So working on this year's Halloween YCH, and hit a snag in that I've got two old ideas I'm not 100% on (Scarecrow or Eldritch Tentacles).

So, wanted to know if you have any thoughts?

Just trying to keep you guys posted, break is going along fine. After a pretty nice birthday last week, been feeling the creative juices to draw coming back. Been debating on this year's Halloween YCH project, but nothing final yet (which is fine, as it's a month away from when I want to start). Wouldn't be opposed to work shopping some suggestions in the future.

Also opening up questions again, since I get people DMing me asking me things and often I don't have the time to write back. So looking at changing that up. Got something you'd want to ask me regarding my OCs or art or something, I'll try to answer best I can.

Going through burnout and heavily debating something... I think I'm gonna take a break from drawing for awhile. At least until October if I come up with a new Halloween YCH project.

I guess if you see something new I drew between then and now, I failed XP

So, been thinking and wanna apologize if I was ever rude/dismissive towards you in the past regarding commissions. I don't have any excuse for my behaviour, it wasn't right then and it's not now. Please know I am sorry and am trying to better myself.

After a month of physio, my arm is almost at 100%. There's some soreness in the mornings, but no longer feels like my arm is being torn off. Next week I have an appointment for steroid injections in my shoulder to help with the process, so guess we'll see how things go.


And planning on taking a break from drawing due to reaching burnout. It's a struggle trying to figure out what to draw, let alone motivating myself to physically draw anything lately. So gonna take some time to get rejuvenated again.

So got my ultrasound and it was as we kinda expected, shoulder tendinitis. So aside from the steps I'm already been making (icing, physiotherapy exercise, over the counter pain meds, etc), I've put in a appointment with my doctor to get steroid injections to help speed up the process. As such, work will remain slow as a result of the shoulder pains.


Also, been thinking and I wanna update/change Blizz's personality that she doesn't *willingly* tease her body anymore. I dunno, I kinda wanted to depict her as an innocent kinda thrust into the pervy world I created, despite having no interest in it herself. I mean... the thieves kinda know/use this to their advantage. As would the pirates and especially Nikita.

But Blizz (and Jester) I kinda wanna depict from now on kinda the "straight/real characters" in a cartoony world, if that makes sense?

Blizz: "Why is everyone I come across into feet? What is it about feet that drives you all crazy?"

My arm feels less like someone's ripping it off and more sore like a painful bruise. I've been getting physiotherapy (which hasn't been cheap -_- ) for my arm, and tomorrow getting an ultrasound x-ray.

So saw my doctor, she believes I pulled/strained one of the tendons in my shoulder. As such I was prescribed some new "stronger" pain meds, given an appointment for an ultrasound/x-ray (unfortunately a week away), and a slip for physiotherapy I need to book myself.

As such I've had to cancel a few comms DMs in the process since I'm struggling to get done the ones I still have.

Because of the FA outage, I currently am behind on commission work, so still making my way through those when I have time. And because of that, I am aware there's a few people still waiting in the DMs, but I ask for patience till I can both work through my queue to check in with those few notes.

Also for those not following me on Bluesky, I have for the past week been dealing with severe pain in my left arm/shoulder. I figured I pulled something, and was waiting for it to heal itself (While doping myself on pain meds and Voltaren lotion.), but it's been now over a week and I can't see my doctor until this upcoming Monday.

While I figure out my next artpiece (no, not comms), opening myself up to a round of character questions. Have a character or lore question, fire away, and I'll try to answer as best I can.

I owe a better explanation beyond my previous journal. For privacy reasons I won't give names, but I ended up getting into a shouting match and hurting someone close. I've tried to make amends but so far it's a process due to how bad I screwed up. Because it was entirely my fault, my depression flared up so bad I started wanting to hurt myself and contacted a suicide hotline last night.

As such, I'm taking a break for my own mental health. The Q&A, The YCH Bid, etc. all on hold until I am through this. Thank you for your patience.

Unrelated to the YCH (which is on hold for the time being), I try to do a pic of Jenn as a witch each year. My cast of characters has grown quite a bit since then, so honest question:
