Well, just released the first post-launch patch for Snow In Summer. Not any major bugs or anything, just a few tweaks to make it nicer. Giving some alternative options for seducing Marric, lowering the boss fight encounter odds, and fixing a bit of text in the intro that made some links harder to see. Also write a devlog over on itch.io that shows a bit of what is going on under the hood, how some of the mechanics work and why I made them that way, and how I control the vast variety in the game! And remember to favorite either the promo image or short story on here with the links if you liked it. Itch.io doesn't really have a favoriting system as cut n dry as on FA, so. If you like it, let me know.

Some of you may noticed, the CYOA status is no longer a pinned post; because the status is 100%. Snow In Summer has entered Alpha testing phase. So, in preparation for release, I make this request; if you like it, favorite it. If you know anyone, anywhere who might also like it- drop them a link to it. I am the Unsung Writer after all; I generally have zero human contact so the interactions here on my content is as close to interacting with another living creature as I get. So obviously my own ability to signal boost the story is extremely limited. Obviously if you don't like it, don't favorite it- I am not telling you to just pity favorite to boost numbers. But if you do like it, remember to favorite and/or comment, and if you can, signal boost it to others.

This project took an entire year, or even two depending on where you want to draw the starting line. In terms of actually putting the actual story together- yea, a full year. Of such dedicated work that I haven't played a video game really in over a year, I haven't sat down and watched a show or movie in like two or three years. Working on this project has essentially been the only thing I have allowed myself to do. Sometimes requiring 16 hour programming sessions that trail so far into the following day that the sun is already up again by the time I can sleep. So, as you can imagine; I want to give this the best chance I can to reach as many people as possible. Alpha testing will take about a week, roughly at least, to ensure everything runs smoothly before dropping it into full release.

Just trying to entertain people with a story/game, and give people the happily ever after the real world clearly has no interest in giving them.

Sorry for a complete lack of updates, but struggling with a bout of depression after itchi.io changed their policy on adult material, which meant there is nowhere to put my CYOA content. FA doesn't support HTML files. As you can imagine the psychic damage was super effective. That, and my city has been blanketed in smoke from forest fires the last week and the temperatures are hovering around 30C. In Canada. The place that is notoriously supposed to be cold. I start sweating in 10C, 20C is too hot. 30C is my mind is in an unending state of panic, like an insect that fell into a camp fire except there is nowhere to go and nothing I can do but fucking cook alive. I cannot sleep in this heat, I have no appetite, and my hyperfixation basically inverts and suddenly its like I have ADHD. I am so dehydrated my body is getting stiff because my tendons are half mummified at this point.

I don't even turn the lights on because the lightbulb gives off too much heat. It is so hot here that my TV is turning blue- because the phosphor coating on the white LCDs is melting off. Can't afford to fix that. It is so hot the fan I use in the back window melted. The metal screws got so hot they melted the plastic case and the engine fell off inside the blade cage. It is now being held in place with an old shoelace tied to a knife on the back of it. We ordered an AC for the downstairs at least at the start of the year... months later called to find out where the hell it is, and the moron didn't even put in the order in their office, so the people he works for were not even aware we placed an order in the first place. And it took so long to figure this out that they sold out of the ACs because summer hit, so now months after THAT we still don't have one. Do we not have it because they're still sold out, or because they forgot to actually put the order through again? Who knows!

Anyway, the next story was supposed to come out a few days ago but heat make brain no work... it IS done, like, right now. But it is also getting an illustration, which has delayed it further. Because unsurprisingly the heat also makes me draw slow. So, either tonight, or early tomorrow. Probably early tomorrow- I don't like posting too late because then no one is around to see it. But who knows. It ain't far off either way.

So, you may have noticed I am starting to work on the endings of the current CYOA Snow In Summer, which means it is very close to done...ish. Once I am done writing it all in I still have a long list of to-dos to add to it, set up some global mechanics properly once all the pieces are in place, and then Alpha test everything and bug fix. But it is still close to done regardless. So this puts Change For A Dollar closer to production time. It was already a bit ambitious to think of another CYOA before I finished the current one, but Change For A Dollar is so mechanically different and also full erotica so it is kind of a beast of its own. But I also noticed only one person actually commented on the original announcement post, and when I made a post asking for people's proffered forms only two people spoke up and it was after the post was already up for two days.

So... do people actually want Change For A Dollar in the first place? It would be a gigantic project that would take a very long time to make so if only a small handful of people actually want it in the first place, I probably shouldn't do it. Then again a lot of my content seems to have been tapering off a bit in favorites, maybe i'm just washed up and people have stopped following me in general.

So it basically comes down to a choice of 600 TFs and 1 story or 600 stories and 1 TF. Because to make Change For A Dollar it would take the majority of my time and thus like the last year I wouldn't be able to release as many regular stories because i'm working on the CYOA all the time. But Change For A Dollar would have 600+ transformations in it. If I don't do it, I would have more time to do regular erotica which obviously have nowhere remotely close to that many TFs but there would in exchange be more stories. I guess it also depends on how the current CYOA does too; obviously if this one flops I will probably be dead inside and retire from writing altogether.

Okay so, arms, legs, body, head... genitals. Tail? Should tail be a separate target, or just mirror body or legs? Anyway.
Yes, I am not done the current CYOA so I am obviously not going to be actually working on the next one for a long, long while. BUT that doesn't mean I cannot be THINKING and PLANNING the next CYOA now. And probably should be. A project that big needs careful planning. Change For A Dollar certainly won't be story-heavy in the slightest but it will be complicated in that it will have a lot of options.

So, what I have been thinking of recently- what base parts am I working with? What are you allowed to use in the story to TF with? I am currently shooting for 25 different animals, and 10 exotic forms. Exotic are stuff like PE, BE, WeightGain, Shrinking, Giant, CTF, Multiboob, etc. But what animals should I select? Some of them are kinda 'well duh' but others not so much. Like bugs! I have to have at least one bug available but like... there are a lot of different types of bugs and they are wildly different from one another. But bug isn't a particularly popular choice, so how many of the 25 choices do I dedicate to bugs realistically?? Lizard? Lots of them but how many do I actually put on the roster? Donkey and horse have very different vibes but both are equine so do I really have them as separate options?

