The Last Day of 2017 and look towards 2018

I hope that you had wonderful and peaceful Christmas with your family and loved ones ^^ I personally had peaceful Christmas at home and it was good chance to relax bit more.
I appreciate a lot for close people who I talked with on Telegram and specially for my dear wolf
hornetv2 who always knows how to make me smile and lift up my mood ^^
No wonder we have been 8 years and one week together as a couple as Christmas Eve was our 8th anniversary
Well I´m gonna list up some great and bad stuff I had during 2017 as well as what I hope and plan for 2018:
Great stuff:
- This year was my very first time that I was able to travel into Sweden, as Nordicfuzzcon 2017 was my first Swedish fur con and Furry Cruise 2017 was my first chance to walk little bit around Stockholm
- BLFC 2017 was great and it was also great to see my wolf and his sweet doggo Charlie in their new home (as my last visit in USA was 2015)
- Got a good and positive feedback from trainee period(or in other words: internship) place
- My art style got some improvements throughout the year
- Had some great times with local furs, also got to meet some new furs and catch up with things with old fur friends
- This year was also 100th year of Finland´s Independence
- I lost over 36 kilograms since January making me weight 101,9 kilograms (originally I was 136,6 kilograms in January)
Side note: Christmas time did make me gain a bit as today I´m 110,1 kilograms.. but this is just great to keep up with good progress with weight loss during 2018 ^^
- I started to get bit more active with walking around Tampere (that´s my neighbor city) and even this week I have done 1,5 hour walks couple of times
- 8th year with my lovely hornetv2
Bad stuff:
- Even with positive feedbacks, I wasn´t able to get more than just internship job again
- I let the current life situation with not getting work effect on my mindset negatively throughout the year
- Another anniversary was this year as this year was 20 years from my dad´s passing away
For upcoming 2018, I wish/ I try to improve:
- To finally get something good for work life or at least some good direction (whether is it stable job with current occupations I already have or as study for new occupation which would have a better chances to get hired)
- Enjoy for the life even more as life is too short to worry about things
- Hopefully improve with social skills even more
- To get lots of improvements with my art style
- Lose weight from 110,1 kilograms to 91 kilograms (and even more is a huge plus) so I could focus on gaining muscle and hopefully to get back in gym workouts
So there you have it, little summary of my 2017 and also little hopes for upcoming 2018
I wish you all my friends and everyone a wonderful start of 2018!

This Wednesday (6th of December) is a big 100th anniversary of Finland´s independence and later this month, Christmas Eve is anniversary of my wolf hornetv2 and me.
Otherwise, I´ll be making a journal to take a look back to this 100th independence year of Finland for the good and the bad, also say what I´m looking forward for upcoming 2018.
Expect that before New Year´s Eve.
I hope you guys had great MFF last weekend and congratulations for becoming biggest furcon of 2017!
This time I´ll make a quick and short journal as I´ll do my best to be more active with journals again and hopefully also with arts.

