Online Presence
General | Posted 8 years agoJust a quick update of things to come. I've set a New Years resolution for myself to try and get more involved in writing and upload something at least once a month. I dislike my current trend of writing in bursts, then going on a long hiatus, only to get confused with my own characters when I try and pick something up again. I feel doing this will also gather more interest in my own work and perhaps that too will come as more motivation to write. I'd really like to take my writing to a real publisher one day, but at my current mindset I do not think I'm ready for that in addition to being so out of practice.
Here's to keeping up with the resolution! I do (Finally) have Chapter 3 of Hunter started and nearly finished before I work on edits and that will be uploaded by the end of the month or early February.
For now, I did write one thing a long while back and will be uploading it in my "World of Wonder" series. Hope you all like it.

A FurAffinity Account
General | Posted 9 years agoI was that guy. The one in high school that would stare with judgement at the other kids who wore the kitty-bands over their heads, wear tails and prance around enjoying themselves in their L.A.R.P. I was the one who would tell my other friends, "Wow, that's just ridiculous. Why would they do that?" and laugh along with them as we made crude jokes to the other "furries" around us.
The truth was that I've always been interested in the community. I adored star fox, I wrote stories for star fox, I even wanted a Fox McCloud boyfriend at one point. And despite all those "signs" I have to admit now that I'm a furry of some sort. I love the art, I love the writing, and what little of the community I do know about intrigues me. So I've relented and finally created a FurAffinity page for myself.
I may have complicated the process more than it needed to be - I had spent hours wondering if I needed, wanted, or should make a fursona. Of course, being the person I am, I opted to use the most reliable source I could find and trust...
Facebook quizes...
So I answered the questions as truthfully as I could and ended up with a tiger. Now, I have to admit, my first impression about being a tiger wasn't one of excitement or relief. I didn't like it. Not at all. I was hoping for something like wolf or husky. However, the longer I stared at the avatar the quiz showed me, stared at that orange and black fur, the more I realized that this was a perfect fit for me. One, my Chinese Zodiac is a tiger. That was pretty easy. Two, my favorite color is orange, favorite combination is orange and black. That seems a bit far-fetched compared to my zodiac but I'll take it. And three, some of the traits the quiz said about tigers fit well with my own personality. Thus, a tiger fursona was born!
As for the name? It was really just a random mix of words. I like the name Jack Russo. Basically all there is to it. It's not too ordinary nor is it too bizarre for my own tastes. And with that, I humbly introduce myself to everyone:
Hello! The name's Jack. Jack Russo. Tiger! *winky face*
