Dear IMVU developers:
Posted 9 years agoWe want to remind people they can use the groups gallery as a way to advertise their catalogs.

So far we have only had one developer choose to advertise through the groups gallery and we would very much like to have more. We really want the group to showcase a variety of developers in order to help members see the wide range of furry products on IMVU.

How to Advertise through this groups Gallery
Posted 9 years agoWhile this account does regularly add submissions to favorites to create a gallery people can go through, we also offer to ability to give us an image to put directly into our gallery.
These are the rules:
-The image must be to advertise your catalog, not a single furset
-The image must show at least three different examples of your work
-The image must be General Audiences appropriate
-Only one image/advertisement per person
-Must be sent to us through a note along with a link to your catalog, link to image, and anything you wish to have written in the description of the submission
You can update your advertisement (if you want to) no more than once a month for new images and once a week for new descriptions, to do so you must send us a note with the following:
-link to the new advertisement image and/or give us a new written description
-link to your old advertisement in our gallery
Any new images will get a re-upload with the old submission deleted, while a new description will only get the old submission edited.
Any new image must have at least two new example works shown made after the original advertisement. The reason for this is because it will pop up in peoples notifications, the change must be significant enough to warrant it.

IMVU Creator Spotlights?
Posted 10 years agoI am thinking of doing a monthly furry Creator spotlight.
I would take suggestions from watchers of this group as to who to spotlight.
I would make a selection from the names given as well as a few I already know. Selecting randomly.
Then I would contact them on IMVU and interview them.
I would make an image showing some of their latest furs and make it a submission on this group.
The submission description would link to their catalog on IMVU and any other sites the creator would like (such as if they have a furaffinity) and have the interview.
Does this sound like something you guys would be interested in?
If so, what would be some questions you have for some furry devs on IMVU so that I may prepare interview questions.

It's a group for furries who use IMVU to meet and share experiences, outfits, creations, or other things furry related.
So it's great for people to show off their creations or outfits they have put together, make new friends, or give any kind of IMVU related advice!
Being on facebook allows more peer-to-peer interaction as a group than here on FA, as it allows everyone to post content.

So I would like to encourage people to look at the listings and see if you wanna suggest anything to be added. You do not have to know a person personally in order to suggest they be added to the furry dev listing, so you can suggest any of your favorite devs on imvu.
You can also suggest added questions to the FAQ!
Additionally I am considering making a few text tutorials to talk about earning credits on imvu and how to put together a good furry outfit. Let me know what you think about that.

What can I do on IMVU?
On IMVU you can meet new people, role play, dress up your avatar, or anything else you can imagine (as long as it followes the IMVU ToS of course).
Can I be a furry on IMVU?
Yes, you can! IMVU has a decent sized furry community and many of the community members are developers who create items for the IMVU catalog. Meaning you can purchase outfits to have a furry look.
Can I be my fursona on IMVU?
Yes, there is plenty of furry devs who accept commissions for custom made fursets.
Will IMVU cost money to use?
