Hello everyone, today's lesson is about personal boundaries.

I get that furries are a much more huggy bunch than most, and I'm totally okay with that. I hug people by way of greeting, it's not that big a deal. However.

Lately a lot of furs seem to think that interacting with me in the same way i interact with my closest friends is okay. It really isn't, and it's kind of creepy.

I love all you guys dearly, but I really don't think it's okay for furs I barely know and have barely spoken to to come up and try to grope me, or lick me, or bite me, or call me a slut or a whore or whatever.

If you're not sure about whether or not I consider you a close friend, you probably aren't one. It may seem super-bitchy, but I'm honestly starting to feel really uncomfortable about it at meets and sunday sessions, so it needs to be said.

Well, if you were around a few months ago you would have seen that journal I posted about my Dad cheating on my mum and deciding he wanted to go seek his fortune in America. You'd think we'd be over it by now but he just keeps telling us he'll come back, but then finds more excuses to stay where he is. It's really weird cos I thought I'd gotten over it, but then he says he's coming home and I realise I do want to see him, but then he decides nope. And mum's kind of unstable and keeps flipping her shit at random things (although this is understandable).

I'm not sure who to talk to, and whenever I want to say something in real life it just doesn't seem to work (i don't tend to talk about my feelings a lot)
But I guess I just feel like I need to get it out somehow. Here seems like as good a place as any.

For the past few weeks while this has been happening I felt really horrible, like the person who brought me up just decided he didn't want me anymore. Then today, when he told us he'd been 'detained' again I got three texts from three different furs who I consider to be some of my good friends, and they were all ridiculous and funny and made me realise that you guys are the greatest, loveliest people in the universe and I have no reason to feel alone.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm going through a rough patch at the moment but having friends and bitches and hoes (see: Cass and Coolieo) like the melbfurs has really helped and I love you guys.

So anyway today I hung out with my cousin, and we visited a bunch of local secondhand shops, and I FOUND A GODDAMN TIGER SUIT. It's a touch too small for me (the legs dont go all the way down) but you know what, it adds to my awkwardness.

You know when you're really little and you look up to your parents like they're they coolest people ever? I always looked up to my cousin XD

It's pretty much always been me, him and his sister against the rest of my extended family, who are all like my big fat greek wedding but chinese and not nearly as hilarious. So tonight him and his gf were like OMG WEAR THAT TIGER SUIT NAO, and I turned up to one of our giant family dinners in it. Everyone was baffled beyond words. As in, they pretty much chose to ignore it cos they had no idea what to say XD

Today was the last time I'm going to see my dad for a very long time. I can't even remember what the last thing I said to him was.
so like, a few weeks ago he came back from America, after pretending to go on a business trip. Turns out he was having an affair. Several, actually. Some of them were as young as me.
It's just really weird to have someone you thought loved you all your life suddenly turn into a completely different asshole cocksucker. So I guess I'm not upset to see him leave. He's going to America again anyway, and I don't really want to think about what he's going to do there.
So if I seem a little more black-kitty-ish and less rainbow-ish as of late, that's why.
