Posted a year agoAs much as I love Kinktober, I'm currently to busy with other projects, family stuff and commissions behind the scenes.
I may be able to post an YCH soon. It's actually based on a prompt from last year that went untouched.
How soon I can post it depends on how much is going on with my family (long story short, I'm currently the only person able to do errands for my family, so I have to help out for a while) and how much work I be doing for my friends project.
I'll be looking forward to next years kinktober though and will prep a new prompt list for that.Vtuber debut stream!

Posted 2 years agoClosed for now, I'll decide now, on which request/-s I'd like to draw. Thanks to everyone for posting their request on my various socials, there are a few really interesting ones to consider!
I'd like to do one or two free (yes you heard right, free) sketch requests.
This is your chance to get some free art, BUT the following rules apply:
(Please read EVERYTHING!)
- If you want to place a request, you should be a follower.
- ONE request per person!
- Maximum two characters per request.
- Have references at hand.
- Bonus points, if you choose any official character/-s of fandoms I enjoy.
- The more detailed your request, the higher the chances I may choose it.
- I choose one or two request/-s out of everyones suggestion. (Multiplattform)

What fandoms are you guys into?
Posted 3 years agoI've been part of various fandoms over the years, now I'm curious what fandoms you guys are into.
Kinda want to see how many of our fandoms align XDc
(Also I may want to do more fanart soonish, I'd love to create stuff for fandoms/characters you guys appreciate too)

My commission prices had been in the really low tier for quite some time now. My skill level has risen in the past few years and it really was about time I raise my prices accordingly, so it feels fair in comparison to the effort and time I invest in my work.
(This part is mostly me rambling, so feel free to skip this. Unless you like to hear me ramble XD)
I never been good in setting prices on things I create/-d. Mostly due to a lack of self esteem/confidence and lowkey tying my follower count to it as well, wich isn't good practice, go figure.
Had been talking with close friends and artist friends to get input on what they'd feel were good price ranges for me.
I was astonished by some numbers I got back (way higher then I would have set myself) and had a hard time coming to the conclusion that yes, I was underselling myself.
Though I wasn't comfortable with raising my prices quite to the amounts given to me, I settled on something that feels right for now and hopefully not to steep for anyone interested in commissions.
I'm still ~20-40% lower than some prices suggested to me, if I'm not mistaken. I also looked at commission prices of other artists with similar skills to mine to adjust acordingly.
I guess I'm trying to say, I've been overthinking this way to long, cause that's how I am. Being fair to yourself is hard when you have this amount self esteem issues.

So time for a journal, just to update the front page. I'm not good with writing journals. XD

Posted 4 years agoI know I am one of those artists who posts for a while, somewhat get's lost and then reappears again (for various reasons, lol).
But this past .. nearly two month where something else.
My soulmate visited me at the begining of october, so for two weeks I was mostly occupied with him and going places.
BUT sadly not all was very smooth.
(This next paragraph is somewhat dealing with personal trauma and pet death! Just as headsup.)
My parents cat Oscar, mostly lived with me in my appartment ever since they got themselves dogs and one of the dogs had a tendency to hunt smaller animal.
He started to develope health issues shortly before my soulmate visited. He slobbered and I got really worried he may had teeth problems. So I've been to the vet with a few times during my soulmates visit, as well as 3 times after. twice for seeing if we get a good look in his mouth as well as painkillers, the third time I had to leave him there for a narcosse so they could properly investigate it.
I was already scared it could be worse then just his teeth and having to leave him alone at the vet for the narcose didn't sit well with me at all, but I had no choice, we needed to know what was up and if it was treatable.
Not even an hour later my mother called me, since she got contacted by the vet first. He had cancer in his tounge/mouth, high chances to spread and seamingly aggressive and the reason he slobbered and had trouble eating (his tounge went stiff within only a month). She told me she was sorry, but she had to make the call and decided it's best to put him down, it wasn't treatable and he'd only suffer, if we wouldn't. My dad retrieved his body and we held a pet funurel later that day.
I was heartbroken, for me Oscar was somewhat of my child (I hope this doesn't come of as to weird?) and I felt like I betrayed him at the end, because his last memories of me where leaving him at the vet. I am honestly still filled with guilt over this, even though I had no other choice, but it eats me up each time I think about it.
(It should be save to read after here.)
In any case I took time to grief, I wasn't able to do much for the following days/week anyways with how I felt. And my mother kept showing me cats that I could adopt only a few days after. I guess she meant well, but I felt more heartbroken to constantly having to say no, cause I needed time but felt like I say no to cats who need a home. At some point I thought she accepted it and I had some time to gather myself again. Trying to crawl out of my grief and maybe draw again.
Well my mother decided she wants me to have a cat again and on sunday the 7th called me around noon ''Your dad will drive over to get your new cat, you wanna tag along?''. I was dumbfounded to say the least, she really went over my head and organized an adoption. I couldn't say no at that point as she already organized everything, so I went with my dad and brought home a small black kitten with goldenish eyes. I decided to call her Bastet, with her eyes and fur it seemes like the perfect match.
And well, now I am a cat mum again since about a week, trying to teach the small one, what she shouldn't do (like climbing my desk chair or trying to play with cables.). So I'll be slow to work on things atm with this little one keeping me up and anxious with all the trouble she get's into in my appartment. >.>
But yes I am still alive, just occupied with things happening and trying to deal with old and new things one day at a time.