25 different species, but they can be applied individually to the different parts, and there is 5 or 6 targetable body parts. So the actual options for your TF are actually 25x6 .... 150 different transformations. Oh... but also you can select three different characters who are Male, Female, and Herm, which affects the TF via gender... which means there is actually 450 different transformations planned. And some changes bleed into one another- changing two bodyparts side-by-side can result in some traits affecting others. I also plan to have the different body parts of the various animals affect overall mass, keeping track of your compounded size and body weight. 25 is also, like, max scenario. I don't need to use all 25 possibilities. It is just that if I am going to be using one variable to keep track of all changes, and I use the letters of the alphabet to represent each species, there are 25 letters in the alphabet (uhm actually there are 26. Yes, i am aware. There also needs to be a default human designation- and that obviously doesn't count as a TF). So I can't have more than that. Exotic TFs would use numbers- and thus I could have ten. 0-9. If we cannot brainstorm 25 good enough options- I can definitely go lower, lol.

Before anyone mentions a mythic creature like a Chimera, Centaur, Pegasus ; these pre-determined hybrids will appear as wildcards, not selectable targets. Almost all of them are hybrids of other existing parts from other creatures- so it makes a lot more sense to offer the component parts than it is to pick the parts off a creature that is already a jumble of parts before you did anything.

No idea when these will come out specifically other than soon™, but I figured I would make a journal post to announce these few erotica are in the works because these four specifically are returning offenders, lol. Two sequels to past stories, and two past stories being re-written with a new coat of paint! Like Horse Cooties getting Equinizer recently.

Woodland Wood (remaster)
Yup, this old story is getting completely overhauled. So much is getting changed it is almost like a new story just piggybacking the premise of the old one. First off, one rabbit TF in a story that is otherwise all deer? Yea, throw that out. Now add more friends- now we got 5ish people to deer TFs. Male and female, maybe even a gender swap character in there too, why not? The plot itself is also getting a pretty heavy rework because I am bringing it more in-line with another deer story...

Grand Theft Arcane : Sans Moralis
The chaotic TFs of a transwoman unintentionally hijacking the wishes of two other people from a fountain! This time the MC is male and has stolen a considerable amount of coin from other people- only to momentarily fall into the fountain when he is making his getaway. The stolen coins entering the fountain trigger several wishes- and because the coins do not belong to him; it isn't his wishes that get granted, even though he unintentionally becomes the target of them.

Split The Difference (remaster)
Remember this one? Weee lil baby story from a million years ago. Anyway- was very popular in spite of the entire story being, like, a single page long. I don't imagine I can make it too long because I am not upgrading the plot in any way- but I DO think I can expand on the details a little better than that, so I am re-visiting it. To keep things fresh though... I have decided to swap the species out with deer. Otherwise the story will remain the same, just... actually go into detail of the TF instead of trying to speedrun it.

Don't Fix It
And last but not least- by a long shot. The original story is almost in my Diamond Collection (100+ favorites). In If It Isn't Broken we visited the town of Gracefront as a POV of an outsider who was meant to just be passing through. Finding out the entire town is now run by dogs who turned their owners into dogs and themselves into human! Most dog owners in the town had little to complain about and the town is being run just fine in spite of its management all being former pets. In Don't Fix It we return to Gracefront to follow the story of a man who had left the town on business, which means he might have missed the memo on what happened while he was away. His girlfriend and her now-human-sometimes dog have been having fun with one another in his absence and try a look-don't-tell approach to break the news to him only to discover a quirk of the magic no one else yet had. If you transform while pressed against someone you miiiight sort of fuse with them. So now all three of them share a single, hyper endowed body. A struggle that will take them around town to a few other dogs in an attempt to cure themselves and break into their individual bodies again before they completely forget who is who.

Yes, I am still alive. I know its been 3 months since I posted a journal (well, unless you count updates to the pinned progress journal). Figured it would be worth mentioning now that the work on the CYOA is far enough along that at this point its easier to list what I haven't done yet rather than what I have. In spite of being a short story, there is enough little variances in basically everything that it is statistically unlikely for anyone to ever see absolutely everything in the story.

We got five people who can be seduced- two of which have two separate sex scenes depending on how you seduced them, and a bonus sixth person who can be seduced and also has the power of God and Anime transformation on their side. Thanks to that, you can do that same sex scene 24 times in a row, choose some different combo every time, and get a new scenario. So if you count variants- there is actually 31 sex scenes.

There is 5 fights you can get into, one with an alternate scenario, a 1/3 chance your current run ends in a Boss Battle, a unique end boss battle for the combat-only playthrough, and a hidden boss in the Perfect Ending. Each with their own mechanics- the fights change according to your spec... well, except the combat only run since you can't get to that boss without already having maxed combat.

Five endings, four short origin stories to unlock, tokens for beating it with specific builds, and the ability to free-roam the mansion to find your own way to victory.

So what is left to do? Well, two major things- the ending sequences which trigger once you have already stolen the gem (so Bittersweet ending or higher). They do not always trigger- there is a 1/3 chance you will have a boss battle instead, so two-thirds of the time you will get an end sequence in order to escape after getting what you need, failing the sequence will give you the Bittersweet Ending, succeeding will give you the Good Ending or higher. The other major thing is programming and writing in the yard area- which is a very big space that connects to a lot of other areas, so a lot of different things can happen there.

But that is essentially it. For major stuff, anyway. There is a ten mile long list of tweaks, fixes, and minor stuff to add into stuff I already made, and I have to write in the various rooms that connect to these greater spaces but those are relatively minor in comparison. The individual rooms only have one way in and out and are just one, enclosed, controlled space. In terms of just getting all the building blocks in place- it is almost done. Just lots of little fussing left, making everything works smoothly, all the features are enabled for every area, etc.

