TF idea: Fox disease
General | Posted a year agoNew pandemy. The fox disease changes humans into foxes in a month. There is no cure and no vaccine.
Recommendations are: If you contract fox disease, take off your clothes, lay in a bed and do not be afraid of fever - 38.7 is normal for foxes. Do not take paracetamol to drop it, it will make the transition process painful, with a big chance of fatality. Call an ambulance only in cases of serious deformity during transformation. Do recommended exercises daily to switch your body to its new quadruped configuration. Do not force yourself to walk on two legs while changing - severe bone dislocations could occur. Be prepared for some pains when your muzzle grows and your teeth are replaced. When your fur starts to grow, there will be an itch, do not scratch yourself, use a bath instead or a wet towel. Do not lock your doors. Get rid of foods dangerous for foxes, especially chokolade. Most of the time, you would not need food because your body grew smaller. But prepare for a lot of water to drink. Stay home at least four days after changes are finished, after that period you are free of infection. Wear some badge on your neck to recognize yourself. You will be able to speak, but you need time to adjust to your new tongue and mouth shape. After you exit for the first time, immediately visit the nearest vet for vaccination. Do not try to contact wild foxes, they can detect you are the former human and attack you. Do not try to live in the wild without a special rehabilitation course. Although your brain will shrink too, in most cases your mental abilities and memory would not be affected.
Reality: mind was affected more commonly then radio says, only 2% chance to stay intact, about 60% is total loss to fox-level IQ, other are varying degree, although memory is intact. Yes, most retain ability to speak with high accent after monthly training. The form is total animal, without traces of human except cognitive and voice skills.
After a year no humans remained, although all wild foxes are affected too. (yes, some of them gain human IQ) As a side effect they gained a human lifespan. They have to rebuild civilization using their now small furry quadruped bodies.

FA is evolving to a pornsite.
General | Posted 2 years agoWas blocked forever by a user for a plot with kids. Seems that there will be no more stories with immature charecters. Bye, Goosebumps and fairy tales!
As I see, the trend is there are no relations between characters except sexual in FA. No friendship, no common interests, no education. Only "insert A into B". Of course, in this case all stories with minors are CP. If there are two males - they have to be gays. If a person changes into a cat, there have to be sex with female cat, descripted in more detail then the transformation. If there are furries, they have to make love, then make love in another pose (and they have to be LBGTZ, of course). If it is a human, it has to be with oversized genitals and|or breasts. This is boring. No adventure, no mystery, no fantasy. Only straight (or perverted) porn.
Because of it, I permanently switched SFW filter on. I am sure, there have to be some good NSFW stories and pictures I would skip, but I no longer care.

TF idea (Splitting/merger animal):
General | Posted 3 years agoA boy asks a witch for a meerkat (or other small critter) costume for Halloween. The witch give him a TF potion, but this potion can't change mass, so he changed into ten animals, and to change back they have to collect together on sunrise in right order. Unfortunately...
TF story idea (for paleontologists)
General | Posted 3 years agoWhat about time travel TF, but if you go into past, you are in the body of your ancestor (so in Jurassic you are not a dino, but shrew). When you travel back to the future, you go to a body of your offspring (and can't jump more if it is from n extinct species). Of course, each time you return, future is changed randomly, because dices rolled anew. No mind effects, but you have to stay mammal.
For travelers it looks like their bodies are morphed with evolution flow, not just jumping. Device has time dial and button, after pressing it you can't stop unless there are no future for one traveler. After each trip, it has to recharge for a day.
Plot is: group of children found this time machine and decides to go back in time to change into dinosaurs to scare everybody. Result: they are feral animals in a world where otters created civilization.

magic doggy door
General | Posted 4 years agoMost magic doggy doors work both way, But only if you don't cross it twice in one direction.
Or it is dog-only-change door no matter how you climb through, you become a dog forever. You have to find a magic human door to become human.
Or, there are a reality-change portal, when you go to dog side, you come to a place where you always been a dog, no trace of your human existance.
... the story of a boy, who found a magic door in an old abandoned hut, used it to change into a dog many times each time longer and longer, then after one big advendure (he was taken far away by a loving family, who adopted him in a dog shelter) returned and see that there are a new house instead of the demolished hut.

