i haven't drawn in ages and i don't see it changing :') it seems like. insurmountable. to improve - the amt of studying and sketching and practice i'd have to do makes me miserable to think about lol

and then i hop on fa and see all this amazing art and it just discourages me more because even if i did practice i wouldn't have an interesting style :')

it's just hard... i don't have the time or energy to get my art to the point i want it to be, so mise well just stop.

also i still can't find a job and my best friend of several years stopped talking to me completely without notice :') like i've been happy but l m a o everything really does fucking suck

art is becoming such a chore. i hate my style. i haven't improved in ~years and finding motivation is hell. i have so few followers everywhere and i just don't even want to post art if i know it's just gonna get ignored no matter what.

i have no idea what to do, i was pretty close to giving the fck up and not drawing anymore... it just sucks that i'm so awful at something that 1. i've worked on for years and 2. is my only hobby

i'm so miserable; i just started a new job after leaving my old one bc of a hostile work environment, and guess what happened at my new job. i literally cannot go in tomorrow, i'm so nervous and anxious because of what happened today and how horrible the managers are. i've had six jobs this year alone, between march and now. i cannot find a job that treats me with respect and i can't fucking stay at places where they aren't willing to treat employees like humans. i just want to find a good job that values my work.

wassup furaffinity! lol so i got a new job, i work at an ice cream shop now. it's pretty chill!

more importantly my girlfriend bandit is going to be moving in with us in september. every time we see each other we decide to move in earlier lol. so after the last time i visited her we decided to ask if she could move into my apartment now, and it's all chill! i'm so excited, i love her so so much and all i want is to spend every day with her.

finally we're getting our first bad dragon, it's gonna be a small nova and i'm v excited. i've become mildly obsessed with them lol, they're just really neat and i can't wait to grow our collection. :3

i feel like if you can't handle a large workload, commissions shouldn't be your only/main source of income. especially if you're gonna turn around and ask for commissions to make up refunds, and just add to your workload. it seems totally unreasonable to keep yourself in that situation... and not that it's EASY to get a job but it's probably easier than drowning in work and being unsure if you can pay your bills
