Nothing has changed content-wise, however we have fixed a suite of bugs and issues that were reported by our players. You can refer to the changelog down below for the full list.
The main difference is that we have de-cluttered the save menu interface by moving the save/load/delete buttons on the saves themselves. We also addressed the annoying bug on Android that would make the buttons default to acting on the very first save slot in the list. Overall, the menu should feel much easier to use now.
We have also addressed an important issue reported by a lot of players, which is that the game would confuse players upon reaching the end of the playable content. With this version, the game now returns to the main menu at the end of day 5.
Other bugfixes focus around glitches, crashes and art assets not showing up correctly along some parts of the game. All in all, the game should be more stable with this patch.
Changelog
- Fixed problem with game not returning to main menu after finishing playable content (day 5 prisoner line problem).
- Moved save/load/delete buttons on the save menu to the slots and fixed their behaviour. Also de-cluttered the menu, allowing 3 save slots to be fully displayed.
- Fixed a bug which sometimes caused the game to crash when clicking through the game rapidly.
- Fixed an issue with backgrounds sometimes not refreshing if skipping was activated during a background transition.
- Fixed minor bug that would reset the "Mute all" audio setting whenever the options menu was opened.

Identity VN Progress Update May 2019
Posted 6 years agoHello everyone! Today, we'd like to talk more in depth about the progress we've made for the past month or so, since the latest build was released.
The first thing we'd like to mention though, is that May was a very busy month for pretty much everyone in our team. For different reasons, of course, but the point is that we couldn't spend as much time working on this game as we may have wanted.
However, we still managed to do quite a few things. Most notably is that our writers have primarily devoted their time to creating more dating path content for some of the characters. Expect the next couple of builds to add dating options for Garreth, Brymror, Cedrik and Sybian, and perhaps others to come.
Folsky, our sprite artist, has also finally completed Stralf's default sprite, which means that for the first time in almost two years, you'll be able to see this little kobold in full detail!
We've also completed some more music pieces, such as the main hotel theme, a VIP bar background track and also Draxima's theme. These will add to the music already present in the latest build.
We've heard your wishes about adding more music to our game, and we now finally have a musician that we feel confident with. His name is Sampling Kid. He has been involved with quite a few other game and animation projects, making excellent tracks for them. You can find his compositions outside of Identity on his bandcamp and YouTube channel. Expect to see more and more pieces make their way in the game builds from now on.
Those keen-eyed of you may have also noticed that we've been gradually updating our Patreon home page as we want it to be as clean and to the point as possible. We've reworded and rearranged sections of the project description, updated our goals and rewards and posted a list of all the sprites we've been making up until now. The next step will be changing the far outdated Patreon banner and logo art, which we've posted WIPs of here.
Progress on the Godot port of Identity is also advancing steadily. The interface can now be fully navigated using only the keyboard, and the next things to be added will be sound support and a complete options menu.
Overall, we feel much more confident now about the direction of the project than we were half a year ago. Our two current writers have done an incredible job of turning the poor story construct we were left with from our previous writer into a worthwhile endeavour. We hope you feel the same, and as always we're happy to read what you think about it in the comments!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Posted 7 years agoAlas, another year comes to an end. It is a time when everyone cuddles up together and enjoys a bit of rest with their families and loved ones.
Our team is also celebrating Christmas and New Year's and we're really happy to share that love and appreciation with you guys as well!
We want to take this opportunity to thank our fans, followers and patrons for being so amazing and for continuing to support what we do.
The Identity project has been going on for almost a year and a half and it's all been thanks to your generous donations and support.
Our journey, though already long and tangled, has barely just begun. 2019 will truly be the year where our story will start taking shape.
We hope you'll enjoy what we'll have in store for you in the year to come! <3

We are now Juicy Drake Studios!
Posted 7 years agoHey guys! We are excited to announce that we have finally found an official name for our team!
From now on, we're going to be referring to ourselves as Juicy Drake Studios!
Now, this is going to become our publisher name for when we release our game on Steam.
The 'Studios' part is sort of informal though, as we're not a proper studio but more like a small indie team of freelancers.
Nevertheless, the name sounds cooler that way, and who knows, perhaps it might grow to become a proper studio at some point! :3
We actually drew inspiration directly from our game for the name. 'Juicy Drake' is the brand of gum Cedrik loves chewing on.
We thought that it represents a nice and sleek analogy for what we do here. It sounds somewhat unconventional and definitely *meaningful* for the like-minded, but otherwise it's a pretty safe and cool nickname which reflects what we're all about, dragons! :P

Posted 8 years agoQuick update to point out that we've now reached exactly 100 followers on this FA page! That's amazing, and you all are amazing!
Seriously, we're so happy that our project received so much attention in so little time! Just 2 months ago, we were launching the first demo of Identity.
We had no followers, no patrons, nothing. We started off barefooted, with nothing but the demo, some screenshots, sprites and update pictures to share.
Yet, just through posting them on sites like FA, e621, imgur and u18chan, and keeping in touch with interested people, this is where we stand today.
We appreciate and listen to all your feedback and criticism and are thankful for the support you all have shown us over the course of these two months!
Developing this visual novel is like a dream coming true, bit by bit! And we're glad we can share this dream with all of you! <3
