A Perilous Quest
Posted 14 years agoThis is just a teaser from one of my long standing Rps with one of my very good friends. 
MysteryBBQ this is by far one of my favorite rps i do, worded out amazing and very long lasting. The story here has been really fun to do, i just wish there was an easy way to trace it all the way back and have the entire thing as a format so i could read it anytime. Anyways, this part was done recently and i think it is a good light summary of what has happened so far. tell us what you think!
Velast blinked as the old monk put his fingers on her head. She wanted to swat them away but she knew that if she insulted the monks they would never give the key willingly. Then there was a bright flash of light, it washed out her vision and almost made her stumble back. Whatever magic it was radiated out with a burst, knocking the others in chest just enough to force the breath from them for a moment. The saurian woman didn't notice that though, she couldn't see it or feel it, but instead her vision burned a bright white and it almost felt like she was flying... no, falling... or somehow somewhere in between the two, just moving through empty air far qucker then she could imagine and yet without moving at all. All the others would see is her standing there with the monk touching her brow, a bright light shining from where each finger made contact. Suddenly images began to fly though Velast's mind.
She saw the the small desert village from when she was young, stealing bread from the market to survive. The town faded and in it's place a tall city came into view, sandstone and mud brick with canopies of reds and oranges draped over the alleyways to keep out the burning desert sun. She was older there, adolescent. She saw herself pushing through the crowded streets, fleeing form a pair of guards who were shouting angrily for people to get out of their way. The city faded to night and she was on the rooftops now, again she was older, nearly grown now. She and a pair of others were running along the top of the city leaping from one roof to another, then leaping and climbing down when they reached the courtyard of wealthy home, the other two exiting with their steal, Velast grabbed by a household guard, finally breaking free of his grasp and following after the others. Celebrating. A different part of the city now and Velast looking the same age she actually is. Again she's fleeing from soldiers, she has blades in her hands now and she's fighting them off, but there are too many. One lands a blow and knocks her out. She awakes in a cell, a man comes on a frees her, but he's not who she expected. He doesn't untie her but instead carries her out. She's in a different building now, still bound but now looking up at a grotesquely fat man with tattoos and wearing gold. He's laughing and she's raging, shouting at him and screaming, trying to claw out of her cuffs. At the hand order a person dressed like a dishonoured mage arches from behind. Tow guards grab her and hold her still. THere's a searing pain as the wizard pressing a tinly burning coil of some silvery metal to the back of her neck, burning a spell into her skin to make sure she keeps to the quest the merchant has ordered her to complete. When the metal is emoted a faint scar is seen, but quickly heals over. There's no scar left but the spell still lingers. The room fades and again she's out int he desert. There's a rumble and a cry and she runs. Three giant sand worms and someone there fighting them. The worms are killed, the other person is Aleen. That night, their first time together. The coast now, boarding a ship... Rei's ship. A scene of mutiny, then later an explosion. Killing a dragon, fighting a town infested with ratkin. The university of mages, stealing their key. A city in the treetops, a council of bird-men, then a maze in the forest. Up north now, a city of orcs and fighting in pits. Heading south, finally reuniting. A friend nearly killed. More travel, and then the temple... but then there was more. Sudden pain, not physical but as if a part of her had been ripped away. Her vision was red rage now and there was the same giant snowy seen from her dream."

Posted 14 years agoWell, I move bases this friday. (at 530 AM! >.=.<) and as such I will be without internet again. this time I don't know how long I will be out, as the base I am going to is supposed to be total hell. I will try to get on as soon as possible, but even if I do, there is no guarantee that I will be on for long. So in case I don't see you guys for a while, good luck and know that I will always be thinking of you all.

Posted 14 years agoOkay, so I was just talking to someone I met today and they really need some help. I was planning on doing this tomorrow so my last journal could get a bit more attention, but I dont think that will happen. so I am putting this up now. They have been having trouble with trolls and a-holes here on FA, and I don't want them to have a soured view of us all. She has a few commissions up to help get a new tablet for better art and art school, but if you can't do that, at least go and alk to them, introduce yourself. I am going to write another Having Fun story in which Fyth goes a bit crazy on a group of people. Basically a giant orgy is going to happen along with a bunch of other things. If you want to see your character in it, leave a comment here like this.

I am back
Posted 14 years agoI am back more or less from Basic military training for the air force. For a while I ill have limited acess, but i should be up and running soon. I have chapter 1 of Advent of Sorrow written out, i just have to type it on the comp and post it. so look forward to that. I will answer anything I can, but it feels great to be back. Love ya all! oh and i know I will get this one fast, but my job in the Air Force is EOD.

