I rarely use this platform but I just want to say that if you have furry meetups in your area, please join them and make friends and socialise.
It's been so awesome to attend many furmeets in the UK, I've made so many good friends and met people who I love and cherish as very dear and close friends. :3
Not only it has been great to meet people who I actually vibe and feel comfortable with, it's also great to explore a more offline side of the fandom that I feel a lot of furries need sometimes. Online socialisation is great but it doesn't really fill that void. And conventions are also great but it's not really a good way to find local furries.
I regret not going sooner. So if you have any meets in your local area or anywhere in your country, don't hesitate to go!
(I tend to attend meets in the northwest of England, mainly Manchester. Went to Leeds last week. This week I'm going to Sheffield for a meet. If you're around please say hi! I'm nice!)
