I'm not even sure where to begin with today.

BUT I turned 22 today, so there's that. I chopped off my hair. And I bought a bunch of sweaters to upcycle into a coat.

I will probably just eat cake and sit on the computer the rest of the night. Whoopee.

I.. can't draw. I haven't done anything worthwhile in like a week and it's driving me insane. I can't manage to really get into my art at the moment, so I'm thinking of taking a couple slots for blinking icons like mine to try to get out of my rut. They will be done probably before my commission queue because I'm hoping they'll get me back into things.

Go look at this.  abysscrystal is having an art slave auction, but she SEWS things. She also embroiders, so she can do cute patches or custom embroidery on pieces of clothing too! This is a GREAT opportunity to get a lot of stuff for one (small) lump sum!

She'll be sewing you as much as she can in a MONTH. A whole month. Go bid!

I'll be going to visit my family/friends on the 18th, and I'll be there for a whole month. There's actually internet worthwhile there, so I wondered if anyone would be interested since I see streams everywhere and they seem pretty popular. c:

I keep seeing badges everywhere, and I've never done one. SO if someone is wanting a badge, I'd totally love to try my hand at one. It'll just be digital, so you'll have to print/laminate it yourself.

That's exciting. c: i can totally see the massive amount of improvement I've made over the past month or two, and I have to say.. I'm REALLY proud of myself. For the first time ever I've had to close my commissions because I just don't have enough time to do more right now.

I'll open them back up when I'm finished with everything, I'm just so... ugh I don't even know, so freaking happy. I'm glad people like my work, and I'm glad I'm getting better and I looove that I can actually look at something from even a couple months ago and say, "Wow, there is a LOT of difference there."

So, I was just looking at a lovely submission by my favorite artist,  pollo-chan, and I just keep staring and wondering what it is that makes her stuff so wonderful..

Then I decided that my goal as an artist will be to achieve that level of quality. So I started looking at my older stuff, and I think there's a pretty noticeable amount of improvement.

Yay! That means I can draw again. And holy cow, the difference between a Bamboo and an Intuos is just astounding and I haven't even drawn anything so far. ;o;

There appears to be a short in my tablet's cord, so I'm gonna have to get a new one and I TOTALLY cannot afford that.