I will post another journal before launch. It is awkward to measure progress on the original, pinned post anymore because I am doing lots of small stuff all over the place, but I will keep adding notches to the main progress bar at least, lol.

So, sorry it took 9 additional days than my other updates to my profile, but oh MAN what an absolute clusterfuck of code to get that looking mostly correct. I have updated my profile page to have quicklinks to many additional stories now from different categories, trying to pick the best representation for each! Also going back through older stories to grab the link for the representative story- realized you don't actually need to go that far back in my collection before you start to see stories with 'the great wall of text' sized paragraphs. Makes me wanna go back and mash the enter key while flipping through some of them and reupload them, but I have a lot of work ahead of me and can't afford to be progressing backwards. It isn't like they are unreadable, they are just... chunky.

And speaking of, one story guilty of this is one of the Triumvirate Of Three, and a very popular story from my collection for a long time. I always sort of hated the name, it is cute but... a little too cute, y'know? So, no for-sure release date yet, but soon. It is being remastered, and getting much bigger and more powerful than you could imagine! I am aiming for a remaster like Wet Scenes : Overstuffed to Long Standing Member. A story that was formerly three or four pages total, made into an Epic Class. So this is the official announcement of;

I mentioned this before, sort of- before it was fully fleshed out and had a scheduled production time. Change For A Dollar is a Transformation erotica CYOA; you choose the change. You find an ancient coin which allows you to make a transformation based wish, but you are not the only person in possession of one of these coins. When two other people appear at Castle Greivanhal the Faeries in charge decide to have a little fun. They will pit you against one another in a competition; whoever has the most functional form after all the wishes have been made gets to keep their shape as an alternate form they can freely switch to- the other two get turned back to normal and its better luck next time for them. Select from three available modes;
Casual Mode - Choose what animal you want to borrow parts from and choose the body part you want to apply said change to, tadah! The Fae in charge will rate your form based on its overall functionality to determine which of the three humans wins- but really, you've already experienced the TF, so you win either way.
True Mode - Choose what body part and what animal trait you want to apply- and hope the other two do not target you. There are three MC but you can only play as one- the two you do not choose become your opponents and there is nothing saying that you have to apply the transformation to YOUR OWN body. In order to win the competition you can sabotage their transformations- and they can sabotage yours as well potentially. But it isn't all bad; the NPCs have access to Exotic Class transformations you do not; being targeted by a spell you don't have access to will unlock it as an option for you to use later on. So... maybe you wanna get fucked up a little?
Chaos Mode - The only rule is there are no rules. The mode for if you just want to see TF and don't really care. Bartender? Surprise me. You will draw five cards for five different parts of your body which determines the order of the TF and then five cards of different animals which determines which part gets which traits, resulting in a random full body transformation. But just to keep you guessing; Chaos Mode also contains pre-set form cards that have animal traits that are unobtainable in the other modes.

Subterfuge System : Whichever characters you are not currently playing as are you opponents and each has their own personality. Each has a couple predetermined forms they are shooting for in the competition- ending the competition with all of your desired parts nets you a huge bonus that guarantees you win unless someone else also did it, in which case the winner is the most functional form. It is a free-for-all so the NPC can both target one another or target you, or... just target themselves. It is a random chance they will target anyone at all, but you can talk to one of them prior to the next transformation and based on what they say, determine whether or not they are planning an attack... but you can only talk to ONE of the two. They prepping a spell for an animal trait that isn't IN their desired form? Obviously the spell isn't for them- but they could be targeting the other NPC still, and not you. If you target someone who was also targeting you, you cancel their spell and land yours, messing up their form and wasting their turn. If you target them and they were just minding their own business- you've basically guaranteed that they will target you on the next turn. Go aggressive and re-target them? Bad move; you will cause the other NPC to consider you a threat and then they will BOTH target you at the same time, messing up two of your parts in the same turn. Maybe you can learn something via your conversations with them to use as leverage to force them to target the other person, or threaten them into leaving you alone- your call, but depending on their personality, some options just don't work on specific characters. Or have the opposite effect.


As a CYOA with a long list of both species and fetish based transformations that can be used in any combination on five different parts of the body... this will take a very, very long time and a lot of work to complete. So this is the primary project for Year Of The Hybrid. Hope you'll look forward to it!

Okay so I shuffled last month a bit, maaaybe terminated a story I announced before and then used the gap to fill in a requested story from forever ago. But I also shuffled things up enough that I felt confident in doing another requested story at the start of December, so yey- ya'll get one more erotica this month than originally planned. However, it is already December- a full week in at that, and uh... my little brother(dog) just died today. So, I have a memorial to make. So once again the schedule is a bit iffy. I might be crying into my kneecaps curled into the fetal position in a corner for a couple of years.

The original plan- and the one I am still going to *attempt* to meet- was to have the requested story out by the 8th, the Christmas erotica by the 15th, the Christmas illustration on the 16th ... and then the Year's End Finale any time BEFORE January 1st, because its a huge story so I can't give it too rigid of a release window. There is also an illustration I want to do up for January 1st or as close to it as possible, since my 'Year Of The Longroad' is over for stories- time to announce the theme of next year's stories. Well, assuming my heart doesn't just give up and stop beating, lol. I am rigged to an even bigger and clunkier heart monitor device now because my heart apparently just stops beating sometimes aaaand hearts aren't supposed to do that.

So yea, don't be too shocked if my schedule falls behind by who knows how long, but I will still try to get everything out, if not by the original deadline then hopefully still this year :X

This happened last November but since it is Halloween I figured I would share the story of the time I seen a Ghost Car! I was walking my dog in the dead of night on a path along the river- there is no lights on the path at all so we were in pitch darkness. But at the end of the path there is a road going the other way, that passes over a bridge going over the river. One of the streetlights was flickering, turning from bright to dim rapidly for a while, but then a car comes slowly up onto the bridge and the streetlight blinks out entirely- bridge goes pitch black. The car slows to a stop and turns its headlights off. That is really weird already- but at the time I wasn't really thinking about it. I just assumed they slowed to a stop because the light blinking off made them nervous about crossing the bridge... but, in hindsight- if that was true, why the fuck did they turn their headlights off and make it MORE dark?