November 2017 journal
Posted 8 years agoAnother month is here and we´re closer for the end of 2017, the 100th anniversary of Finland´s independence year!!
Phew time sure does fly so fast, it was little while ago we were in January *chuckles*
So lately this lion´s life has been mostly recovering from previous trainee period (unfortunately, lion´s luck got short and unless I get small periods of work from there, I´ve returned as fully unemployed once again x3) and getting ready to renew my truck driving license (which I got from warehouse operative school about 5 years ago and it was getting expired).
I managed to pass that with few wrong answers on written exam and I still have a little bit struggling with driving with few of the forklifts, but I got hang on with electric pedestrian truck. ^^
Otherwise, there has been some good times with people lately as I still try my best to get better with communicating and getting rid off the being awkward and such x3
There was very first ever Halloween themed event in adventure park in Tampere, called Creepy Carnival. During that time part of the park is divided into themed sections, such as Zombie Zone which is themed as aftermath of atomic bomb incident and that resulted for zombie apocalypse. At that area, where was few zombies roaming around and scaring people during whole day, but in few times a day there was a little game where you needed to find 3 briefcases which contained items for help the military to launch a impulse for calm down zombies. And during the game, zombies were more aggressive with attack on people, spreading the virus.
Other areas were themed with skeletons for little kids, Día de Muertos with chance to get a facepainting or making a own mask with the theme for mentioning the few.
I wasn´t going on rides as much as I originally planned, as after first ride since many years of not being on rides, it left me a little bit overwhelmed feeling and I ended up to walk around the park rest of the day x3
Maybe next summer when it´s more warmer, I might try to get more on rides and also maybe gonna test out this ride which was this year´s newbie (if this lion would get more courage to get on this ride, that is XD ):
I also hang out with local furs couple of times, I also got to meet one fur who was visiting at Tampere with his non-fur friend and we got to spend time at bar one evening and also I was able to go to Oulu (which is currently the northest city of Finland I´ve ever visited, before that Kajaani was the northest city) to visit at
raidensonata´s place ^^
So much stuff happened last month and also something comes up during this month.
I realized that at 16th of this month, that day is sad day when my dad passed away exactly 20 years ago.
Back in the first year of furry fandom, I drew something for that day and I started to think about drawing something this year too.
We´ll see.
Other news I´m open for regular commissions (been open quite a long time, but it has been quite silent still).
Currently this lion is willing to draw for you for food as last two months has been a bit hectic with financial aspect (I got most of the bills paid just fine, still. Gotta keep the roof on top the head at least, ya know)...
So yeah, that means that I´m trying my best to get more YCHs and begin looking for commission works, for hopes to save up for bad day and currently to keep the lion´s fridge filled with food.

Posted 8 years agoAs the September is slowly passing us and October is getting closer, it´s time for new monthly journal.
Well September was overall draining emotionally, even though I was trying my best to relax during Tracon and the Turriristely (aka Nordic FurFloat).
But I´m slowly trying my best to just relax and get bit more social again, even with little back step during last month.
Next month (or at least up coming weeks) will be interesting as I got only 8 workdays left in trainee period (or internship) place and so far I have only heard that there´s little hope to get a continuing period for working in same place.
This isn´t 100% sure yet, but there´s still little hope as I have done so much work for them as a "free worker" and co-workers and boss has been really pleased for my work.. plus as Christmas time is coming and they really need extra help with all the stuff for the Christmas time.
Arts are coming along good as I´m currently making my part of the NSFW collab YCH (sketching and linearts) before sending it to hornetv2 for finishing touches and after that I´ll work on request badge for my local fur friend :3
Also during this month I´ll be opening for YCH slots for revisited idea of "Spend time with one of my characters" series.
I´ll post more details as I´ll get to that point x3
Also I decided to make a Ko-Fi account at some point this month as this lion loves coffee a lot and it would be at least a little way to get some small income.
I´ll post the details of that as soon as I´ll get the account done.
For finishing part of this journal, I got request to make a little promotion by my big bro karmakat, who has posted first porn chapter on Patreon.

NFC 2018 and asking my social media contact for RP
Posted 8 years agoLast weekend was the big NordicFuzzCon 2018 registration and this lion managed to start to pay his hotel room so I´m pretty sure that you´ll be seeing this lion in Stockholm for NordicFuzzCon 2018 ^^
Also, I really have to say this: Please, I really ask with all respect to NOT ask if I have Telegram/Discord/Skype ect. just for RP purposes.
I do love to talk and meet with other furs online, also I do RP at times... but if the only thing to do with me is to RP on telegram for example, then I really dunno if I give you my contact to you.
Specially I might be also multitask while being online (mostly I´m on my laptop and try to focus on multiple chats while drawing at the same time)...
I really hope you could respect this kind request before asking me if I have any social media account to chat with.

