Trying to get back in the groove
Posted 7 years agoIts been a while sense I wrote one of these.
Hello all that reads this, Jace speaking from the dead. Damn its been a long time. Anyways, I've been gone for a lot of months, and my last journal, I said i would be back soon. Man am I full of shit. XD
Anyways, I just wanted to say that these last few months have been a roller coaster for me, a lot has happened to me and affected me in different ways. Safe to assume that my drive for art has been shot in the foot and left in the dust. So many things has gotten in the way of what I feel I'm most passionate about. and its really hard, to try to get out of this slump, to try to find some way to better myself. It fuckin sucks. And the scariest part of it all, more times than one I've thought about just giving it up, thinking to myself that there is no point in trying to force myself to do my passion when real world problems constantly sap all of my energy and time away. And so, damn near a year later, here I am.
If I truly gave up, I wouldn't be writing this.
If I didn't bother anymore, I would have just poofed and gave up this account for good. But in the time that I was absent, from time to time i would come back, to see what I've missed. some of my friends, artists that i admired, and others that i was once on par with, soar ahead in skill, becoming something more than i could even hope for. And yet for some reason, I didn't want to give it all up. Even though i didnt draw every day, i still had ideas flood my brain, and i wrote each one down. My brain doesn't want to give up, yet my body is finding it hard to get on the same page. So, i desided to finally get off my ass and do something. even thou it is hard as hell to get back into the groove of things, im trying my best, by doing it one step at a time. Hopefully i can eventually get to where i once was, and surpass that to get to an even more epic level of skill. one step at a time, ill get there, and surely, you all will be seeing my mug once again.
Thanks to all who bothered to read this, my feelings up until now. Thanks to those who, even though i haven't been around, still find enjoyment in what i have created. Don't give up on me yet, i WILL be back, stronger, and better than ever.Computer issues

But I have an excuse this time.
So I tried to upgrade my desktop so it could handle more things, new power supply, brand new graphics card, that type of stuff. But I goofed. Apparently my desktop how it was was an older model than i first thought. And the second I inserted the graphics card, my motherboard basicly exploded. Luckily for me it was only my motherboard, but in all, I have been gaining the funds in order to buy the parts I need. So Ive been putting in alot of hours at work, busy busy folf. I should be back in no time.
But seriously, grapics card OP. XD

This time around imma open up for 5 slots to start with, first come first serve with the requirement for payment up front, we can discuss
terms through notes, all you have to do is send me a note tagged "Commission Interest" and we can go from there! Now, here's what I'm offering-
Line art = 15-20 USD
Flat color = 25-30 USD
Characters and backgrounds will be 15 to 20 each.
Now something new- Comic commissions! Im still new to this but still i wanna do it! Sooooo~
Simple b&w page = 25-35 USD (Limit is 4 pages)
Flat color page = 35-45 USD (Limit is 3 pages)
The prices for comics are per page, and extra characters or detailed backgrounds will be 25 each page.

Posted 8 years agoOk, the beginning of this year has been...more or less hectic. Alot of unexpected situations and unwanted surprise events tends to fuck up your scheduled plans royaly, as it has done for me. Honestly ive barely had the chance to come on here to look at the awesome arts that ive missed, let alone completing a piece of work. Then i realized that without me noticing, ive almost reached 500 watches from you guys, which is awesome!
Its a real mood lifter to see that i still have peeps that enjoy my style, and are willing to put up with my constant delays just to see what i come up with next, thats dedication! So as a treat for you all, ive desided to do another free raffle when i reach the 500 mark! More details will be explained in a later journal, but untill then, i have something else that ive been working on that im sure that most of you will be interested in seeing.
Again to all of you who has been loyal to what i do, thankyou so very mutch, and happy new year to ya too. (I know, im late. X3) The year is ending...Holy crap.

Posted 9 years agoWell not really dying per say, more like ive had a bad flu for a while now that pretty mutch destroyed any ambition i had other than to work and lay in my bed.
Yes yes i know when yur sick you stay in bed but when you have things to pay off you have to make due. And trust me ive been REEEAAAALLLLY carefull not to get anyone sick and its worked so far. So more or less this is an update twards how im doing, and commission wise as well.
For my commissioners who has waited so long for my slow ass im so sorry to keep you waiting, and i will hop on that artest train as soon as i can. I will keep you posted on your spicific works.

Posted 9 years agoAs the title says, im in need of some quick cash pronto, so im gonna be doin some sketch commissions for those interested.
They will be $15 for anything from clean to adult, this time i wont charge for background, but extra characters are still an extra $5 a pop.
For those who dont have mutch to offer, i offer $5 character busts as well if interested.
Anything will be greately appreciated, and all proceeds will help me get into a new apartment quicker, so thank you in advance!
OH! My bad, if you are interested, then just send me a note with what you want for your picture and reffs of course. Also payment is through PayPal, and it will be asked upon me showing you the early sketches. Thanks again!

Long story short, things happened and i had to move out me house in a mounth. I am done moveing, but sadly dont have a new place to call my own just yet.
Untill then, i sadly cant do mutch online as of right now, and it will be a while before i save up enough for a new place. I would probably start up emergency commissions, but again the only access that i have online right now is my phone. ^^;
I just thought i would let you know WHY this time you will be seeing less of me for a while. And it sucks too cause i was just getting use to streaming for the first time, and it was awesome! And when i do get back, i will make sure to get right back into the swing of things, moreso than i have been before. I know im not that prominent when it comes to consistent artwork, but damnit im gonna try my best to give you guys something to be interested in!
Just keep me in the pockets of yur minds and ill be back in no time, untill then, ill see ya when i see ya!
