That...pretty much sums it up. Sometime this afternoon weekend, I'll be trying to upload all the fun things and sweet gifts while I continue to sort out my personal messes.

So much going on. Work being work, managing bills and expenses, trying to get commissioned artists their money for art, struggling with Mighty No. 9's DLC story with Ray (super fun, but tough and demanding), keeping our house in order, playing note catch-up and just...my goodness, what is up with this month?

If I seem out of it, I apologize. I am. I am very out of it. I've got tons of stuff flooding my mind all at once, and it's gonna take some time to get it sorted out.


....okay, now that THAT mess is out of the way, here's a random bit of news that's good. I'm considering grabbing a Twitch account, if I can figure out how to stream my games on my PS3. If I do decide to do that, would anyone be interested in watching me play various games? I don't really know a whole lot about Twitch, but...I think it'd be a fun thing to get into. That way, people can see the crazy stuff I get into with my games, and we can all have fun...probably at my expense, though. I can die a lot in some games, but in silly or weird ways. ^_^;

Just a random lil' journal. V and I beat Mighty No. 9 today. Fuuuuuuck that final boss fight, tho. The difficulty curve of the game, in general, is actually a bit more than I thought it'd be, what with a lot of backers wanting a challenging game, but...wowzers. Between the FB, Cryosphere, and some of the technical aspects of a few stages, that bar is rather high. Still, we beat the thing, we did the dance, and now I'm checking out the optional stuff.
All in all, I'd be willing to give it a 7/10. If you have it, let me know what you think of it. Be as fair as possible, of course. No shitposting. I've seen enough of that on the interwebs to last me for a month.


Oh, random news. I'll be doing a little bit of uploading this week. Maybe. Hopefully. Fingers crossed.

I just got my key, and I'm looking forward to playing my game; a game that, despite upsets and delays, I still supported. I'm not gonna go on a whole blind love revolution or anything... Plenty of other people can do that for me, and probably already have. I'm just happy that, despite everything, I could help be a part of something big. Let people say what they will... The only thing that matters to me today is playing a game I've been waiting patiently for, and I know I'm gonna have fun.

Not only did I see the acclaimed trash trailer for Mighty No. 9 (Deep Silver, what are you doing??), but I also caught wind of Capcom's new 2017 Megaman anime character design. Aki Light? Pizza explosions? This is not a good way to start the month.

I just have one question: WHY??

I've been out of the loop this week, due to the attack and reset. Lately, I've been hearing a lot about this Furry Network site, but I know very little about it, like when it was made and why a lot of people are flocking towards it. Sounds like another Weasyl... What I want to know is if it's worth going there or not. Some users claim it's a nice site, while others say its layout and search capabilities are shit.

I don't know if I'll be migrating with the rest of the herd without good reason...so if anyone here has info, I'd really appreciate it. Very important note: I won't be able to check out the Furry Network site for a while, so do not simply redirect me there and say "check it out".

FA is up and running again, I've got a new password, and now I'm just catching back up on what I missed.
I'll be resubmitting a few pieces I got before, and some new stuff, sometime this week. Hopefully.
I'm also going to try implementing a new strategy to get myself writing more, like I want to. This strategy should work, provided I don't get too bogged down with work or too distracted with "Insert Game Title Here", but still...I hope it does work. It drives me nuts to be stressed, but it's even worse of a feeling to not "feel" like writing when I really want to write.

Anyways, feel free to ask me stuff while I've got this journal up. I'll try to catch any comments I can when time allows. It's good to be back, even though I never left.