TF for a loser
General | Posted 4 years agoAn idea: story where the main character WANTS to TF, but because he is unlucky, all triggers do not work for him. His friends, siblings, classmates, parents are changed into some animals, but he is still human.
Finally, he found some UBROGM - Ultimate Bloody Ritual Of Guaranteed Metamorphose, and surely changed. Technically. But, what becomes different is his blood is not I, Rh-; but II, Rh+ group. And after that ritual he becomes immune to all other TFs for his life.

Maybe, he can break from the costume, just discovering his body reformed into a feral fox kit.
I think first he has to use hindpaws to remove hands mittens (he does not see and thinks that some stuffing is glued to his hands). Then scratch his body to break apart his chest. Then trying to take off head, but finding his shoulders are still restricted and he can't rotate his arms. So, he removes feet mittens instead and uses feet claws to free his head.
After seeing for the first time his short muzzle and padded toes instead of fingers, he run to bathroom thinking that water could remove foam. The robot turned off too and thinks that "toy is damaged by a wild animal, call animal control, repair toy".
The animal control comes and sees there are furless fox kit in a bath. They take him to an animal shelter. There, after a few days, he starts to grew a real fox fur and after some training from personell how to catch a live mouse, he is releaset do a wild. There, he lives rest of his life, sometimes wondering if his human memory was just a dream.

Magic hoop idea
General | Posted 6 years agoWhat if the hoop is RANDOM? i.e.
1. Each time you changes, you changes into a different mammal. (of course, it could be "animal", but there are too many bugs and water-dwellers). Remember, there are 5-6 thousand species known now. (most of them are rodents and bats)
2. if any part of your body pass through the hoo, you can't go back. You have to finish change.
3. (optional) The hoop has limited uses per day. Let's say, hourly. So, to change back you need a year average.

The parchment says:"

Ton of gold and jewel one hundred carat
Roll this paper in pipe and a Sign you see
Dig with bare hands under the tree
But when Sun disappears once again
All unfinished job will lost in vain
Remember, you have only one try
You can't repeat it until you die

Pig TF in an unfinished story.

"Chester took big bites and filled his mouth so full he could hardly chew. 'Chester, please don't eat like a pig' pleaded his mother. Chester had lots of nice toys, but he never shared them when his friends came to play. Chester would keep them all to himself." One day, while playing in the mud, Chester turned into a pig. "Chester was so busy, he didn't notice his nose pop suddenly into a pink snout and his ears grow big and flat till they hung down." When his mother saw a pig in the back yard, she called a local pig farmer, who hauled Chester away.

Bill Peet eventually wrote a pig story called CHESTER THE WORLDLY PIG.
So, originally, Chester was not a pig but a former boy!

RP log
General | Posted 7 years agoLink: https://etherpad.net/p/0qICwKznL6
Participants: ~Inry, ~DiggerGallin
Your character: Dad lion (name)? He is an anthro lion (which degree of anthro?). Six foot ten (2m). Three hundred and fifty pounds (155Kg). Just developing a dad body. He has everything he ever wanted. Except a son.
My character: Jeff, 10 years old boy. 20Kg weitght, 1m height. He is trying to explore the mansion in search for treasures. He has blond hair and tan skin. He likes computer games. He has green t-shirt with Yoda, blue jeans and boots. There are flashlight iand tools n his backpack. During RP, he will speak from first person.
Location: A McMansion in the suburbs
Time: Summer vacation. Around midnight
I walk on warm dark alley to check houses. There are some of them which looks abandoned. I heard that there are ghost on one of them. I do not afraid ghosts because they are harmless, I know it from Casper movies. But I know that ghost always keeps some treasure. An old wooden chest filled with gold and diamond. To find it, I come to see, if there are green ghost light on a window of an old house. Or something else unusual.
I am in my study. Reading the great books. Stuff like Shakespeare. The Bible. World War Two history. It gets so lonely in here. I want a son. I sense a presence. My sense of hearing is a hundred times better than yours.
(you see lights in my basement. The blatantly unnatural lights of computer monitors.)
When I come the most weididest mansion with lions on facade, I feei this is the right place. There are no lights on ground and first floor, but there are light from basement! And it lis, of course, green. But I have to check if it is really a ghost, maybe, it is a mad scientist preparing his evil experiments. I fell allfours and crawl carefully to basement window. The place around looks very unmaintained: grass and trees are overgrown, so nobody shuold spot me. It looks like a wild forest. There are no dogs, but i feel some strange strong animal smell, I can't recall exactly what it is.

