After weeks of mulling this over I have decided to announce that I will NOT be opening for fursuit part commissions at Confuzzled. Or any time soon. I'm really sorry to disappoint anyone who was looking for a commission from me in the near future.
I want to take a little while to chill out and make fursuit making fun again. Taking commissions has really encouraged me to push myself, I know I've made more items and better quality items than I would if I had stuck to premades and I really REALLY like to make people happy, positive feedback from some of my customers has given me a real boost.
However: when I have commissions to do, I put myself under a lot of pressure to get things completed in a timely manner and keep my customers happy. Customer communication has been kind of a big deal, I want to provide a professional service (and I hope I have done so!) and although I'm a nice person I am introverted and in some cases the customer service / admin side of things has been more draining than actually making the items. Not that I've had any "difficult" customers, everyone has been lovely. I've just been putting more thought in what I say to people than "I made u paws lol!"
I've had a few people ask about getting heads from me and I've had to outright turn them down because I don't feel I have the confidence or expertise to make them on commission yet. So I'm going to use this time to make a couple of premade heads to improve my skills and confidence.
The good news is I will still do my Freebie Raffles! This will give me my "making people happy" buzz without the pressure of "being pro" Next raffle will be for hands and will run after my account accumulates 300 watchers. So keep your eyes peeled folks

The "personal pick" winner was actually really hard to choose. I'm kind of glad I didn't have any more entries because it would have been even harder to make up my mind!
In the end I chose
xenatharax because:
1- I have never made a dragon tail, so it will be interesting / challenging.
2- I have purple fur in stock, so I can start on it right away.
I wish I could make free tails for everyone who entered but I simply do not have the time or resources. As a little thank you though, everyone who entered will be entitled to a 20% discount if they commission a tail from me in the next 6 months.
I plan on running another freebie raffle once all the below criteria have been met:

Free Tail Raffle

I want to practice making fursuit tails and I'm feeling generous so I'm gonna run a little raffle.
There will be 2 winners.
The first will be determined by chance, all entries will be given a ticket number and I'll use a random number generator to pick the winner.
The second will be chosen by me, I'll choose a design that I'd like to make.
To enter:
1 You must be watching my account.
2 Leave a comment on this journal stating you want to enter. Please either include a link to a reference, or a brief description of what kind of tail you would like.
3 If you want a extra chance at winning, please promote this event on some way (link in a journal or tweet etc) and let me know you have done so. I will then assign you an extra ticket number instead of just the one.
Terms:
This is a free give away, if you win, you don't need to pay anything, not even shipping and I will post worldwide.
I don't do electronics, so if your tail has a glowing design, please note that I will not add lights to my creation.
I will stop taking entries at midnight Saturday 17th January (GMT), or when I have given out 50 numbers, whichever happens soonest.
There will be no deadline for these tails to be made and paid commissions will take priority.
Don't get butt-hurt if you don't win or are too late to enter. There is always next time.

- Actually having a visual reference rather than a written description helps.
- A design thats interesting, but not so complicated that I'll struggle to make it.
- Using fur colours I have in stock is a bonus. (I have white, cream, beige, grey, brown, black, baby blue, baby pink, coral, and purple in decent amounts. I have small quantities of ruby red, teal, tan and navy)
- I won't be choosing a massive tail for my personal pick, the cost of making and shipping it is off putting.

I also make woven kanekalon horse tails. Pony size is £75 and Horse size is £100. Horse tails take me 2-3 weeks to make. You can choose belt loop or metal clip for attachment.