...honestly, I can't really explain or rightly justify what's been going on these days...or these months, in this case. I just have not been able to get motivated, despite my best efforts and various tactics. My writing is falling by the wayside, and I'm very worried about this. It's not that I don't want to continue writing, or that I find it particularly difficult, but with the combined distractions in my life, I either don't have the time I want (when I have the desire), or I lack the drive for it (when I have the time). It's clearly affecting more than just my stories and such... To all of you out there, dear friends and new acquaintances both, I don't want to keep apologizing for my lacking presence. I refuse to give up, and truly want to get back to where I was (being able to chat with you all more regularly AND work on my writing, coloring, etc), but...at the same time, I'm at a loss as to how to consistently make that stick,

On top of all of this, I've had sporadic back pains that have kept me from doing much. Hell, sometimes it's enough to keep me from wanting to play video games and such at home. I've always had an irregular spine, and have been prone to back issues over the years, but it's NEVER gotten this bad, for this long. Sometimes it's my lower back, and sometimes it's beneath my shoulder blades, but whenever that pain rises up, it's like a hot, burning ache that won't go away for several hours. I'm looking into seeing a chiropractor, but I don't know how much good it will do, or if I can even afford anything like that.

I'm sorry to blurt all of this out, especially if it sounds like I'm whining, but I figured that those who have been concerned about me deserve to know the details explained. I don't like pushing things back, like commissions (which I WILL finish) and my stories, and I don't like complaining about my personal life publicly, but...well, it is what it is. If anyone reading this has any helpful advice on improving my situation or otherwise resolving my current issues, I would really appreciate some feedback. I don't want to keep going back and forth in this; I want to move forward, and take great strides towards my future goals. I want to keep trucking along, instead of puttering out every few miles.

First off, I apologize that I've still been so behind on work and updates, as I've been dealing with more stuff. I won't go too deeply into it, sufficed to say it's mostly due to my job, my back, and my lack of energy this month. Regardless, I'm still doing what I can and thinking of you all.

Secondly, Merry Christmas (or whatever you other crazy peeps celebrate)! I wish I had time to tell every one of you separately, and in a more detailed and loving manner, so I hope you can forgive me if I haven't.

On a side note, things might be a bit...kinder on me, come the beginning of next year, so I'll have more of a chance to be online for a change. Hopefully. Thank you all for putting up with me during this time. ^_^;

...I think I'm alright now. Things just got crazy frustrating lately, and I apologize for being so disconnected and quiet. I'm starting to get back into things online now, and I'll try to resume communications with you all on Skype soon (for those that have been wondering and waiting).

This sparked fluttery memories in my heart from when my Emmy was making her way to move in with me not long ago, so I can't help but want to share this and try to help these two in any way I can.

Case in point,  Kanevex is wanting to fly over to his girlfriend to start a new, wonderful chapter in their lives together, and he is opening art commissions in order to gather funds for the trip! In other news, I uh...I found a kitty on my front porch this evening. She seems like she's been domestically owned. Young, clean, and very affectionate, I hope I'm able to find her original owner, or find a proper home for her, as we sadly can't keep her due to our rental agreement. I'll post more in a scrap submission later.

...she kinda looks like  starstorm's kitty, Atrele, except I think she's part maine coon, or however you spell it. It's hard for us to tell.

I'd love to have some friends on here to play FFXIV with. I used to be on Ultros, but decided I wanted to try this other server (mostly because it was the only one that would let me make a new character at the time). So who here plays, and on what server are ya?

As of a few days ago, I managed to get into my own place again. A whole, long, arduous year has passed since my good friend Jax let me stay with him, and now I'm so happy to have my own house again! Many thanks to Jax and Mae for being so considerate and kind during my time of need, and also many thanks to my friends and followers for being supportive this whole time.

Now I can sloooooowly work towards getting my internet back so I can more effectively keep in touch with everyone, including my commissioners. I haven't forgotten about you and your orders. Rest assured, they'll be done soon, then I can return to work on my main stories and occasionally take on new commissions. This is gonna be a busy month...

I've just been insanely busy and stressed this month.
New place, new job hunt, and trying to restore connectivity.
I can't even get a reliable signal out here with my old phone, so even note checking is difficult. I'll get things worked out soon, though...
