And my life gets shittier yet...[Rant/Need Help]
Posted 14 years agoWell, my Christmas vacation started out perfect. Got to see my amazing mate, spend a wonderful week with him and his family. Then came Christmas eve, and I had to go home. That was hard enough, having to say goodbye, not knowing exactly when I was going to be able to see him next considering I've barely got money to pay for the apartment I'm currently living in.
Then I got home to my parents. Christmas was ruined due to my dad being a total dick, deciding that he wanted to make things about himself, blame me for everything, nearly making me leave, saying fuck Christmas. We made up the next day, but seriously, staying there was tense as hell.
Then on our anniversary, my mate moved across the country, making everything feel so much worse than it should have been. I mean really...
I decided to spend some time at a friend's house for the New Year's holiday, so that was a bit of a bright side to it all, despite everything that had happened already. Then it was time to go back to my house, which was meh considering the fact that my dad was already getting majorly depressed from the fact that I was about to head back to my apartment for the new semester at college. Don't I get a break?
Apparently not. Got back to my apartment, spent a couple days with another friend that came to visit because I needed it, and then had to say goodbye. AGAIN. Lonely much?
Yesterday my roommates and I received the letter in the mail as to whether or not we were going to renew our apartment lease. I had had plans that I was going to renew my contract because both of my roommates told me they were going to move out at the end of this lease. Yeah, right.
Let's tell a little story about my one roommate. He's a 32-year-old male from Bangladesh that only JUST got a girlfriend, and that was AFTER he stole her from another guy. He's been bringing her to the apartment just about every night, which is annoying as shit considering the fact that we can hear everything that goes on in their room due to the fact that the walls are thin, and the vents are connected between rooms. On top of that, he thinks he has rights over the entire apartment. He screws with the heating, turning it up to 75-80 degrees F in the apartment (killing my other roommate and I with heat), and then when he leaves the apartment with his girlfriend, he turns the heater off, or down, even if my room and I are still in the apartment. Like what the fuck? And then when we try to talk to him about it, he sits there and tells us it wasn't him. If it wasn't him, me or our other roommate, was it his girlfriend? Ask him that and he bites our heads off.
The entire fridge and freezer are filled with his shit. We have three people sharing a fridge/freezer combo, and he decides to take up 3/4 of the fridge, and 4/5 of the freezer, leaving next to no room for any of mine or my roommate's shit. We confront him about this, and he takes a major ass attitude, telling us that he needs the room, he's not throwing anything out. Uhh, where the fuck do I put my food?
He never respects silence, or sleeping times. He'll show up at the apartment at 2am, turn the TV on loud enough that I have to put ear plugs in to be able to sleep, and then laughs and gets drunk with his girlfriend. I sleep in the room between his and my other roommate's, and even my other roommate has trouble sleeping because of the noise. Does this tell you anything?
Now how about the kitchen in general? Even though it's a tiny thing, I have been able to share it perfectly fine with my other roommate when it comes to cooking. Him? He uses the entire kitchen, to the point I don't even want to go out there to get a drink because it's "flirt central" for him and his girlfriend, and there's no freakin' room. He used to be spoiled with a kitchen he used all on his own. Well fuck off, you've got two other roommates living here too.
He complains when there's a pile of dishes in the sink, because it lessens the room we have to work in. He bitches when a pot he needs is dirty in the sink, and makes the person that used it come out and clean it then and there. What does he do? He leaves half his shit in the sink, and uses pots and pans, leaves them dirty in the sink, and leaves. Fair? I think not.
Now, I'm not even close to being prejudiced, but I'm sick of being treated like the women back in his country. I'm tired of being forced to pay the money for when he jacks the damn heater up, and then forced to freeze my ass off when he goes off. I'm pissed that I have nowhere to put my damn food. This is just too much.
I was told that I would have the apartment to myself at the end of this lease year. Well, today he comes into the kitchen, while my other roommate and I are trying to cook food, and he tells me he's probably going to stay in the apartment, and he thinks it would be in OUR best interests if I find another place to stay at the end of the lease. Excuse me? He says he wasn't kicking me out, but since he has been living here longer than me, he's staying, and if anyone's moving, it's me.
So my choices are...stick around and deal with his douchebag ways, or find a new place to live. Well this just screws everything up. I was having enough trouble trying to save up the money to be able to visit my mate since he moved to the opposite side of the country. But now I have to find out where the hell I'm going to get the money to move to a new place with a possibly higher rent, figure out what I'm doing to get to classes every day during the next year of school, all of which consists of money, money, money.
Where am I going to get that kind of money? Someone help me...

Sorry for the long ass rant...

Posted 14 years agoIf any of you could either post a journal, or advertise that I'm taking inks and coloring them for rather cheap prices, it would be helpful. I need to make some money for Christmas presents, and I just can't seem to get anyone to commission me because no one sees my profile @_@
Any help I thank you for <333333
