Posted 13 years agoTheres a wild fire a few miles from my house, kinda freaking out since my house is backed by a huge forest, if it jumps the road and hits the forest by my house. I'm fucked.
Dont know how crazy it will get or how scared I should be.

Posted 13 years agoWell had a wee bit of a secret the past few weeks and I figure I can show them now.
I have two new baby boy rats, still nameless and now 8 weeks. Dumbo black poorly rex variegated . I didnt want to post about them till I was sure my older boys would take to them else I'd have to find them another home. Luckly my boys just see them as snuggle buddys who sometimes wake them up with their play fights. Its amazing how well they have all taken to each other. The boy with the squiggle mark and the belly button is like a mini Smee tag along and the other who I've pet named fatty ( i have to do better then that lol) is just like Ni and is often curled up with him under the liner. I couldn't be happier.
Why get more rats ? Rats dont live long...and when you cant be sure of the genes you cant really expect them to make the golden 3 year mark. only a few months separate the ages of my older babys and to lose them all at about the same time is something I dont want to think about. So while my boys are still young I got a young pair of brothers to mix with them. I'm only keeping boys and when my girls cross they will have the whole DCN cage to roam.
But yeah enough sad talk, take a look at them <3

I know this looks like a TL;DR post but really it should answer all of the questions folks might have about my IA images and some rules where added that I didn't think to add till later.
Price
$15 usd for a full body flat color "sketch" (lots of examples below)
+$5 for Extra complex designs (if your wondering if what you want counts as complex just ask)
+$10 Adult or extra character
* A Journal will tell when I'm open and will update as spots are taken.
* I will open in batches of 5.
* I will be posting journals at odd times, 2am 1pm 8pm etc. so no time zone has a advantage.
* One at a time - while I don't mind if someone snags a IA spot twice I think its more fair to only allow one per batch.
* No prelim sketch unless its something I'm not %100 confident about
* I don't do them in order of acceptance. I do them in order of inspiration.
* For extra complex designs I can draw them in a more simple fashion if you want to keep it at $15. ^^
* The more I know the sooner your likely to get yours done. If you have a idea or something nifty about your character please share!
* No spot holding, I'm a real softy so this ones gonna be hard for me personally but I think its fair to give more people a chance at spot, not use a waiting list. I dont like waiting lists since I feel I'm keeping people...well....waiting. ;;

Busy, But In A Good Way.
Posted 13 years agoHave had alot of things taking up most of my time and leaving me hardly able to take time to reply to comments and such. I spend what time i get on my computer drawing poses for commissions mostly.
The rest of my time I'm volunteering at my old charity job. Planting season...so damn..hot...but the little crops we seeded are adorable now. Corn is the best crop btw, first time you try growing it its like "eh corn"..then it gets taller then you and you get so proud XD or I do anyway *cough*
But I'm basically done now so I should be posting more images in the the few days, its hard being speedy when your playing the "hows this ?" "this better?" game. Not that I mind changing my idea images! But time zones can be evil at times. ;;

IA Price
Posted 13 years agoI've been thinking about changing the price of my IA since have been putting alot more in my IA then I had plans at first so that they are now like half priced flats not color sketches they were meant to be so...I'm of upping it to $15
Take in to account that the IA's I do don't charge more for complex chars or "props" like plushies/pets and such.
I thought about $10 for simple chars and $15 for complex but I'm bad at someone asking for a simple and then having to tell them "no that counts as complex". :(

Someone Stole A Part of my Car

Well went from a good day to a horrid one real fast. someone stole the logo off are van. Not just any van. Are '77 Volkswagen van.
Those. Fuckers.
It happened last night it seems,and some little shits likely real proud of himself right now. But now the most iconic part of my fucking van is gone and not easily replaced and I'm in fucking tears over having someone walk up in the middle of the night walk in my front yard and steal something like that off my car.My first van. Ruined. You cant get parts for these things and the logos are really hard to get for the year I need due to little asses who cant have the car or the van so they have to go and rape other peoples cars just for the image of it. Nothing like that iconic hippy spirit like outright fucking theft.
And even if i did get a new one, even if i did find one somehow...i couldnt fucking use it...and that really really really sucks.

Posted 14 years agoMy moods been less then great the past few days but I've made hammocks for my babies and never really showed the boat I got the boys a few weeks back.
My girls chew, hence they cant have nice things... D: but now that I have a sewing machine I can make them almost nice things that I can replace with just a bit of effort..and fabric lol.
BUT heres a video of my babies, Kitten was in the long tube fail hammock chilling so she doesn't make a appearance.

Quit my job. Ran around looking for a new one, found one!...but its temp :(
So I've been working more days then I planed both to make a good impression and to make some much needed funds.
I'll still end up working weekends but it also is a "if we need you we will call you" on my days off. I don't care for the randomness but ill live.
So yeah, I'll be replying to week old comments and such XD sorry I hadn't time to sit down and reply before now.

Been on the edge of getting a puppy. A cute little bi-blue sheltie boy But the person who owned the stud (the breeder we got Kaiser from) had first pick so if she didn't pick him he was all mine
