Hey all, I hope everyone is doing well. If you didn’t guess from the title, today is my birthday! I am turning 30 this year and I gotta say I am shocked I am already this old, because it certainly doesn’t feel like it...

It does suck this is happening when the world is in such a state if chaos and such, but you gotta take in the few good things there are. This hasn’t been the best year for me, what with losing my job, and having all my life plans basically blown to heck, at least I got some great friends sending me well wishes, so thats something at least. Thank you all hanging in there for me.

Welp, I lost my job. My boss had to make the tough call and had to let several folks go, and I ended up on the chopping block. I will miss working at the ceramic shop needless to say, I felt very much in my element there. But I am not gonna let this get me down. I just need to try and pick things up and start again. During the lock down I have been getting unemployment, and have been actually making more then I normally would have working, though I am smart enough to know it won't last, which is why I put most of it away in my savings. My plan is that once the lock down is lifted in my area, I will start looking for studio space to rent so I can focus on my ceramic art more, which would be great since up till now I only got to go to the public studio maybe once a week. Since I live at home, I can live off my unemployment for a little while before looking for a new job, and my grandmother has said she would like to invest a bit into my ceramic practice to help me out a bit (she has been SUPER supportive of my art career) So I'll be alright for awhile until I can figure out what I am gonna be doing next. Till then I just need to focus on staying safe and keeping my self sane. Anyway I hope everyone is doing ok and hope you stay safe!

Hello all! I hope everyone is keeping sane during this weird and slightly scary time in history. I just wanted to touch base and let people know the kitty is alive and well. I have been stuck at home with my family for the past month, temporarily (hopefully) unemployed and trying to keep myself busy. I have done a few more commissions I plan to post soon, been getting back into FFXIV (Leviathan Server), and I have been working on my sewing skills by making masks for my family and friends who need them. So yes I am doing well and I hope your all doing the same. Hopefully the world will return to a state of semi normal soon, and that I can spread plush kitty hugs in person again! Ok so the end of 2019 kinda ended on a sucky note for me, but now I am ready to get back on my feet and start the new year off right. I wanna try and get more personal art done and get back into proper commissions because my performance the last year was kinda spotty at best. Here is hoping everyone has a better year then the last! I hope everyone is having a good time and having some good food! This has been an especially crappy 2 weeks for me and today was a much needed pick me up. I am gonna be ok and I am gonna start working on getting some much needed respite from everything that has been going on.

This morning around 7am, my grandfather passed away at the the age of 79. About a week ago he had a massive heart attack which would have probably would have killed him there and then, but thankfully my grandma was there and called ambulance. He had been in the hospital ever since, and after a week, it wad clear he wasn’t getting any better, and I think he knew it before any of us did.

I should be grateful that he got a chance to say goodbye, and get his affairs in order... but this sucks. This just fucking sucks. He had been perfectly healthy the day before and then this came out of no where. I knew this day would come eventually... but it wasn’t suppose to happen now. Dad and grandma are heartbroken, and the whole family has come together in support.

I guess I’ve been lucky up to this point, as most people my age have already lost all or most of their grandparents. He was a good man and a big influence on me growing up. I got to see him one last time in the hosptial at least while he was still doing ok, and it nearly broke me . But I know i gotta be strong now for grandma and dad. It’s the least I can do.

Anyway, I may be quiet for the next few days (though I have been quiet a lot lately...) Thank you for those who have been helping through this horrid ordeal. I don’t deserve you guys.

Hey there all. I hope you've all been enjoying your summer. Sorry I haven't been in touch for awhile, life has been kinda busy. Between work as well as getting stuff in order for Furrydelphia earlier this month, I didn't have much time on keeping my FA updated as I wanted. But here now to let you know I am not dead and still kicking. In fact I am ready to start taking new commissions!

Before we get to the details, I should make a few thing clear about my commissions this time around:

1) After the fiasco that was last round, I have decided to go back to accepting payments AFTER I get your commission finished rather then upfront. It just caused unnecessary stress for me and I felt guilty making people wait longer then they needed for their commissions. This just works better for me

2) I made a minor price increase for extra characters/poses for digital colored and ref sheet commissions. Extra Characters for Digital Colored are now $7.50, and Extra Poses for Ref Sheets are now $10. Be sure to read the form to note these changes.

Hey all, I just wanted to apologize to those waiting for commissions. My work schedule has changed suddenly recently, meaning I have less time to work on stuff as usual. In addition, I will be attending a wedding next week in South Carolina and will be unable to work on art related things until afterwards. It's for this reason I will also be temporarily holding off accepting any more until after the wedding is over. I apologize and I hope that you all have a good week.

Yeah I have been seeing what people have been saying about their concerns paypal may use this system to hunt down and ban users who draw kink/nsfw artwork, and decided to disable it until we know more about it, I my re-enable it once we know more. but better safe then sorry.

Hey there everyone. Sorry I have been quitet as of late. Been busy with real life stuff and such. Anyway I wanted to write this journal to give you all a heads up on something I have been considering for awhile. As you may or may not know, up till now I have always accepted payment for commissions AFTER they are completed. Though recently I have started to run into a problem with people suddenly having to delay payment for one reason or another. I am not calling anyone out on this, and I am very aware things come up that are outside people's control, but it's gotten to the point where this has occurred one to many times that it's become a problem. It's for this reason I have decided to make the following change to how my commissions work. For now on, I will request that any or all commissions from me must be payed for in full before I work on them. This way I can assure that I will be payed in a timely manner and avoid any sudden financial issues that might pop up for my clients. Should there be any reason that might come up that requires you to cancel your commission, I will of course happily issue a refund in that case. I hope that you all understand my reasons for doing this and that those of you who have commissioned me in the past or wish to commission me in the future will continue to show your support. Thank you and have a good weekend.

It is now safe to come out of your emergency art shelters and view and leave comments of a silly nature. The kitty will resume normal activities after thanksgiving is over. Until then please enjoy your holiday and please be careful not to step in any residual kitty doodles. They are very hard to wash out of your fur. So now that Inktober is done, I am gonna work on trying to get back on track with my commissions. Please note that I will not be opening up any new commissions until I have finished the ones I already have. I wanted to thank everyone who supported me while I coped with my dog's death. It still hurts but I am feeling better, and I wanna try and get my life back on track. Anyway lets get to it!

Today we had to say goodbye to our family dog Soupy. He was our first dog we ever owned and a beloved memeber of the family. He had been diagnosed with bone cancer and the vet it was for the best to let him go peacefully instead of waiting and letting him suffer. He was a good dog and deserved to be as comfortable as possible in the end. May he rest in peace.
