i also had an idea for a cute species and i got it sketched up, but i won't show it until i think of a good name for it :3


they have long lasher-like appendages on their lower back above the base of their tails. some of them don't have tails. they use
the ends/tips of the lashers to help them dig! they normally have small little claws and paw pads/beans, but when they use their lashers to dig, their claws encapsulate
the ends of their fingers, turning into pointy claws like moles. they're very good at digging and are naturally adept at being miners. they have
clear see through cavities in their tummy/chest, which they can fill with magical liquids or gems they find when burrowing. these types of fluffy little dragons may also fill them with things such as fish or have them be terrariums!!!! plushie ones have a plastic see through cavity filled with stuffing or polyfill :3c

THIS IS A NIPPIT

THEY SOUND LIKE TALKATIVE PORCUPINES

nippits are very squeaky and mousey sounding, however they also can roar rather loudly, and even bark like a dog

they love to "nip" things (more like bite things), hence the name

they can breathe small flames in many different colors, however the flames arent that dangerous. nippits aren't too much of a threat to anyone.

their large throat can serve purposes similar to a pelican's beak pouch

they like to burrow underground and will leave their long maw sticking out of the dirt hole so they may breathe

they're not very bright and are ditzy

- not a lot of iguinis have wings

- please dont edit the design too much or stray too far from its intended appearance.

- give them any kind of personality you want. gender is fine too.

- iguinis (in this universe i have created) are canonically a fantasy creature, ones that are seen rarely if not at all. they're talked about usually by drunken men and travelers, stories told at taverns and the like. iguinis live in a large oasis-like areas scattered sparsely around the continent, which would be surrounded by dangerous obstacles such as beasts, mountains, and wilderness.

- when iguinis are found they tend to be poached or taken into slavery for sex purposes, thus why iguinis are in hiding. their goo tails not only taste delicious to lick and such, but the goo is also a fantastic moisturizer and cure-all for sicknesses like fevers.

also, i'm gonna do animal crossing style drawings soon, which i think will be 30 dollars for full lineart and shading, so watch out for that :3

they look like this body wise! although they can have variations to them, such as shorter tails, no tails, they can be not as fluffy, they can have stand-up ears, and things i'd like to call "pixie feathers"

they function as little tiny wings that beat rapidly like an insects, however they can also not have pixie feathers. they can also instead have thin, long, wiry hair that protrude from the back in the same place, which have a small feather at the end of each strand

they will be a closed species and the first adoptable will have some set rules
