I've been going through some rough times, and while I'm not hurting for money I'd like to get some art because that makes me happy somehow. Hi guys, I really don't want to make this a sob story or garner pity; I just want to report what's been going on lately and how it'll affect my art.

Ever since leaving my mom's, I've lived in a tiny camper with a college friend and her aunt, who was gracious enough to let me live here. There have been a number of problems arising, but for the most part it's been okay- I've had a roof over my head. On Saturday, I got a text saying that I need to have my stuff out by this Friday, that I'm not welcome here anymore. Some of the reasons are unfair. Some are justified... I'm not completely innocent in the matter. However, I was given no warning beforehand, no indication that there was such a serious problem. I still don't fully understand why I wasn't told of these problems before they apparently boiled over. All I know is, I have limited time to remove my things and find somewhere to stay/live. I have no idea where that will be.

So, as far as my art is concerned, I don't know how things will go. I have no plan to stop drawing even through all this, but things may get the better of me... I think I'd like to try opening up commissions soon. Once I get an owed picture done, I should finally be in more of a position to. I don't know how much you guys like my art, but I'm hoping I get at least a decent bit of interest. From there, I really don't know where things will go. I hope, pray, better.

If I can manage to survive this semester of college, I could possibly be moving to Tallahassee, Florida with a friend. There are job opportunities, a place to live, at least one familiar person, and a community college I could attend. I think, however, to truly get on my feet, that I'll take at least a semester off college to work a full time job and save up money.

Anyways, wish this rainbow birb luck. If you're Christian, Muslim, or anyone else of a faith, pray for me, and if you're not, place your fingers on your temples and send mental regards of well-wishing. I don't know if any of that will work, but hell, it's worth at least a couple seconds' time wasted.

Hi guys, just wanted to let you know kind of how things are going, and of course, what you'll be seeing from me in the near future.

First of all, I'm still very much do going to Furry Fiesta in Dallas, if all goes according to plan. (Whee, first con!) I will likely take pictures and post them here, or at least post a link as to not flood my gallery images that are not related to my personal art.

Second, I probably well continue to post personal art and whatever I owe other people; right now I'm just not ready for the responsibility of commissions. I'll post previews of what I'm currently working on as I do so, and hopefully what I post when it's done will be good enough to not suck ass. If it does, the ass-sucking will have to be up to my personal standards.

Speaking of commissions, I do definitely plan on taking them when the time is right.
-When I do commissions, I will be open for both SFW and NSFW art.
-NSFW will likely cost more. Why? Because honestly, when "researching" for a raunchy drawing, my libido often gets in the way and causes the drawing to take more time for completion.
-Certain subject matters will also cost more, such as gore, things I do not like, or difficult subjects.
-Conversely, there will be certain discounts on certain subjects. For example, I love avian characters and I enjoy drawing them, so there will be an avian discount. No, canines/felines/humans with feathers or wings are not avians. (Please don't make me rant about that...) I don't consider harpies avians either.

Lastly, in the future expect more of some of my favorite subjects in furry art: aviansavians, butts, diapers, fat, bellies, butts, booties, bottoms, and such and so forth. Feel free to ask me what I like and don't like.

I'm so sorry for flinging out my problems in these past journals... after this I'll post something lighter, or just not post anything related to my personal life and problems.

I have problems... everybody does, but only I can solve my own. Fact is... I'm lazy. I procrastinate. I have a severe lack of focus. I have a severe lack of motivation. I take the easy path and seek pleasure, instant gratification. It pains me so, so much to write these words out, but I feel it has to be done. Why do that long-overdue algebra homework when I could look at furry porn instead? Why draw, sketch, practice art when there's shit to build in Minecraft? I make excuses, I put things off, and when I face the reality that if I don't pick up my act... I shut down. I freeze up and become superglued to the bed I spend the majority of my days, every part of me screaming that it doesn't want to do it when my mind knows the consequences of failure. Is it even possible for me to pick myself up from this on my own? Maybe, but I have no clue how. It feels like an excuse to say that I need others' help to get out of this...