Posted 15 years agoWell people, it is almost time. in a little over two weeks I will be headed out for air force basic training. that means I will not be on for about two months, maybe longer depending on how fast I can get a new comp and internet service. I will still have my phone, and if all goes well, granddragoon will be getting texts and we will talk. hopefully he will act as a sort of liason for me to you all and Keep you informed, but that is his decision. Other things of note:
1) I know some are waiting for the last chapter of Advent of Despair. I am putting together ideas, but i will have it up before I leave.
2) my laptop right now has a Virus called Antivirus scan that refuses to go away. I have avg free and it will not catch it. if I don't run my comp in safe mode, it will not work. I have already ran multiple scans both in normal and safe mode, and it still will not catch it. If anyone has any ideas, I would be very happy! Thanks!

Advent of Despair
Posted 15 years agoI know a lot of people have been waiting for chapter three of Advent of Despair chapter 3, but I just have not had the drive to write more of it lately. I have about two pages done and a bit more, but i haven't had the motivation to write more. I will try to, but I am just not sure if I can force myself with no motivation. right now I need a motivation machine to help pick me up.... so again sorry, just making this to let you know I haven't forgotten and that some of it is done.

The meaning of characters
Posted 15 years agohmm, maybe I should call this the memein of caraters. oh well. basically, I got to thinking lately and decided to post up what each of my characters mean, like how the represent me. I don't know, itvis just an idea that popped into my head.
Rei:
Rei is te cosest to me and represents how I want to be in the future, my ideal self s t speak. in many ways, she is me and I am her. My oldest character, she is made from all of my experiances, happy and sad.
Saihess:
The twin to Rei, she is another tha is close to how I am, but more of a personification of my more carnal desires, my lusts and fetishes as wel as my tendancy t be more submissive. she plays out more as happy and carefree, rarely touching the unpleasurable side of life.
Crianade:
Anotherof my oler charaters, Crianade is one of two males to my main cast. heoften has children around. this charater is my desire to know, to learn all that I can, and to help wherever possble. he is not inherantly evil or good, but his actions often lea to one or the other. he is more of my knowledge and neutraity than anything else.

ahh yes, Felix, the crowd favorite. I m sure many people want to know about her. except for here on FA, she always started as female tha was cursed. Felix is my angst and worry about joining the military soon, my feeling that I am trapping myself in a fate I wont be free from ever. My worry that I will be stuck in a fate I have no conrol over but will hopefully come to enjoy. she is my worry and caution, as well as my release from fear.
Aleen:
Aleen is the antithesis to Felix. she is completely free and is examples my want and desire for adventure, for something new and different from the world. She jumps in had first never carin about the danger and is just out to enjoy life. she is my desire to do what I want and just to be free from everything,
Triana:
Triana takes root in a differet form, shi is my desire to feel all forms of pleasure, to get to know every form of good feelings and safety. shi isnever nar any hardship and works to get rid of other's suffering. Shi takes all forms of plasure with open arms and enjoys what good things life has to offer.
Fyth:
Fyth is my fun side, the side tha wishes to be powerful and to dominate all others. she represents my will to be at the top and all I am willing to do to get there. she has an inherant lack of concern for people she uses to get what she wants, andalso represents the danger of such actions.
Kyslin:
Kyslin is a rathr new side. she is my desire to do nothing, to have others command and control, my want to relax and help others enjoy what they want to enjoy. she has little to no will over what others tell, but knows she has the ability to stand up for herself, she just chooses not to.
Istalis:
I must say, Istalis is the hard one to place. I think she is more specified to my enjoyment of the air since she has a thing for birds and her ability. She is my desire to enjoy the skies, but my sorrow of being trapped on the ground. I recently wrote a story called having fun i as some of you know since you commented. and as you know unless you skipped and read the dirty parts, I plan to make this a series. so here is what I want to ask you.
For chapter 2 I plan on bringing in more characters and showing more of Fyth's abilities, but here is the catch. I want to know who you guys want to see in it! so here is what we will do, I am on pretty often, so I will check this a lot, but I want to hear suggestions on who you want to see in chapter two as one of fyth's victims. so here is the format to make a suggestion in the comment section of this journal.

that is all. so because I am nice, I will do a sample for you with the one guaranteed character.

Bordayus you are. Just read the questions and answer them truthfully, otherwise it is no fun!
After eah answer there is a number, record the number and add them all up when you are done. Post your total score up along with any other comments you might have. when at lease 5 people have finished the quiz and posted their scores up, I will post the results for your score and you can find out which character you are.