September 2017 Journal
Posted 8 years agoAs the new month started last week, for me it´s a start of busy month for upcoming weekends.
Last Saturday there was birthday party of local fur, which ended with spending at bar for few hours and it was superhyperextra awesome times as I don´t usually go to bars because I´m most of the times either all by myself or I don´t have enough money to go for bar during the weekends.
This and next weekend will be also busy times, because during 9th-10th of September is time for annual anime-and roleplaying convention Tracon where I have been going for last 5 years and this year´s con will be my 6th time there.
Usually I have been roaming around all over the places at the con area with my fursuit, but this weekend I´ll be roaming around the park near the convention and music hall without suit.
Reason for that is that I left my fursuit head, bodysuit and partial sleeves at hornetv2´s place earlier this year for repairing and updating the look.
So this might be great reason for me to hangout with furs at con and possibly take lot of pictures of fursuiters and cosplayers, as I know that there´s so many talented people who has took their time and effort to make a cosplay of their favorite anime/video game/movie/tv-series etc. character for the biggest and most popular con in Finland ^^
I hope to see you there and definitely I´ll be happy to hangout with you if you want ^^
Also this Saturday there will be an registration opening for the NordicFuzzCon 2018, where you´ll see me there. Gonna hope that upcoming NFC will a bit better than this year´s con was and hopefully I´ll be wearing my updated suit there ^^
So, what will happen during 15th-17th of September aka weekend after Tracon?
Well during that time is the annual Furry Cruise where I´ll be going for the first time ever, which I´m definitely looking forward for it as it has been long time since I was on a ferry with my old elementary school classmates.
Gonna take all the effort to make the first furry cruise as pleasant and wonderful experience as I´m planning to go there again annually after this year´s cruise ^^
Otherwise, this lion has been doing alright. There has been ups and downs, but I´m learn to get over those and do my best to be more social and not worrying about stuff as much as I have been doing since the beginning of this year.
I´m going to work on with arts and specially hoping to have my commissions open (which has been like "ages" but that part has been going on so silent even with lot of promotion) plus new YCH auctions, there will be also some projects with my lovely wolf hornetv2 coming up but we´ll let you know as soon as those will get ready ^^
But I´m definitely sure that there will be a lot of great art coming up ^^
So stay tuned for journals for more updates as I´m really trying to get bit more frequent with those than what it was last few months x3

Cancelling the YCH Auction series
Posted 8 years agoAs it turned out, the YCH auction for "Spending time with one of my three characters" didn´t gave any bids. I guess the timing wasn´t the best from my side as many of people are still recovering from Eurofurence last week.
So only option was that I shall cancel it for now, but I´ll try this again later as I´ll get more pics done of my other characters Jager and Harvey who haven´t got so much attention with drawings for while now ^//^
I´ll try my best to keep working on with the ideas for the "Spending time with one of my three characters" auction still.
So yeah, I´ll work on with more personal pics of my characters and hopefully commissions and YCHs to all of you.

It´s the end of the July (on my side only few hours left before the month changes), so I´ll make a journal about this almost passing month and what there will be for upcoming month.
Honestly Jake´s July was so hectic and tiring month with lots of mood swings and stress almost taking control of this lion´s mind, as the loneliness started to struck on me a lot.
But I have to say that I´m slowly but surely getting passed that with all my close friends and specially my wonderful boyfriend was taking care of me and helped me out as much as they could.
Huge thanks to all of you, for making me feel better and showed me that I still got some great people in my life.
Monthly organized cafe meets with local furs has been helping me a lot as I already got to meet three kind and great furs there during the meets. Also it has been great to see some furs I have seen in local con meets too.
Also I got some great news, this lion has got a lot of weight loss during this month: from 118,5 kilograms at 1/7 into 107,6 kilograms today 31/7. That makes almost 11 kilograms within one month!!!
Now I´m so close with being less than 100 kilograms which will be my goal for August.
The weight loss has been great one, thanks to busy trainee period during morning, walking/ Pokemon Go walks in Tampere and eating less food.
But I´m definitely gonna keep this up, as I want to get my weight down before I return to the gym and build up some muscle.
After hectic and tiring July, I´m already looking forward for the August as it will be month of working up with getting bit more social and hopefully get some friends too.
I´ll do my best also get better with keeping the positive attitude, which I´m slowly adapting into my mindset after being so negative and reserved about stuff for a while now.
Also look forward more art from up coming month as this week´s Friday 4th of August will be my 8th Furryversary aka at that day, I found furry fandom and started drawing Jake and other furry themed arts :3
Weight loss project will be still going as I try my best to get myself less than 100 kilograms within this month.
Lion is now getting ready for new month with straight back and hopeful mindset!