Computer Crash Log [UPDATE 7th Feb]
Posted 8 years agoAfter all my computer crashes I decided to make a crash log where I put in all the shit my current computer does.
I'll only feature things that happened in this year.

- Crash while working in PS
- Loud buzzing error noise, stagnant screen nothing able to move
- Manual Shut down and restart necessary
- Boot longer than usual
1st Feb 2018
- Crash while working in PS
- Soft buzzing error noise, stagnant screen nothing able to move
- Manual Shut down and restart necessary
- Boot mildly longer than usual
25th Jan 2018 (Just around 1am)
- Crash whit out any noise.
- Nothing able to move, keyboard commands don't work.
- Unplugging and restart necessary.
- Boot normal.
21st Jan 2018
- Crash while working in PS
- Buzzing error noise, stagnant screen nothing able to move
- Manual Shut down and restart necessary
- boot only mildly longer than usual

Posted 8 years agoWooo two family filled days lie past me. (rn it's the 2nd day of christmas for Germany/ 26th 09:57 am)
I hope all of you had a good few days so far and got to share it with your loved ones.
Also hoping Santa got you everything you asked for. OuO
So I'll be out today to fetch my soulmate on the train station, we'll be spending some quality time together and spend some christmas money on stuff we don't need. XDc
I'll be less active until the 7th January, only working on a few commission that are still open.
So I'll be seeing you then!~

Kinktober
Posted 8 years agoI try to keep this short.
So Kinktober is still going on. I have skipped day 7 so far and haven't managed to finish yesterdays prompt and therefor haven't started todays prompt either.
Reasons are mostly, that I'm sick with an flu infection since monday, causing heavy coughs that keep me awake no matter how tired I am
(also causing throat pain and headaches) as well as some personal stuff happening and dragging my mood to rock bottom. Overall I'm very exhausted.
I'm really sorry that I can't keep up the daily thing, but I want to finish all Kinktober days and I will finish every picture, sketch, lineart.
Days I skipped will be done and posted later on when I have enough stamina to make them happen. So I may upload 2 pictures on one day
or submit the missing days at the end of the month / the beginning of next month.
(Hope friday the 13th isn't as much as a crushing experience for you guys, as it is for me.)

I'm not trying to get someone to find a magical answer to my unproductiveness problem. I just want vent to get it somehow out of my system and also let you guys know a bit about the current situation.
Lately I find myself more and more unable to concentrate and go thru with tasks of any kind.
Even fun things like games and drawing either exhaust me or I loose interest so fast it becomes a 'burden' for me to continue. Or at least it feels like that.
Today is one of the days I have a constant block that makes me unable to do pretty much anything.
For example:
I start up a game, do a few things and quit the game again because it just feels like the effort is to exhausting.
I wanted to continue working on art, but as soon as I started up PS I feel really drained again and are to afraid to start or continue anything because it would exhaust me more and prolly look awkward, forced and overall bad in the end.
The whole art ordeal makes me feel guilty as well. I mean... I feel guilty for not cleaning my apartment as well, but that's a problem only affecting me.
I currently have 2 Patreon reward commissions (1 to finish, 1 not started yet), the commission for the raffle prize, the custom for the raffle prize, an YCH auction that will end in about a week, several adopts I had ideas for, a lot of private projects as well as fanart I wanted to do.....
I come up to a total of about 50-60 artworks / adopts / commissions / species lore / etc..
Today I'm just unable to do anything art wise even so I really want to and I actually need to work on anything commissioned since it's payed work. :1
It drives me nuts to sit on my PC and feel like a useless piece of garbage, just listening to music or some random videos.
I know this prolly is coming from my depression (wich can affect me hugely even if I'm not sad...idk y I explain that, but depression doesn't mean just being sad 24/7), as well as still being sick with a flu and having low blood pressure today(actually was at the nurse station of my day clinic today and got send home again).
Yea... so this is overall my situation rn. I can't do stuff because I feel shit and feeling even shittier for not being able to do anything....
(Have I ever mentioned that I repeat myself alot?)
I'm not trying to get someone to find a magical answer to my unproductiveness problem. I just want vent to get it somehow out of my system and also let you guys know a bit about the current situation.

Posted 8 years agoBeginning now, I could say that I'm officially on vacation, since in about 14 hours I'll be driving over to my soulmate. ^^
I'll be gone till the 10th, so I won't be able to take or work on commissions until I returned.
Also no other art until then. ^^;
But I'm really excited (just not so happy I have to get up early for an appointment still XDc).
