ones a kinda classical piano piece. it sounds kinda dark
the other is kinda a techno song. love it though.

so im cleaning my room and that. ROYALLY sucks.
but hopefully it'll all be clean by tomorrow. right a moment ago i was working on well, my floor. but also my desk. after i get those done im going to get on the closet. and im getting rid of my table in there to make room for the bureau. the im going to move my bed desk and tv around! xD.
maybe i'll finish before the night is through and i can get zach to help me change it around!
i changed my florr plan a bit though xD bed will be under the window, desk on the opposite side of the bed and tv to the left wall by the closet (left when you enter the room)
and yeah. it'll free up some space. MAYBE FOR SOME BEAN BAG CHAIRS! that would be AWESOME. i better get back to cleaning if i want to get the moving around done tonight!

but anyway more onto the point.
i'd like to talk about homosexuality and homophobia.
now,
i'm questioning my orintation myself which, for you, is meaningless info.
but im just trying to give you a back drop to what im gonna say er rather why.
and well in my house, and in this town, everyone is...narrow minded...
ever hear the phrase; "Straight until proven gay" that describes how people will assume you are straight until well, you prove it to them? xD well uh everyone here is of that mindset. except some people. great people really. well...i thought it was bad, but then i heard a story...of how one of my peers almost got killed.
i never knew.
but anyway, he is gay and well some people tried to uh..."purify the town"
sickening to me. but i can understand where they could come from. don't rage at me for that. what i mean is...all homophobia is, is people being afraid of what they don't know...think about it. people are afraid of horror movies cause they don't know what is going to happen, and then it shows you rather suddenly! so i can see where homophobes are coming from. but what i don't like is well...just that their unknowingness.
if you knew me in real life you know that i get math easy and when others don't and ask me for help i get really...well i become a bastard. and well it's the same way with the homophobes.
now, i could say im gay, or straight or bi, but it wouldn't mean anything as well atm i don't care to label myself and this is why...

now asshat probably is a nice guy...besides the verbal onslaughts he gives. and it's his onslaughts that gave him his codename ;D
but anyway. he's one of those guys that you think...he's so straight he isn't! (not to assume i actually think he's straight personally.) but anyway he is so obsessed with hurt gays it isn't funny. furthermore, without me telling anyone my orientation, he assumes i am gay ( which i very well could be who knows.) but anyway (it could've been cause i cursed him out for saying the word "faggot" which really consisted of calling him random curse words explaining what a faggot is and ending with guess what? his codename ;D )
so yeah. now i feel if i were to label myself it would be more than him. cause you see, it's not safe living on an island with only one exit. and especially not one that is so, black and white in views. any homosexuals deserve the right to be safe like any other human but here they don't even know the term.

so yeah its awesome. so many songs. though no song titles that start with "Z"? ima make a song and call it "zxc" and it will be great! but that will be in the future... i guess.

so music class! my band; Bury the Badger ( i think i might've prefered barry. but. yanno bury works too...badgers burrow so it works.) and we're playing autumn leaves and, i like what we're doing i think it sounds pretty pro. kinda like a jazz ballad spin, i like how we increase speed and kinda crescendo when the non-existant singer sings "the days grow" and "and soon i'll" and then i all kinda climaxes at "old winter's song" its. cool.

AND YEAH.
the intrepid fox is a song in the book. theres A LOT OF SONGS!
over 400 pages worth. so yeah.

yeah im a nerd... but im learning to make a robot.
i decided to make it a non-traditional robot.
it's going to...be remote controlled. sure it means the software will be more complex, HOWEVER.
if i want to sell another one, im looking at only a day to create. because i wouldn't need to do the weeks of personalized programing. or measuring...or optimization for hilly yards.
all that is above is assigning a pin of the microcontroller to a specified C programming action. PORTA being the action, 0x3B is trhe pin location, unsigned char is the pin. anyway. simplistic no?

so. boredom possessed me this eve, and i decided to learn some theory cause in all honesty...the most i KNEW was ttsttts. thats the pattern for a major scale fyi. so i decided i'd learn the modal scale patterns then i figure why not learn intervals that'd help me more in the actual composing process. and then i figure circle of fifths why not. so. circle of fifths is is easy. Father Charles Goes Down And Ends Battle that phrase is key to remembering the relative majors and the minors two. at least for me. and of course the # of sharps and flats is easy, C is natural and then increase flats by one each section to the left, and the same on the right only with sharps. i don't know really how to memorize intervals. but i know up to 6 half steps. but yanno, i do have a reference sheet to look off of when i need for composing purposes. and as for scales i now Major and minor. ill work on the pentatonic scales and the modal scales and of course, the blues scale.

in other news.
music class is starting to pick up. we got on the first new topic (for me) Chord progressions! we just did I-IV-V progressions and the 12 bar blues. and math is getting on my nerves. and cmt is just lame because he's doing stuff we did last year, which means i get done quicker than my inarticulate classmates which means i help top special needs kids that sit next to me, which gives me a headache. fun. english i always hate. and in the next paragraph ill go into more detail with that. also; have you ever noticed how on here people write like two sentence journal entrys? i find that odd.