Anyway, the streetlight was only off completely for half a minute and blinked back on, resuming its flickering from dim to bright... except now the car is gone. It stopped in the darkness and vanished without having driven back off the bridge. You may say- well it drove away in the darkness and you just didn't see it. No, I would have seen it. Only the light ON the bridge went out- the streetlights on either side of the bridge were still on so it would have had to have driven through the light and been visible again in order to exit the bridge. So it never drove off the bridge, it just straight up vanished.

Don't mind me, just dying over here. Rofl, just kidding I am probably fine, it just feels like I am dying because my heart keeps randomly stopping and the doctor still hasn't checked it fully. But in spite of that I have been dragging my half-dead ass through progress. *see you looking at how little I have been posting* I am working on the CYOA! Of course it looks like I am not doing anything, you don't see it till its done and I am not done yet! But I will get to that in a bit- first, pick a species any species;

Well, seems they recently announced Subnautica 2 under development so... time to dust off some old ideas that have been sitting in the idea pool for too long and getting pruned fingers. As for my CYOA progress? Working my way through the romance option of the story. Yes, the sex scenes. To avoid it being just a wall of text story-within-a-story sort of deal; there are a few choices you can make during the event, but don't worry, you can't actually fail. You will still have sex regardless of what choices you make, it just changes the dialog immediately after the fork. Or at least that is what it looks like on the surface. The story will keep track of whether or not your partner enjoyed your choice, so while choosing the wrong option won't negatively impact you; the story will remember. On NG+ when you ask Paige to review your stats several new entries will be added besides your basic stats that were not there the first time around- one of those will be your Romance Level, which adds up all the 'correct' choices you made while banging people at the party.

Why? Just a fun little thing to keep track of and that you could make a side-objective of if you wanted. Another carrot on a stick to chase, lol. There are minor bonuses still however- if you manage a Romance Level of 7+ the next NG+ you enter, you will have the option of either spending the day with Jim Baque or Paige. Originally when you start the story you have most of the day prior off, but someone is in Paige's library at the time limiting what you can say, and Jim was on duty, leaving you mostly to yourself- that changes when you have a high enough romance level. And, if you have already been on the date with Paige- the next, next NG+ will give you the option to have sex with Paige. And unlike the other romance options in the story- Paige has full access to transformation magic.

STILL haven't finished all the laundry from that little disaster days ago now but, did manage to get some productivity punched in to try and make up for it. Dunno if I can finish it in on go, but tomorrow I am going to be working on the next erotica Mixed Dorms which will be mass TF and hybridization. In preparation for the big number I also finally finished my celebration image for 15,000 total favorites! Now you may be wondering why I haven't posted it then since my profile says I am a good bit over 15k. Well, I am actually not. The profile page stats are how many favorites I got, not how many I HAVE currently. The actual number is 14,768 atm, so, not quite there. I also started the next TF comic but only have the lines for page 1 so far :X, bit behind on that.

And my programming code disaster? Fixed. Well, sort of- I still haven't the faintest clue what actually went wrong so I just redid the format entirely. It is bigger and more spread out which isn't great on my end but from the reader's perspective it won't really make a difference, and it works, so, good enough. I have finished inputting 2/4 turns, and need to implement special trigger events after that may end up breaking things but I am not adding those till after I get all 4 turns working normally. I hope this CYOA gets lots of traction when its out, its got a lot of potential and I am super hype for it. Honestly doing real decent progress in terms of speed too. I only started FULL production a bit over a month ago, and once I get all these fights implemented that is technically 1/5th of the whole CYOA done.

So to celebrate getting back on track or... getting almost back on track anyway; I shall unveil this Halloween's hidden second story.

Curse Of Bliss 2 : The Blight Of Beauty

Or dead in the water, we will see. Anyway, my mother's second husband is apparently a parasite ridden mongrel and now we have to wash every single thing in the entire house and cover ourselves in this weird medicinal cream because HE is infested. And you'd think, eh that ain't so bad. My bed is very difficult to make, I have 12 pillows a fur blanket, 5 quilts, 3 regular blankets and four sheets... that is an entire day of doing nothing but laundry, just to clean my bed alone. Guess I am supposed to sleep on the floor in the meantime. And this comes a day after I walked the dogs so my knee is buckled- joints hard as a rock and I can barely walk at all, on top of the heat going back up and the humidity skyrocketing. Also, I am not going to want to touch anything to be able to DO anything if I am covered in disgusting cream shit, its against every fiber of my being to use these glorified skin drugs. And it needs to remain on for eight days soooo... my schedule is basically completely destroyed, because I can't do literally anything for eight days. I have to sleep on the floor which already sucks but also like... how tf am I could to feed my dog, I can't touch the food without getting the disgusting skin goo on it. Can't use my keyboard n mouse, can't use my console, I can't even touch the remote to turn my TV on. So I guess I am going to be sitting on the floor staring at the walls for eight days because of this trash bag of a human being.

And my schedule was filled to mid january so this giant hole is going to shove EVERYTHING back. I can't even give you a guess as to where things will land yet.

And don't even get my started with how programming the CYOA went today! Already written and values calculated, just had to program it in...took the entire day to program in one turn, test it...option 1 and 5 work fine, every other option just displays nothing for no apparent reason. They copy and paste from the same code format so how the fuck do two of them work and not the others?! It doesn't even give me an error message, it just displays nothing! AAAAAGH. Well off I go to stare at a wall of eight days...