TF idea: constant adaptation
General | Posted 7 years agoIdea: any mammal (human included) can change into any other. Just live like a target animal to become it. Or, you could live with that animal for some time.
But when you grew up, the change become slower and harder. Until, when you adult you stop to change. For example: newborns change instantly after breastfeeding. Babies in a hour. Kids require from a day (3-5 years) to a week (7-10 years). Teens from month to a year. Your relative age remains.
The real reason for maturity is that only mature animals can make babies. The system which allows to change body also does not allow other organisms inside. If you forcefully impregnate still changing animal, it will absorb fetus. So they shut it down to enable breeding. Yes, there could be theoretically eternal Peter_Pans, but no one observed yet.
+The exact formula: time to change for a human in days is 400*x/(20-x)^2. Where x is human age in years.
So for age
0: instant
6 month: 13 hours.
1 year: 1 day
5: 9 days
7: 16 days
10: 40 days
12: 75 days
15: 240 days
18: 1800 days (you sure can't change enough now)
20: you are too late.
This scale is for equal size changes. There are extra time for mass change because it is biological, not magic. If your change time is one day, you can drop 1/2 or raise 1/25 of your weight. If difference is bigger, it slows accordingly. (formula needs polishing)
There are no anthros, if somebody is "adult", he/she starts to change into "nearest" animal then stops as it. For example, if he is more fox than human, his maturity delays until he is 100% fox. Of course, there are always some traces of your previous forms, but only cosmetic ones: unusual eye colors, hair pattern, slightly pointed ears. Former humans retail their human experience and intellect, but they are hard to develop it. There are no magic learning, if you make a dog into a human, you got a human with short dog life education. Same about humans: you have to learn animal language.
Because of this, person can change into an animal only 2-3 times in his life maximum for very short period. Each would cost him some years of fast growth.
The change back to human is almost always slower then into animal because animals mature very fast. For example, if you change into a mouse, you have very slim chance to become 51% human before you are grown-up. Exceptions are whales and elephants, which grew slower. There are no magic clocks (at 00:00 on your 18's birthday), everybody matures his own time. You can find it only by trial and error (maybe, some complex biochemical analysis).
Because all mammals are the same species in this world, there are no biochemical barriers. But - there are some changes in civilization:
* no contact between kids and animals allowed. You can have a parrot, fish, turtle, but no pet dog or cat. At least, until you are old enough. No farm vacations. Limited zoos or circuses.
* Animal breeding is very hard not to make babies instead of puppies. There are problems in zoos: you touched the rarest fawn to measure it - there are no more fawns. Of course, you can do it intentionally.
* Animals could use this too to change one into another.
Possible settings:
1. A mystery island (or other location). Yes, like those with donkey theme parks. But you can change both directions only there, not outside. For small groups or single persons.
2. A distant planet. Little human colony.
3. Sudden reality rules change for Earth. Maybe, for humanity, or even for pets.
4. A world where biology works that way from the very beginning. Civilization grew adapted to it long ago. But not readers.
But when you grew up, the change become slower and harder. Until, when you adult you stop to change. For example: newborns change instantly after breastfeeding. Babies in a hour. Kids require from a day (3-5 years) to a week (7-10 years). Teens from month to a year. Your relative age remains.

