I want to work out a painting style before doing a project for a family member. This will be lineless or very minimal lines for accentuations. $60 for two characters, preferably SFW but NSFW is fine if you're willing to pay a bit more.

I've been making them a lot since my jaw problems started up, they were the easiest way to "eat" when I couldn't open my mouth. WELL I looked online and saw stuff about "green" smoothies, where you add veggies, and I tried it out, and you really don't taste them, the problem I'm having is they almost always turn my smoothie brown, which is NOT an appetizing color.

SO I was wondering if any of you lovely furs out there have ever dabbled in green smoothies, and could make suggestions on how to.. not have a brown smoothie? Or just let me know your favorite flavor combos, because I've mostly been doing like.. mango, banana, orange.. type stuff. xD

I don't wanna be a Scrooge, and I don't want to offend anyone or anything but... why isn't it okay to say, "No, I did not have a Merry Christmas?" Like everyone has asked me how my Christmas was and.. I just feel like I cannot, absolutely can't say it wasn't good.

I didn't get anything (boohoo, no presents, it's not about that, blah blah), I didn't get to spend time with family, I didn't even have a tree or get to watch any cute Christmas specials because I don't have cable.. but telling anyone this stuff made conversation instantly awkward and I felt like I had to apologize for not having a good day.

I'm sorry, but I just didn't. :c I hope everyone else did, I really, really do. The highlight of my day was the ten minute phone call from my dad, telling me they cut his pay and he almost couldn't call for Christmas.

So I made some mistakes in calculating some stuff, long story short I need about $25-30 asap. SO I'm offering discounted commissions, pretty pleeeeeeeeeeeeease if anyone can help that'd be swell.

First off, to anyone who bought cookies, they're gonna be late. I am so super sorry, I was supposed to have them mailed already but then I got smacked in the face with this infection.. almost literally! They're still gonna be fresh, because part of the lateness, is they're not all finished yet. I finished about half of them last night, and I was planning to finish the rest this morning but I just woke up like twenty minutes ago. The post office closes in a couple hours, and there's no way I'm gonna be able to finish and pack all the cookies by then.. D: HOPEFULLY they'll go out TOMORROW, but goodness knows how bad the mail will be.

Secondly, the infection. It's all through my jaw on the right side, up to my ear, down into my neck. I'm taking eight antibiotics a day (8 pills, not 8 kinds), and pain pills because my face still hurts like hell. I can't brush my teeth which is driving me crazy because I can feel all the gross plaque built up on the inside of them, and I'm sure my breath is disgusting. I keep going from freezing to sweating, which is kind of frustrating but could be worse. The worst parts are eating (I've managed soft cheese, some very soft bread, pudding, etc.) and just.. doing anything in general. Standing, moving, whatever - they all take a LOT more energy than they should and it's getting old fast. I want to be able to DO things and it just isn't happening.

If I owe you art that is SPECIFICALLY Christmas oriented, please comment here and remind me. If it's just winter, please be patient with me. ): I'm going to try and get the Christmas stuff done by Christmas, because.. well it'll be kind of dumb if I don't. D:

I went in for emergency surgery at around 9am Friday morning. I apparently have a really bad infection in my mouth, so it's good they got in there before anything severe happened. (Because, ya know, not being able to open my mouth isn't severe). Anyway, I woke up from the anesthesia, cried like a baby, and then got a milkshake, pain meds, and went home to sleep.

I got up around.. 3pm-ish? Went in with Cole to get the car from the shop (I am in SO much debt now, btw). Came home, was up for just a little bit, and then went to bed again. I don't remember how long, but not long after I laid down and Cole went back downstairs, I started seeing things. Like.. shapes moving across the room, what looked like a flashlight that was on then randomly flicked off, and something hunching over my bed. I grabbed my phone, called Cole, and he came upstairs to turn on a lamp for me. Then he said he was gonna go eat, then come to bed.

Well, I just got up maybe an hour ago because he finally came to bed. I've been laying there waking up over and over thinking someone was leaning over me, too scared to grab my phone or anything, and in a lot of pain because my painkillers were downstairs. I'm so disoriented, I would've thought the anesthesia would've worn off by now but I don't know, and all I can do is cry.

I'm gonna try to work on stuff, but I have no idea how it's gonna go because apparently I'm hallucinating a lot. I could've sworn my cat was sitting in my seat when I walked up to the couch, but when I looked right down at it, he wasn't there.

I couldn't even open my mouth enough to get a pill in it, so of course the painkillers they gave me weren't helping at all. It's worse than it has been the whole time. SO, they gave me liquid codeine, more antibiotics, and finally actually talked to the oral surgeon they use at their hospital.

Friday morning I go in to see the surgeon to see if he'll do anything for me. Fingers crossed, because I cannot live like this until March (which is when the place in Chicago can get me in). The whole right side of my face is swollen, the outside feels bruised, the insane is pushing against my teeth, my jaw doesn't line up properly, and when I put any sort of pressure on the right side, it's excruciating. I still can't eat, I've been living off smoothies for awhile now.. I just want this fixed. I'm sick of taking pain meds, knowing it's just a temp fix.

SO for a little while now, my car has been having some not so good sounding noises coming from it. It sounds like a kind of clicking coming from the front passenger tire.. and as of today, apparently, now the steering wheel shakes violently while driving.

Talked to my step-dad, who happens to be a mechanic, and he said it could be any number of things from the axle, to the ball joint, to the control arm... most of which I'm looking at somewhere close to $200 to fix. So now my car can't be driven until I get this fixed, and I defs don't have two hundred bucks laying around to get it fixed... .-.;;

I think I might just find a hidey hole and stay there.

We just went to feed him and he was just.. dead. He was fine last night. I'm not sure what happened. I know that rats usually live 2-4 years or so, and he was about 3 so he had a decent lifespan.. he just didn't seem to have any sort of health issues. He was lively, active, no tumors or anything..

I guess I should be grateful that he lived for so long, being a feeder rat... but it's never fun to lose a pet. I feel bad because I haven't cried or anything, but I am sad/upset. I guess I just don't know how to react.

I have called LITERALLY every dentist that takes medicaid in my area, asked them if they know of an oral surgeon that takes it. I got one number that only takes it for 18 and under. I Googled, got one that only takes it for children. I called the number for my insurance card help hotline thing! They literally have NONE in ONE HUNDRED MILES OF ME.

They told me to Google it. GOOGLE IT. I've GOOGLED a MILLION TIMES. THERE IS NOTHING.

But I got the codes from an oral surgeon, called the insurance, and they said they're all covered. SO MEDICAID COVERS WHAT I NEED, and I can't find a fucking surgeon that will take it.

I am in so much pain. SO MUCH PAIN. It hurts to bend over, it hurts to sneeze, it hurts to chew, I wake up from excrutiating pain in my jaw or my tooth or my entire face. I have a wisdom tooth that came in completely sideways, is pushing against the rest of my teeth, and had a cavity when it came in. The cavity has gotten so much worse that the entire inside of the tooth is gone, and the nerve is exposed. It randomly bleeds, it randomly hurts, and stuff gets stuck in the tooth constantly. The only way to get the food out is with a toothpick, and I have a tendency to accidentally touch the nerve, which makes me double over and cry.

I have no idea what to do.