Oooh, I am excited FOR you- I got a lot of good stuff lined up that I think will be popular. I mean; I never know till I post really, but I have a good feeling. I have a stand-alone image I actually finished a day ago but I am not posting yet because I don't want to pull attention away to what I already put up. Kick In The Dairy Air+ unfortunately went up a day before the site went kaboom for a day or two (I was gone for three days because I don't have Discord to get a confirmation the site was safe again). Well, I DO have Discord but I have no idea how to use it, and don't know my own login information so if it ever logged me out I wouldn't be able to get back in, rofl. I will wait till Give And Take hits 50 favorites and enters the elite collection to post more stuff. Both other entries in the magic toys series have 86 favorites so, it should be able to make elite fairly fast.

Anyway, the image coming up? Goat. Then I got a Wet Scenes scheduled that is a rapid-fire multi-tf, then a gay equine sort-of attribute theft style transformation story, and theeen a pony TF! No not like a real pony, like MLP style pony form. I also have a prehistoric TF comic planned but who knows when I will get around to THAT.

As for the CYOA? I am currently on day 3 of programming a single one of the 6 possible fights. At least after I do this once, I can copy and paste it for future fights and just swap the text out mostly, place the alt. skill checks in different positions. After dumming down the choices I planned already- with only 3 forking choices in the fight, it still requires 18 passages, minimum. Because each attack leads you to another passage- I set the transition to instant so it looks like its refreshing the same page but its a different page each time. One of the main reasons for doing this is because the page won't refresh after the fact; if you actually hit refresh on your browser it would reset the entire story. So if an enemy takes damage and you remain on the same page- their health won't actually change. Because the story loaded his health and the page at the same time, before you did damage, so it doesn't show the update till you go to another page. For a little visual flare, health is displayed like 'Your Health: //////////', you have 100 by default and so does every enemy. So if you had 40hp left it would look like 'Your Health: ////'. Each notch represents 10hp, simulating a health bar without actually having any graphics.

So, if you have a lvl1 Combat you are only going to deal 10hp per attack landed, which means it has to be 10 turns long, thus 10 different passages by default. Then 1 for victory and loss, then if there are 3 choices in the battle- a passage for each choice and an alternate outcome for the following page depending on what choice you made, so 6 more.

Fighting is controlled by the Combat/Medical skill, obviously, but regardless of your build you can still encounter the people you'd have to fight in a battle-only run, which means it still needs to be -possible- to beat them regardless of your skill. If you go in with lvl0 Combat you could theoretically win by rolling 1 on Luck every time... otherwise you're basically dead, you're going to take colossal damage every turn. With only lvl1 Combat however, there are other opportunities to do damage. Though not very numerous, there will be chances to deal extra damage if your OTHER skills are high enough. When it comes to fighting Terastios himself- the fight needs to be fully do-able regardless of spec, so the flow of battle will change completely automatically according to your build but will also not work like a normal battle does; its a bit more scripted.

Don't worry, battle in the story are not you clicking 'Attack' over and over again and watching little damage numbers appear. Actually since I used a pseudo health bar system- you won't see the actual numbers at all. Each attack is written out and unique per turn but also unique according to what your combat level is- lvl1-3 each have a different attack, and since luck can cause you to hit above or below your current skill level, this should make the battles pretty dynamic. Then you have one or two alternate attacks with other skill levels, and then items you can bring that affect battle- like the Mythril Dagger. The dagger is meant as a crutch so you can win fights even if you chose to max out a non-combat skill, but if you take the dagger AND max out combat? You can end a fight in 3 turns potentially, and take no damage at all.


So.... hard as hell for me to put together and frustrating watching my one brain cell start smoking whenever the code decides to shit the bed, but it should be fun when it is done, and I am excited for its potential!

Edit: I had a dream! I think! I just randomly had an idea as soon as I woke up today and no idea why, but... do you guys think it would be worth it to implement a casino game into the CYOA?It would be very complicated for me to do but, I think I would actually be able to implement a blackjack and roulette table. Poker I think would be too much because I don't know how I would program all the card combinations for victory conditions because it isn't simple math. But also if I DID implement the minigame- remember there are no graphics it would be all text, and also... because you are breaking in, there would only be some very specific and limited paths you could take to even get at them in the first place, because they'd be surrounded by guests.

Alright, so, like with my first CYOA I will leave this update report here as a journal. I won't make any other posts for it- if there is another update I will edit THIS journal with the information rather than make multiple posts. This will sort of work as a checklist for me too but by putting it here ya'll get a good idea of where the status is at.

Overview: Snow In Summer will be more plot driven and game-like than my first CYOA. You will have trainable stats, luck, and plenty of branching options. The entire story will take place in and around a mansion. Both your stats and the item you choose to take at the start will determine which paths you can succeed with. So, pretty short story- but many different approaches and bonus goals to unlock. Also has several short stories with the main characters inside the CYOA as optional text!

So bit of a status update- still very hot but for at least two days now it hasn't been "I am in a perpetual state of dying" kind of hot so... maybe I am safe now? Now that Devil's Dog is out, the next story up will be... Give And Take, a story about a woman who conjures up a magic sex toy that can turn into whatever she desires... sound familiar? Sit, Girl was F tf dog, Stud In The Sheets was M tf horse- now the third story to complete the set; Give And Take will be FtH cow&bull hybrid. This is a prelude to the Year's End Finale which is decided to be; Don't Toy With My Heart, which brings together the cursed toys from all three stories, as they all exist within the came continuity as one another.

After that? Not quite sure- the second or third story from now will be a requested story, because I have three requested stories that have been sitting on ice thanks to my Year Of The Long Road plans, so be nice to finally thaw at least one of them out soon...ish. The Halloween story this year is already decided to be Little Devil. The story of a very timid woman who cannot find any form of relationship because she is too shy and skitters off whenever someone approaches her. To solve this; she uses a summoning spell played in reverse- going to the demon world to encounter her dark side, a Succubus from the realm of Lust. Her dark half possesses her to loan her its confidence but unfortunately its SO far in the other direction that she has a hard time not going all-out. The story will be sectioned off featuring various extreme 'exotic' class forms. And Christmass? Kinda scraping the bottom of the barrel for ideas on that holliday, haha. This time; Milk And Cookie, the story of a reindeer (named Cookie) who transforms into a human woman to be with a human she has fallen in love with, but the magic isn't super stable, so she unintentionally fluctuates forms while trying to keep her identify as an animal a secret. As you can probably guess from the title- shifting forms also instigates lactation, which makes it even harder to hold her shape.

As for other stuff; need a canine transformation comic or sequence to complete the set currently but have zero plans for it. I mean, I am planning to DO it, but I don't have a plan as to what it will BE/look like. Also, currently at 14,267 total favorites at the time of writing this. Going to make an image to celebrate 15k, but, I have a bit of time still for that. I won't say exactly what yet since I haven't even started working on it but, definitely udders, because that is what I am best known for at this point. I also still need to remake the Snow In Summer promo poster but I mean- probably smarter to release that closer to the release of the actual CYOA so there is a loooooooong time before I need to worry about that.



And speaking of- full production has started on the CYOA. I have basically complete the 33 pages of tutorial... don't sorry, a lot of it is optional/expandable text you can skip. You're definitely not going to need to read 33 pages every time you start the story, that would be insane. And NG+ will automatically skip all of it. I have the text for the training for the various skills you can learn at the start. There is 4 different skills you can learn and then Luck. Each skill requires 3 points to master, but you can train a total of 4 times so even if you get bad luck, you'll still pass a master level check regardless- there is no such thing as a lvl4 skill check. You get 4 skill points, but a 50/50 chance to get a 5th, and you have lvl1 slight of hand by default. After NG++ you will have good luck permanently, so you will effectively have 1 in every skill, and 2 in slight of hand by default

I already talked about the various levels of ending before- five, with minor variants of them. As a sort of completionist challenge mode thing however, there will be six collectibles you can get by beating the story different WAYS. When you go to steal the crystal there will be a coin beside it that signifies you beat the story using a specific path, and the coin will carry over into NG+ so you can potentially get all six together... maybe unlock something nice. For those who would rather wait and try to discover them on their own(and somehow still remember this post in the distant future when the game actually comes out), I will spoiler these here;
If you get through the whole story using only Slight Of Hand skill checks, you get the 'Where Is My Keys' coin.
If you do it only with Deception skill checks; 'Sounds Legit' coin.
Only Medical skills; 'Now You See Me' coin.
Only Magic skills; 'Now You Don't' coin.
If you max out your skill in Magic but then do not take the Shapeshifter's Key item... which is the whole point in learning magic in the first place- and then proceed to beat the story regardless, you get the 'Idiot Savant' coin.
And the one most people will get by accident- if you beat the story by passing at least one skill check for all four skills, you get the 'Hot Like Summer' coin.

So it encourages you to try different ways of getting through the problems.

Well I am still on 'my brain is boiling to death in my own overheated blood' leave from productivity, but I sort-of released a story last night, haha. For anyone who automatically glosses past the description of posts- the Horse Lovers TF image I posted has a mini story baked into it, in the description. I didn't even really plan that story, I winged the entire thing as I was already posting the image, haha. Seems to be doing great in popularity, which helps my mood after apparently both Heads Or Tails series stories did poorly D:. I kinda expected Heads Or Tails itself to do meh because he is such an unusual hybrid mix, but then it ended up doing better than Cow Eat Shark World! People didn't like the cute cow x shark couple?! Well damn. Now I am going to delay Devil's Dog till the sting of failure numbs a bit. Still going to write it relatively soon but not jumping the gun on that one since people are apparently not big on the series idea.

So, aside from the obvious, what is coming up? Well, I dunno if I lost all momentum because I am too hot to think straight, or the heat causing me to stop production on it for too long caused me to lose all steam but Unbound is once again on ice. My next of the major projects will be the CYOA- ramping up full production on Snow In Summer. Now, as for something small? I was thinking of what sort of TFs I could illustrate next while doing the equine image. I have deer now, horse&donkey, a mouse TF image, a woman > horse comic, a FtM boar comic, a MtF goat comic...er, sequence? It is only three images, so. Definately need canine at some point, but I think my next one I wanna try is a sequence (3-5 images) of a F tf Weasel, which means also shrinking... which means I really need to up my cloth drawing skills. Background will be ultra simplistic, but I want to have her wearing at least something when she TFs to give a sense of scale- because weasels are tiny, which means drawing some article of clothing at increasingly closer perspectives, lol. Will also probably have a mini story split across the images. The F tf Horse, MtF goat, and FtM boar comics all had mini stories too. I should have put one on the deer TF image too, oh well too late now.

As for something big? The next erotica up will be an oddball- man finds a low level slime and instead of ignoring it or killing it before it grows and becomes dangerous... he adopts it as a pet. After sucking on his DNA for long enough it replicates enough of his intellect to take on the form of a tiny human woman- and the boy has a pet goo girl eager to suck him off! The only issue is trying to keep her existence a secret while he lives in the school dorms- because every time he cums she absorbs the fluid and grows a little bit bigger. This will eventually escalate into balls expansion, hyper cum, shape-shifting proportions, and minor (not species altering) mass TFs on campus.

And for something colossal. I know; so far ahead of myself on this one it might sound like I am just talking out my ass. If I do not get on Beautiful Monsters, Unbound, or Rebound by the end of this year- consider the projects iced again- I am not dragging them out into next year, this year was 'Year Of The Longroad' so if I can't do them now, I am not messing up my regular erotica release schedule next year too. The CYOA is exempt from this- even if it ends up dragging into next year I will get it done, no matter what. But, while I will not bend my regular schedule around this next project, I do have the ideas in the works for a third CYOA! The first CYOA was an experience with a hidden plotline to witness all the unique forms and lifestyles of the many test subjects of RHEI. The second will be more game-like with tracked stats and a clear objective; an anthro heist. The third will be purely TF erotica.

