy mech may fall on the too detailed side for me.

You may repost, re-upload, etc.
You're allowed to share and re-upload your commission wherever you please! It belongs to you, of course. The only thing I ask is that you link back to me somehow and give credit! Do not claim the artwork as your own.

I have the right to decline any commission.
Even if you are one of the first to claim a slot, I may decline your commission. The subject matter may be something that makes me, or could make other uncomfortable. Or I may find the request to be too difficult for me and I would not feel comfortable trying to give you a piece I would not be happy with in the end. I will let you know immediately if this is the case, and I will give you the chance to ask for something else.

I may re-use and re-post any commissions you purchase from me.
They will only be posted as examples for future art shops, commission sheets, etc. Pieces will always be watermarked to avoid theft, and will often be cropped or re-sized. If you are truly uncomfortable with these, please do not order a commission. It would be too difficult for me to remember not to post your piece. I will not take credit for your character nor let anyone request something along the lines of 'make it look like this character' etc. Your piece will still be yours regardless.

Be sure to be as clear as possible with your request.
If you want something specific, be sure to tell me. If a feature on your character is different than the ref provided, be sure to make that clear. I only offer minimal changes after a commission has been completed, anything large will cost an extra fee. If you wish to see a sketch preview before the finished piece, let me know as well, I do not automatically send them unless requested. If you forgot a detail, please let me know as soon as possible, not until I send you the finished piece. If it's a detail you did not include in your initial request, or is large... I may deny the edit. Please understand this.

Prices and styles offered are subject to change.
If I feel a price needs to be altered, it will be altered. If you have a pending commission you will not have to pay the difference, the change will only affect any commissions requested after the change. If a price is lowered, you do not get a refund for the change. Sales may happen occasionally and the prices will be updated to reflect the sale. I may stop offering one style or add a new one at any given time.

Always save the art I send you.
Just because I have it uploaded on my sta.sh or elsewhere, does not mean it will be there forever. Always be sure to save it and store it somewhere safe for yourself. I am fine with reposting, so long as credit is given, and if posted onto Toyhou.se my username is Doomy over there too! I am not responsible for lost art, if I have deleted it from the initial link given. If requested I will try and find you the file, but I cannot guarantee I haven't deleted it from my PC as well.

Please do not claim or post commission information on this journal or in the comments of my commission sheet, far to easily are they lost. I prefer them to be sent via Private Message, as they are easier for me to find that way. If you 'claim' in the wrong location, you will not actually get a slot. I do not saves slots if asked elsewhere, as well.

Are can be editted, colored, etc.
Did you commission a sketch or lineart and wish to get it colored it, either by yourself or another artist? That is completely fine, I simply ask that you give proper credit where it is due. As for any other pieces, as mentioned above you are free to repost them (with credit, again) and even edit them for graphics or the like, if you wish. Please, it is your piece and you may do what you wish with it!

Completed pieces may vary from examples given.
Some examples may be older, or I may have improved since then, or learned something new. I find every piece to be a new chance to experiment, learn, and try something new. My styles may vary a tad since, as an artist, I am constantly growing and improving.

By ordering a commissioning you agree to the terms listed.
Failure to read or understand any part of my rules is not my fault. If you miss or forget something, that is fine, but having a fit, or blaming me for not following my rules, or not providing enough information will not be tolerated. I will be as professional as possible about the situation, and expect the same from you. Continued harassment over something that was not my fault will cause you to receive a blacklist and in more extreme cases, a block from all my accounts.

I can and will edit my ToS at any time, without warning. Though I will usually put something at the top stating what has changed.
