Costa Rica is better than america. I would rather be a farmer in a coffee field with 2 cows in San Bernardo than a lower middle class american.

Either way, I've changed a lot, and I'll be thankful for what I have, finally. It's good to be back (I think) and I'll be writing again. Wags.

On July 24 I'm going out of country to Costa Rica. Will be there for 3 full weeks. This trip is coming just in time. My dad has become a raging alcoholic again and I live with him. I won't say the emotional and physical pain I'm in because of his addiction.

I also found out that I was not to bring my cell phone or any electronics to Costa Rica. At first I was very upset, but then I took a look around at my online friends, and realized how few of them are true friends. And most of my real friends I don't talk to anyway.

In Costa Rica I'm going to be doing a lot of reading and writing. It doesn't matter that I have no motivation to write. I will find a reason to love writing. Maybe it will make me feel like I'm alive again. I haven't written much since January.

Anyway, if you try to text me and I don't reply, I'm "in a better place," as they say. Maybe when I come back the world will be back in order, and if not, hopefully I'll have the strength and wisdom to put it that way.

I've been working hard on a short novel! It's coming together nicely. it won't be done for months, unfortunately. I'll try to put out some short stories in the meantime. If anyone has any ideas for a short story, I'd love to hear them and maybe make some dreams come true =)

I had to go to the ER. I dont remember like anything about last night. I just know things are going downhill faster than before. Fml.

The people (it sounds like 3 or 4 different people) in the apartment next to me have been having sex for hours.

Do the right thing. Don't take the easy way out of anything. Do the right thing for you and everyone else. The only "easy way out" life has ever offered me is suicide and taking a rebound mate. But it just isn't the right choice. I've made attempts at the former and I'm guilty of the latter. The latter is its own story. When you're hurt from a breakup and take another mate to ease your pain, you're taking advantage of someone. When you get better as a result of taking a rebound mate, and then you leave him or her, you've taken advantage of a human being who probably loved you more than life itself. I say that because the people who offer themselves to you to ease your pain are sometimes your best friends. I'm guilty of hurting people like that. Chances are that you are too. I want to apologize to James the coyote wherever he is. I didn't want to hurt you. I took the easy way out. I want these people to apologize to me for making me a rebound fox: James the coyote (again), Tyler the snow leopard, David who was a red fox but is a gray wolf now, and Jack and Ryan who are humans. They won't apologize to me though because they're all out of my life. When you use and then break someone like that you lose a mateship and a friendship in one blow. Go apologize to your rebound mates. They deserve to know you recognize you've hurt them.

I have the ability to view adult art once more. Due to the horrible setup of the mobile version of Fur Affinity, the "SFW" button only pops up when it feels like it. I had to click it to get myself off of SFW mode. So adult arts will happen now. But my email is still listed as my Username "Jackson Fox" lol. Not an email.

Until the FA administrators help my stupid foxy self fix my account, there will be:
No adult crayon arts
No adult stories
No ability of mine to view, favorite, or receive submission notifications involving adult art, writing, et cetera.

I've been pretty depressed lately, and I suppose I have no reason to be. A bazillion thanks to my mate, who has never failed me. Here's to a marvelous 7 months of what will surely last a lifetime.

I'm going to upload a teaser for BERLIN since I may be late. Fuck November. The point of nanowrimo is getting in the habit of writing. Wooooo it worked.

WEEEELLLLLLLLL, it isn't going to be a novel. More like a novella, or novelette, if you will. I'm going to say it's going to be about 18,000 words, which isn't at all a novel, but far beyond a short story. It is going to be titled "Berlin," after the late Lou Reed's 1973 album. Don't expect something really happy.