'Change For A Dollar' will start with the MC helping an old person out and being rewarded an odd, ancient coin. When you pick an objective TF and they wish they had it- the coin transports them to a castle inside of a pocket-realm occupied by four Faeries; a cu sith, cait sith, silky, and spriggan. There will be three human characters transported to the castle at the same time, for the same reason- they each wanted to change themselves in some way, and all possessed one of the ancient coins. The Fae cannot leave the castle and had grown bored because no one else had come to visit them in so long that they want to make a game of it. Instead of simply giving the three of you the transformations you want- they give you free reign of the castle to find and use the methods of transforming on your own to try and get the desired result yourself. The person who is the most human when its over wins- and gets to leave. The other two have to stay, and be playthings to the Fae for a long while- or till the next human is teleported there to start another round of the game.

Change For A Dollar will have at least one path that is a direct competition- you VS the other trying to sabotage each other's TF. The rest of the paths will be split into two types- more simple TF with more action/plot in those TFed forms, each sort of like its own story within the overall story. And the rest will be light on plot but offer more customization in form, allowing hybridizing of multiple species and part specific hyper proportions, or multiplication. The three MCs will be male and female, and you'll be able to choose which you go through the story as- if you choose to be the man, the woman will be your opposition, if you choose the woman, the man will be your opponent. There will be another woman as a sort of neutral player just trying to get out of this in one piece- she will be trans, so while she looks very female she will have a tiny male package between her legs. This will make the third CYOA a sort-of hybrid of the other two. It has a clear plot and objective, so you can fail or succeed, but it will have a lot of variable endings, and there is no real clear path you are trying to follow- its kinda just go do whatever you want.

Well I double-posted stories tonight and you better make them last, rofl. It is currently like 37C in my room even though I have my AC on full blast every moment of every day with a fan on full blast directly across from it and my bed in the middle of them. I can't even turn the lights on in my room because the light bulb will generate too much heat. I can't even completely fill my lungs without deliberately trying to force more air in, because my body refuses to accept air of this temperature as breathable. Can't sleep right, no appetite, and I have the attention span of a hummingbird on crack. So I probably can't write or work on anything at all for a while, because its just too damn hot and my brain absolutely does not function in the slightest.

Also, you'll notice these two new stories I posted are both part of a new story world added to the folders in my gallery; Heads Or Tails, taking place on Coined Earth. The first is named after the series- following Jay as he sets foot in the new world because he makes a good audience surrogate because he is utterly oblivious to how any of it works. The next was how Ivory and Coral met. The next up I plan to be Laurence and Mark- a gay couple who make a brief appearance in the first story as well.

So I am cooking up a new story universe for erotica when I come to a real head scratcher philosophical question. So lets see what you guys n gals think.

In the multiverse theory- everything that can happen has already happened in another dimension; infinite earths to house the results of every possible fork in the road, and as more things become possible more Earths are created as all possible forks are explored. But here is the thing; you are a multicellular being. You are not really a singular life, you are hundreds of millions of lives... every cell in your body is technically a living creature. So then what happens if you were born as algae? In a universe in which you were instead born as a single cell organism, are you a single particle of algae, or are you an entire colony?

What about a multicellular being that is just not nearly as big as a human? Are you one, or are you two different beings? Because of the universal conservation of mass- every universe has basically the exact same space to work with and same number of molecules per universe, so the mass that made up your body should still exist in its entirety, so if there was too much mass to pack into one body in that universe, are you two different beings?



Also working on an stand-alone cervine TF image and the next erotica up is also deer themed, POV, might be short. Also two chapters into Unbound. I just started this illustration because I had time to burn one day- too little time to start anything else so I started a drawing instead... then realized I made the image far too big and complex so now I am going on two full days of working on it and still not done =_=;

Well, it took five months but I did it- second novella finished. The Shape Of You and now Last Leg are complete and released. So what is next? I actually didn't know the answer to that myself up to the last day or so- it took so long to finish that novella that I sort of lost the thread on anything else, lol. Unbound and Rebound were in the maybe pile before- Rebound is still definitely in the 'maybe' pile. I mean; I will write it, eventually, but whether I write it this year and all at once is the 'maybe' part. Unbound however has been upgraded to- yes I will do it, it is next in line. I already have the first chapter written from ages ago but I may need to re-write... most of it. I am also considering doing an illustration of the main character as a preview- sort of like how I released the Last Leg + illustration eons before the actual novella.

But before I start working on that again, I should wedge at least one regular erotica in between, ya? Well someone pointed out I unintentionally made a cow-themed month last month, which means a lot of the stories were also female... or at least female-coded transformations. So today I am going to try to start writing Training Your Boyfriend- a M tf Dog story. I may do the Prince And The Ass story that got last-place in a previous story vote, but swap genders? So Princess And The Ass- so the TFed character is male. Then a yet unnamed short story with F & M tf deer. And then How To Tune A Vixen, which is an anthro BE story. This isn't the order I will write them in- I don't know what the order will be; this is just the four hovering at the top of the list. I will release at least one of these before I start to write Unbound again.

So what did everyone think of the formatting for Milk It? It was harder work on my end obviously because I had to write three stories instead of one, BUT I was able to have three fully fleshed out transformations in one story without it being a gigantic story, and if you're only interested in one type of TF you can just read the version with that TF, and you get it almost entirely isolated even though it shares the storyline with the other TFs. Yea that was a really long run-on sentence, who needs periods anyway. So, is this split perspective something I should consider for future stories too, or just stay something unique to Milk It?





On a completely unrelated topic, writing chaotic TFs and the temperature in my house getting suddenly hotter than the inside of our oven made me have a weird dream the other night of aliens beaming people up, experimentally transforming them and then putting the TFed abominations back when they were done with them, but the transformations were contagious and unintentionally started an extinction event where everyone was turning into weird monsters. Then me and some friends found Geoff Ramsey and somehow convinced him to loan us a transport truck to try and evacuate and we immediately destroyed the truck, and then I woke up. And out of all that strangeness the first thing I thought after I woke up was 'who the hell was I with in the dream? I have never had any friends.'

