So a friend just informed me that 90% of their FA gallery just got nuked by mods and all of it was ABDL related (including art done by me) It seems the June 7th deadline was a lie. So i plan to save as much of my gallery the second I get home and I suggest that you all do the same, because I am pretty I am on the chopping block now (even though almost everything I draw is SFW) I will need to think about where I will post my art for now on if the worst should happen.

I just wanted to put my two cents on the current situation with the policy update.

This was poorly planned out on the mod's part. While I understand the reasoning behind the rule it self having good intentions as a whole, it is clear they did NOT get enough feedback before they decided to impliment it and the fact they have not made it more defined or clear is the reason the site is in such a state of panic. If they had better transparency or communication with their users, this wouldn't have blown up in their faces as bad as it is. Hopefully with the all the negative push back they are receiving they will rethink their current course, but until we get more info, there is nothing I can do but wait and see what happens next. So for now, I have no plans on deleting anything in my gallery unless I am specifically asked to or get more detailed information.

I know this situation sucks, but all we can do is try and support one another and hope for the best.

Normally I try and stay away from journals like this but I figured It wouldn't hurt to get this off my chest.

So my brain has fallen into the whole drone headspace again and after running twitter poll, I am opening up for another round of drone themed commissions! These will be special discounted slots starting at $35 + $5 for each additional character after the first. The commission has to fit the them if you choose this slot, but I will allow normal commission this round as well. Sorry for the massive art dump as usual. I need to start posting stuff more consistently...

anyway, now that commissions are out of the way, I am happy to report I have found new employment with the clay studio! Now I work in the same place I make my ceramic art, which is way more convenient for me. This is still not a permanent thing but it's a step in the right direction. So things are starting to look up for me and hopefully I will have more good news for people in the future :3

So with the new year around the corner, it is time for the list of resolutions (that people never seem to finish but i am doing it anyway!)

- Develop Relm of Mylk more
- Make new updated refs for all my current OCs
- Experiment more with comics, sequences, stickers, etc
- Work out a system for Ceramic commissions (yes I do ceramic art)
- beat all the Final Fantasy pixel remasters
- Find a new job (that isn’t retail)
- continue being weird :3

So as many of you are already aware, I recently lost my job, so now I am kinda living off unemployment and commissions until I can find a new job. And now I am wondering if I should raise my prices a little bit, realistically maybe $5-$10 base price and just making extra characters/poses $10 across the board. I have had many people telling me I charge too low for my artwork but I worry about scaring away alot of my regular buyers. What do you all think? I could use some more opinions.

If I did do this, here are what my prices would look like:

Digital Line Art - $25 USD + $5 USD per extra character

Digital Color Commission = $40 USD + $10 per extra character

Reference Sheet Commission = $50 USD (2 Poses) + $10 USD per extra Pose

Anyway I should update you all whats going on with me as of late. As of a few days ago, I find myself unemployed once again x.x After spending almost a year of retail hell, I managed to land a job at a custom home decor company in their ceramics department. It was such a refreshing change to what I did before and actually got to use my degree for something useful. The catch was it was a 3 month temp contract with the potential of long term employment based on performance. I knew from the start I knew It wasn't a guarantee but after 3 months I had a good feeling after reviving positive feedback from my boss and boss's boss. Sadly it turned out the company's sales were done this year which meant they couldn't afford to keep me so that was that. IT sucks, but it is not the end of the world. I did save a bit of money the last few months and I have unemployment since I have been working the past year straight.

So I now have alot more free time on my hands until I find a new job. Which means I will be trying to do more commissions to help supplement my income for a bit. But I am ok, I am not in dire finical stress and I hope no one is worried about me too much. Anyway I hope you all have a good weekend and a good halloween :3