so the english teacher. ugh shes annyoying i must say. she isn't the worst teacher but she just talks down to her students as if they ALL were inarticulate when its really only some people. she also says yeeeeeeaaaah alot. and like that. its just a bunch of little things. shes a nice teacher overal but just the talking down thing. sure your probably smarter as far as this class but i'd be smarter one in say, aspects of musical theory. like these freaking intervals...anyway. im bored anyone wanna chat?

so so so.
ima compose this weekend, because i have time; and cause im pretty sick and i had to go to school today even though i wasn't feeling well and yeah. school drains a lot of energy doesn't it?
i also have news. i may be able to record my music at the school after school hours using the recording studio we have but i've never seen. (though i hear it has mario world 1,1 wallpaper.) anyway. as epic as that is, that means i need to practice more. 3 years isn't enough practice to be able to play a song perfectly from the start, cause there is a number of years that you can do that....pfft. uhm, so im sitting on a duet with me and a friend of mine, and also he's a pirate, and then maybe be our guest....i need some jazz D:
but anyway. i plan this weekend to try composing things for like sax quartets, and mostly JAZZ, cause thats my favorite genre (i like most others and i am open minded but yanno) but i suppose i should try some soundtrack sounding stuff if i really wanna be a film composer. quite frankly i just want to compose for a living; film most likely to be most promising, but i could do other things...im not really knowledgeable on the subject of what composers compose for...i know for other musicians, tv, movies, musicals, uh, ensemble/orchestra. but yanno im not pl,anning anything cause i have 3 more years (counting this) before uni, and then 4 years of uni?
i hope to eventually get a doctorate in music, but im pretty sure between getting the degree and the masters and then the ph.D i need work experience? anyway...

i really need to start making relationships with people on here huh.

school is no help because our music teacher isn't one.
sooo i'm asking YOU! anyone who watches me (theres like 10 of you?) for themes and such. i need some muse! so give me character bios, terrain descriptions, stories, anything that could inspire a good tune.


and also, what programs do you guys use if any to compose?


and as for art; well this wasn't supposed to be an art account but i think if i draw anything i'll submit here, i draw mostly animals so yanno it works!.

my mom says that after i become really good at piano i can get a violin.
so i have to practice. so...
IM LEARNING SYMPHONY #7 IN A MAJOR. only an excerpt, but still. and i think i'll try to learn alice's theme. i can do the kinda intro thing to alice's theme, and i can play up to about a minute on the symphony. the excerpt is about 3 minutes i assume
butchya. i become proficent in piano and then i know how to play ALL THE INSTRUMENTS IN MAH HOUSE. except the guitar which comes and goes. mostly is gone. sooo i can't really learn to play guitar with a guitar that isn't around right? meh. i think the main thing is that my mom can't pay for the insurance to insure a used violin. Im still playing sax though. my sight reading is getting better =) but i still can't sight read anything with a shuffle beat or really even a swing. i dunno where my awesome powers of jazz went D: but it's okay because technically i sound better than ever! gonna rock out once band starts up again.
so hmm yeah. i'll start uploading once i can play a song. i can play be our guest and he's a pirate but not so well that i can't be sure i won't mess up.
so yeah, i'll practice some more and get back to yas.

and unlike with me leaving DA im not leaving here.
this is because im more inspired to play music and as such i should upload...i had a few questions about the aup because my original idea for recording was to use my comp's webcam to upload to youtube to then get the mp3 and then post here, i was told by 2 persons this should be okay as it would be myself playing. so yeah...what songs would you guys like to hear?

so this is Copy/pasted from DA.

so that music plan epically failed...
instead of my original plan this is how it'll go down.
one cover one week and then one original the next.
i've been having trouble with inspiration, and i thought i should just force myself to make music but thats no fun.
so really this "plan" is just going to be a guideline. i have a project where i can write original music so i figured why not? it's practice right?
i think the song will kinda center on the fairies of "A midsummer's night dream" and yes...it will be a jazz ballad.
i think it'll be fun to try to make it kinda magical sounding.

Also, Because this is pride month, im going to show my colors! what do i mean? im going to do some gay rights themed art!
no not pr0ns cause thats distasteful...at least for DA...instead i'll be doing two pictures that require my chemistry knowledge ( basically, im going to combine a bunch of chemicals to make a bunch of color, one plan is a rainbow of fire) and i'll do some other stuff. very vibrant stuff indeed. I'll try to make some gay rights stuff without rainbows but that being a big symbol of homosexuality...maybe something to do with....i dunno...

the plan for my uploads is simple.

everyday i will upload a computer played composition or practice.
so far i have done this. However, on the weekend instead of uploading computer made recordings i will record myself playing either an original composition or a cover. this will be done on saxophone or piano...and once i get the money for it, a violin or maybe cello.
i hope you, my watchers and or visitors enjoy =)