I want to make art for a living. I want to be able to exercise my creativity and make a living doing something I love. Or, loved. It's hard to tell if I love to do art anymore when I can't bring myself to even draw. I'm so paranoid that I'll end up not working for what I want and end up regretting it for the rest of my life. Every moment is a crossroads, and I'm making all the wrong choices at each one... My bad decisions are haunting me, the art I owe, even something I still owe from years back is haunting my conscience, yet I have not the sensibility to actually pay what I owe.

Once again, I'm so sorry for yet again put all my problems out there like this... Next journal, I'll do a meme or something, I don't know. If you've read this far and remotely care, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

*sigh*... I don't even know where to begin. I've recently been interested in getting an art piece or two commissioned, so I've been contacting some of my favorite artists to maybe have something worked out. A couple have responded and told me that they're not open at the moment; okay, that's cool, moving on. Most recently, however, a several artists I've contacted simply won't respond to me, and I'm scared that I've said something to upset them, or something that simply makes them not want to regard me. I dislike being on a person's bad side, and I hate even more not knowing whether or not I've done something wrong, and especially if I have, what I did. No one's telling me. And I can't bear being in the dark like this.

With artist X, I've commissioned them before and had a great experience in doing so; They responded fairly promptly and there were absolutely no problems. I contacted them again, this time a more informally. In hindsight, I should have been more professional and not used the stupid "Shut up and take my money" meme in the subject line. I kind of regret that. If that's the source of the issue with X, then I wouldn't be surprised, and I wish they would at least respond and let me know what exactly is wrong so I can rectify any wrongdoings. I still hope I can commission them, because I really want to get something special for my boyfriend and I...

With artist Y, I've admired their art in the past, and as they mention in their profile, they are/were open for requests. So, I sent a note just to be sure it was okay to ask, and no response. Later on, I found out that they're doing commissions now, and I'm still interested in getting art from them, so I contacted them again, still with no avail. Here, I truly don't have a clue what's wrong.

Maybe I'm just paranoid about doing something wrong; I couldn't really tell you. All I know is, they've been active in posting and faving, and maybe they're just busy... If so, then I'm an immature idiot who should probably get a life and move on. I just can't make myself drop this until I get some sort of answer, and it's killing me...

It seems somehow that even though I haven't posted any submissions in forever, people are continuing to watch me, so I feel it's proper to give a bit of an overview of what's been going on, and what to possibly expect from me in the future.

So, first off I'd like to say that the commission for Drewsy and the raffle requests for HeatseekerBoy and TheIrishHusky have continued to be on my consciousness throughout this art slump I've been going though. If there's one thing I don't like, it's owing people things. It doesn't sit well that three people have put their trust in me to deliver what I promise, and that I haven't proven myself to be a reliable artist, or person in general. So as of right now, commissions and trades are on hold until I can get my shit together.

To get myself out of this art block, I'll be starting out doing small sketches, anatomy practice, maybe some digital practice as well. I'm hopefully going to get to buy a new computer soon, so that should REALLY help out in the long run for my production of art. Feel free to give me suggestions, tips, advice, and support. I'm always in need of them.

Finally, I plan on expanding to Tumblr, finally. I made an account sometime in July but haven't done much with it beyond giving the blog a theme. Feel free to follow me, though, at http://indigothefennec.tumblr.com.

It's white, short pile faux fur, 2 5/8 x 1 2/3 yards (2.4m x 1.5 meters). The item is in near perfect condition, unused except for a 1" by 1" square cut out (to test something). Clean and soft, it's perfect for making at least a partial fursuit. I'm terribly sorry for being so disconnected lately. A lot of things have been going on, and on top of that I am not good at making journals.

So, I finally graduated from my last year of high school on the 6th of June, and I've also been looking for a job (with absolutely no success...). I've gone through a breakup on top of other emotional issues throughout the month. All in all, it's been really hard to keep my priorities in check.
