life + commission update!
Posted 2 months agoalmost caught up with my backlog! phew.
for a heavily tl;dr explanation in regards to why i got so far behind on everything, i had a very, very bad mental break in november, and i haven't really been the same since. it has been super hard to work, or even do daily tasks like chores or errands or.. well, anything until recently. i'm slowly getting back to where i should be, and i should be caught up by the end of the month.
anyway, uh. i'm planning on taking the majority if not the entirety of august off to recoup and taking a small out-of-state vacation to relax with my husband for our birthdays, but i will still be opening for commissions as usual on august 1st! these will be slotted for mid-september completion, so be sure to keep an eye out if you've been waiting!
that being said, i really appreciate everyone who has been so patient and understanding and supportive of me through all of this. clients & friends both, y'all have been some kind of blessing through all of this. so thank you for being so unwaveringly understanding through all this.

Posted 3 months agoheya! sorry for the radio silence. i'm still working through my backlog while struggling a fair amount with my mental health and stability. i figured i would be out of this rut by now, but it is what it is, and i feel even worse knowing i've not been living up to my delivery speed standards when it comes to commission work. that being said, commissions (not counting ychs) will likely not be opening again until august unless i manage to catch up before then.
i'm very thankful to those who have been patient and understanding as i work through this rough time in my life and continue to support me. it really does mean the world to me. i plan on getting some things worked on and finished again soon, health be damned. i want to do this, it's the least i can do.
replies to folks may still be slow as i continue to work through this.

my husband and i got approval to move into a bigger apartment today, which means we will be focusing most of our energy on packing and slowly moving stuff over as soon as we can. :3
this is a much-needed upgrade in our life, and we're both very much looking forward to it.
that being said, due to the move, i may open for a few extra commission slots to help pad out any funds we may need to spend in the process. note if interested!