TF story idea: Kushtaka (free to use)

A children into Kushtaka (Alaskan otter-man) TF.
A summer camp in Alaska, which has forbidden zone. A group of children
explores this zone and found abandoned-looking village with unusual
small homes. They try to play there, and while playing started to
change. Then, real owners come and adopts them.
Or, some children are separated from the group and lost in forest. They
try to find a help, ottermans helped them, but they are cursed to
become otter each time humans see them (or, the less distance between
them and humans the more feral they looks) . They returned to their
family, but do not recognized and pit into a zoo, where they are locked
because they are in the center of a city.
Who: 3 children, 12 years old, friends, boy-scout clothes.
Marc: boy, athletic, tan skin, black hair, strong build, likes sports
ans thinks humans are supreme creatures.
Bill: boy, computer nerd, thin, red hair, white skin with freckles,
likes reading books
Jen: girl, likes nature, afro-american, likes horror.
How: during their trip on Alaska.
Who: kushtaka, native otter-people.
Into what: Kushtaka pups. no mature nor TG.
How: Kushtaka looks like a normal otter when humans are nearby. When
they are alone, they looks like ottermans. But, if there are much more
kushtaka then humans, they can force themself to assume humanoid shape.
if they do it, all humans are lured to join them. If they are in
contact long enough, they started to change into a kushtaka too. If a
human runs away, the change is stopped.
There are some ways to reverse TF. The easiest is to touch some human
-made item when there are no kushtaka around. Or, you can escape to
humans. This is why they are always trying to remove everything which
remind their human life from still changing humans. But it works only
before change competes. After it, a powerful shaman needs who, of
course, can do anything.
The secret: kushtaka are reality benders. They do not need to bite or
feed humans, just keep them nearby. Their reality is a world with
humanoid otters. But humans are reality-benders too. Their reality
contains only humans or otters, so everybody in-between changes into
their nearest form when human see it. Because chldren's reality is
weaker, they could be converted easily.
There are ultimate reality benders called shamans. They are trained to
voluntary do everything they want. For untrained humans they look like
native Indians, but really - there are no more "really" for them. Every
living being can become a shaman, but it requires a lot of time and
skills.
Detailed:
* Kustaka have the ability of Reality change. It could be turned on or
off. It could be trained. New ones ability is weak.
* Humans have the ability of Reality Stabilization. It is always on. It
is like a field around their bodies, increasing with age.
* Human artifacts have this ability too. The more complex an item the
stronger it is. Webcams and ID chips are very complex items.
* Shamans are (relatively) free from Reality. They are no more
human|otters|kushtakas at all. They can see other fields and manipulate
it.
* Overturning Reality stabilization field of an item destroys this
item.
no humans, off: previous condition (otter or otterman).
no humans, on: otterman (default form).
any human items, off: otter
=, on: otterman, but they have to overturn vs items each time.
1 child, 1-2 kushtaka, on or off: otter
1 child, 3 or more kushtaka, off: otter
1 child, 3 or more kushtaka, on: otterman, child changes into a
kushtaka, the more kushtaka the faster, the more human items are the
slower.
1 adult, 1-9 kushtaka, on or off: otter
1 adult, 10 or more kushtaka, off: otter
1 adult, 10 or more kushtaka, on: otterman, adult changes into a
kushtaka, the more the faster.
1 skeptic adult: need 20 or more kushtaka.
1 shaman, any number of kushtakas: kushtaka can freely change as there
are no human at all. Shaman can change kushtaka into human and back.
Shaman could not be changed if not wants.
Kushatka can voluntary change into an otter by touching some human
item. It damages this item. They can not do it voluntary.
Kushtaka can make their own artifacts allowing humans to change. But
they are still in stone age, so their artifacts are weak.
Kushtaka can not change a wild otter (or other wild animal) into
kushtaka (or, maybe, they do not want). They can change otters who were
humans before no matter how they turned.
Human can lower his resistance against change. But it is hard.
Human can force half-changed human to become full otter or full human,
depending of his perception. If he thinks that it is otter, he helps to
complete change. Otherwise, he helps to reverse it.
It is not easy to see kushtaka in their true form. If a human is not
trained, he feels discomfort, nausea and increasing headache. It is
very easy to think that was a hallucination. All photos give otters or
the camera breaks.
