Your Exclusive Content Pirated (and How to Fix it on 70-80%)
General | Posted 2 months agoHey, if you’re frustrated that your paid content ends up on Kemono.cr, Telegram channels and public archives - read this. I promise it will make sense.
Most “pirates” aren’t trying to hurt you. The real reason it’s happening: A huge chunk of people who leak your exclusives used to be paying subscribers. Especially Russian-speaking fans. Since 2022 Russia has been cut off from SWIFT, PayPal, Stripe, and foreign Visa/Mastercard. A lot of them literally cannot pay on Patreon anymore, even if they want to. The remaining options are shady middlemen who often scam them right before renewal. So instead of subscribing, they go to free archives. It’s not because they’re “evil” - it’s because the payment system broke.
What actually works in 2026 (3 methods that thousands of Western creators are using):
1 Add a Boosty page - the best (and easiest) bridge to Russian fans.
This is currently the #1 solution for Western creators.Boosty is the Russian Patreon. Russians pay easily with local cards and methods.
You register in 2 minutes, duplicate your exclusives there, and get paid normally (PayPal, bank transfer, Wise - whatever you use).
Set regional pricing: for Russia/CIS you can charge 2–3× cheaper than on your main platform (without lowering prices for US/EU fans).
*Many Patreon's creators who added Boosty in 2025-2026 brought back (or even increased) their Russian revenue. It literally turns pirates back into paying subscribers.
2 Use delayed public release.
Keep new exclusives locked for paying subscribers for 2–4 weeks (while they make you the most money), then release them publicly with a clear note:
“This post will become free on March 15th.”
Fans who can’t pay right now will wait for the legal version instead of rushing to archives. Piracy drops a lot.
3 Stop fighting pirates the wrong way.
Full-screen watermarks, heavy blurring, mass DMCA strikes - these things only annoy your most loyal (and previously paying) Russian fans.
Ironically, many leaks come from them because they got burned by payment middlemen.
Bonus reality check
Some creators noticed that leaks actually bring new people to their Boosty page. They try the content for free, like your style, and then subscribe legally.
Free marketing.
In 2026 piracy isn’t really “theft” anymore - it’s a payment accessibility problem.
Fix the payment issue with Boosty + delayed releases and most leaks will disappear. Try adding Boosty for just one month. 90% of creators who did it said the same thing: “I wish I’d started earlier.”

Sad spring mood/ Memories of those who are no longer around
General | Posted a year agoIt's been raining all day outside my window and it's cloudy, but the grass hasn't turned green yet, and this weather is so depressing outside... Ptomutcho is literally a sad autumn.
And I decided to talk about such a topic as the death of artists.
How many artists have died in your lifetime that you like, that you read, that you might have talked to and been friends with, or just bought art?
I lost 2 artists, whom I just read like an ordinary ordinary follower and liked each of their new art, even if it wasn't drawn by them.
This is Cetas https://www.furaffinity.net/user/cetas/
He was a great person to talk to.
This is Creature_Unknown https://www.furaffinity.net/user/creatureunknown/
Although I didn't communicate with him, I left a couple of comments praising his work, but I liked watching the events that he did and the pleasant drawing more. I wanted to order art from him, but then I didn't have the money and I didn't know how, I was 22 years old at the time (2022).
The last person I know and whom you know is Dragoneer https://www.furaffinity.net/user/dragoneer/
Founder and former owner of the Furaffinity website. I only talked to him for a few hours in the middle of 2022, when the site was blocked in Russia under the pretext that it would be banned when all user data from the Russian Federation was returned (which he did not do and the site is still officially blocked) And for that, I am grateful to him.
And now I'm more confused that these accounts were bursting with tearful comments about how they would be missed, some even drew fan art, but they would never see or hear it. For me, this serves as an example, and I conclude that it is necessary to give all this praise to artists while they are alive, so that they will be pleased.
So praise those you read, remember those who are no longer with us. Enjoy your short life, because she is alone.

Ask Book Jangels
General | Posted 3 years agoDecided to try this thing.
There will be no art, but if you want to ask the Book about something, I don't think that will be an obstacle.
Just say, Bookinia is not a separate character, but only another form of Book.
I will be happy to answer your questions. I will try to answer all the questions and not those that I like.