So here is something I never bothered to plan ahead of time... how should I actually release Milk It? I have gone the three story route, so it will be broken into three stories

Milk It : Heavy Cream
Milk It : All Fours
Milk It : Cattle Prod

But now how do I release them? I have already written the Heavy Cream version, but should I post it now, or wait for the other two to be written first? This took two days, so for all three to be done you are looking at 2-4 days, assuming I do nothing else, which is unlikely. Because all three are technically the same story, it's not a series of three stories- it's three perspectives of one story. I am also considering making an illustration for it... currently leaning toward Jerrik, the MtF TF, but we'll see because I am not working on that till all three parts are already done.

So do I post them as I finish them, or wait till all three parts of the story are complete and release it all at once?

So, the next story is set up to be Be Careful, the prequel to What You Wish For, it will be multi-tfs and merging. I am going to try to get it done withing the next week-ish. The next story after that? Well, I was leaning heavily toward Moo Therapy because it was last place in one of the previous story votes and the only story that got a vote toward it that has not yet been picked off. But there are some new contenders... three stories concepts that are so new they do not yet exist in my idea pool. And also don't really have names yet, either. They also get progressively weirder in terms of form. So, how weird we willing to go? Place your vote for the regular erotica that comes after Be Careful! Keep in mind I am also still working on the novellas and CYOA primarily so I don't know when exactly this story will be due, but, obviously not too far in the future.

Moo Therapy- well, duh. F tf Cow, mental changes too, gradual. Nothing fancy or odd, but the gradual and mental aspects are emphasized in this one. By far the most normal story of this bunch.

Get Em Slugger- F tf Slug. This is half TF and half post-tf story, she does not become a specific slug but a hybrid of several and remains half human- can sweat mucus at will, humanoid shape but has no solid bones so she squishy. Also some inflation.

Light & Dark(actual name pending)- F dragon, M centaur, M human, merge. This will be a bit more story driven and thus has to be a longer story. A young man finds a cursed sword in an attempt to save his town from monsters. The sword is cursed because it houses two spirits, a cruel and obese female white dragon, and a noble black centaur who has the upper half of an anthro cat. They offer to help the young man, but in order to do so they have to possess his body- which half-transforms him into them... and also gives them control of his actions, allowing them to go free through him. The two absolutely hate one another though, so they play the devil and angel on his shoulders as they vie for freedom from the blade that imprisons them.

Form Blender(actual name pending)- F&M various animals, various hybrids. This one is weird mostly because of its unusual setting. Basically a country that lost a magic war and was sentenced to devolve into animals. What makes the setting particularly odd though is that the story will not follow any of the characters in it. The story will be told from a meeting place in an apartment building atrium. Characters come and go from this point but the readers perspective wont. So you'll see the characters changes in steps as they pass through, and learn of their experiences through their conversations with one another. To add a little spice to the mix- their transformations are all into various vanilla animals- but interactions and especially sex with a different to-be animal causes their traits to smear onto you, creating hybrids of varying degree. It means this will be lighter on the actual transformation details though since... a lot of the changes will be happening outside of the reader's viewpoint.

So apparently my DeviantArt account has to be abandoned now. Stories have been randomly vanishing on odd occasions from my gallery there, finally found out why. Their rules are just... terribly worded. And the rules that were seemingly just for illustrations are actually for stories as well. So, no erect penis, no genital fluids so no aroused females, no sex. See the problem? Their adult content doesn't exist outside of gore, basically. So I don't know why they have an entire page or contradictory rules when their policy can be summed up with 'it doesn't exist'. Like 'sexualized content that is not pornographic'. So, neither subject can be aroused in any way, they shouldn't be nude, they cannot be having sex... so then what is the sexualized content? There is no sexualized content outside of that! Nudity by itself isn't sexual nor even adult content- children can see animals, animal don't wear clothing. Michelangelo's David and the Birth Of Venus are in museums open to any age. Heck they are in Animal Crossing games, and those don't have an adult rating. So then what is left? Fetish content like vanilla inflation? Guess what? That isn't adult or sexual, either. You find that in children's cartoons, because its just a thing if you do not have the fetish. That is what makes it a fetish in the first place- it is only sexual to those who possess that specific fetish, its nothing to anyone else.

So basically DA will allow adult content as long as it isn't adult content. Yea, thanks for clearing that up, moron. This on top of the fact the site is already absolutely god-awful to begin with. Takes too much RAM than a regular site should, navigation is terrible and several menus are nested into themselves making it almost impossible to figure out. Like chat and notes- chat is IN notes but I can only find it on the mobile site, to this day I cannot figure out where the fuck the chat menu is supposed to be on the desktop version of the site, and because its inside of notes- getting a new chat message looks like you have a new note, but then open notes and there is nothing new, but the notification is still there. You cannot look at any of your own stats unless you pay a subscription service, the gallery menu is so dumb I barely even used it. And on top of that- an item that has always been a controversy over there; their terms of service gives them partial ownership of anything you post to the site while it is hosted there. They can slap your drawing on a T shirt and sell it for their own profit, or use your work in an advertisement without your further consent.

So, every story I ever wrote on there, every story I ever favorited, every story I ever read on there violates their rules. The only content I have ever interacted with on their site is against the site's rules. So I have over 300 violations of their rules in my gallery alone. They only exist because no one pointed them out yet- as soon as anyone points them out or a mod happens on it, it gets deleted. Not much point in posting to a site that might spontaneously combust your content. I didn't have a subscription there so I can't tell how popular I actually was, but I would say around 75% as popular there as on FA if not more, and now that is just dead to me. So now just FA and SoFurry... and my audience on SoFurry is bleak... as far as I can tell its just not a very populated site in the first place. But I mean... where else ya gunna post TF fetish stories?


In brighter news, work on the Last Leg novella is going smooth- I'd say I am about half done now, though its looking like the actual sex scenes in the novella will be cut down to only 1 :X. I have like 80% of the next regular erotica done- Get Owned, but I am working on Last Leg today so I dunno if i can finish today... but hopefully very soon. The multi tf and merge story Be Careful is lined up to be the next one after this.