It´s the end of the July (on my side only few hours left before the month changes), so I´ll make a journal about this almost passing month and what there will be for upcoming month.
July 2017Honestly Jake´s July was so hectic and tiring month with lots of mood swings and stress almost taking control of this lion´s mind, as the loneliness started to struck on me a lot.
But I have to say that I´m slowly but surely getting passed that with all my close friends and specially my wonderful boyfriend was taking care of me and helped me out as much as they could.

USA/BLFC trip journal + June stuff

Time for making a post USA/BLFC journal, sorry for taking so long to get it done ^^
So the flights to Portland (and also way back to Finland) went overall well, even with small delays and confusing gate changes on Amsterdam-Portland flight.
As I saw the legendary Portland airport carpet, I knew that I have arrived and it´s time for great times in Portland.
hornetv2 picked me up from airport and took me to his home after roaming around the city a bit. His wonderful "pup" Charlie showed me that he remembers me still even when I saw him previously 2 years ago ^^ I have missed both Charlie and Hornet so much.
Later the last weekend of May, we had a outdoor party with few of Hornet´s friends and I had lots of fun during the party. Also we did went for Portland Rose Festival and Oregon Zoo. The weather was really warm and sunny, so it was really perfect for outdoor activities ^^
On Memorial Day, Hornet and I went to Eugene to visit our friends and had chance for bowling. On my side, it went pretty good, even when my right arm started to get tired (the same arm which I hurt during NFC, it´s recovered though at times it´s aching just little bit if I lean on it long periods).
On Wednesday, Hornet took me to the local Gamestop to pick up Nintendo Switch bundle he bought for me.
I´m so happy for that and it´s been in a really well use lately on me. Anyone who wants to add me, check out the journal for Friend code.
Then it´s time to go to the BLFC, Hornet and
mizuiro drove us to Reno and we was ready for con shenanigans. ^^
Hornet started to tag people with Soraya tags, which has a random pic of one of Soraya stickers on Telegram. Those was very successfully popular amount people and specially Twitter exploded with one special incident, as we were going in a room party and found a room 666, Hornet decided that he should give a tag "Summons Satan in Spanish" x3
Then we discovered that there was a picture of it on Twitter and it got so many favorites and retweets that even got us surprised *chuckles*
Otherwise, I had lots of fun during the con. Really needed for this trip after being so stressed and hugely worried about irl stuff (aka unemployment and getting life back in control with weight loss and such).
There´s so many wonderful people I was managed to meet during the con, our old friends and also new ones.
Thank you so much to everyone who I was able to meet and hug, I´m hugely embarrassed that I might sounded awkward or not so talkative at times.
But I´m really doing my best to get myself back into more social *looks embarrassed*
Now after 5 days after returning Finland, I´m still missing Portland and BLFC so much. So I´m definitely hopeful that I´m able to come back next year, unless I´m getting work and I can´t get time off for the trip.

Safely returned back to Finland

Yesterday I managed to travel back to Finland from US, after long travel ^^
The whole trip went overall great and I miss Portland and my lovely wolf so much already

I just thought about make an update for upcoming month as April is approaching it´s end.
But first...
Huge HUGE thank you all for many faves/watches and comments you guys have given me ^^
I really hope that I keep up with improving myself to make even better art for your enjoyment and also looking forward to make more commissions again ^^
But now the updates!
May is the month that my trainee period will end in exactly 3 weeks, but I have got so much great feedback from my work effort and they are willing to continue the trainee period longer ^^
And I loved being there (also it has been so wonderful to be back in work life again), like I haven´t got any bad mornings thinking "Oh god, I wish that I don´t have to go to the work again"... Totally opposite, I always looked forward to go work again and do stuff like filling shelfs in store, helping out the warehouse operative and help customers to find product they´re looking for.
Though I won´t be able to continue trainee period right away after the current one ends, because.. I´ll be travelling into US again!

Unfortunately YCH #2 wasn´t lucky to get any bids, which means I´ll work on something of that sketch sooner or later.
I guess the timing for the YCH auctions was a little bit bad, considering that this weekend is also Furry Weekend Atlanta weekend. Plus these kind of pictures are really rare from me as I mostly try my best to stick with general or tastefully matured drawings .
But anyways, it was good to give a try for this kind of idea. Maybe I´ll do something like this later too.
As for the end of this journal, I´m reminding that I´m open for regular commissions still.
