Tired, but not sleepy.
Posted 13 years agoWell I feel another bought of sleeplessness coming on. Only had 3 hours of sleep last night, and kind of forgot to take a nap. Oh well.
I've been trying to figure out just what a Sleep Shark could be so I'll probably be working on concept stuff for that. I need to type up all the scribbled notes from my sketchbook on the matter.
I was going to stream it, but I'm not sure why I would. lol It's certainly fun chatting with people in streams, but I doubt I'd be great for conversation at the moment.

Posted 13 years agoI should really taking this agonizing time to draw something. Maybe that'll make me tired.
Man, when I was sick a few weeks ago, I stayed up for... 50+ hours because of the effects of a steroid shot and some antibiotics. My tonsils were all like... okay opening photoshop or something.
Though I guess some parts of college included some rare occasions of 50+ hours of consciousness.

Dragoats? Extinct?
Posted 16 years agoOkay I was browsing FA and stumbled on 
tonkaTOUGH's art. And noticed that he is a "dragoat". A nifty/cute looking creature combination, if I might add.
I went looking through his gallery and noticed a few other dragoat friends of his, and I clicked on their stuff, and I noticed that almost every single one of them have posted their last picture in 4 months! (aside from lordosis, MarjorieDragoat, and JayEr (3 months) and flush (2 months), and DukeTheSpook, tonkaTOUGH(1 month)).
I think they all died out from some virus or something...exactly 4 months ago. tonkaTOUGH, flush, MarjorieDragoat, JayEr and lordis were the only ones who survived. They had to repopulate if they were to avoid extinction. One month later, everyone but tonkaTOUGH and DukeTheSpook got into an accident involving their pick-up truck. They all died immediately on impack, accept Flush. He went on to live a month in terribly agonizing pain, when he finally died from his injuries a month later. The two left died a month later from fishing with dynamite.... Tonka lit it but forgot to throw it. MYSTERY SOLVED!

Posted 16 years agoAlmost a week of school has come and gone and I can tell I'm going to have time for NOTHING, except school and more school.
Classes I'm taking:
Credit hours...Name
4...................Calc 3
4...................Geology 103+104 (104= the lab)
3...................Computer Science 221 (analysis of algorithms)
3...................Computer Science 350 (Operating system concepts)
3...................Statistics 215
3...................Figure Drawing

20 total
20 credit hours is also the highest number of hours I can take before being classified as "over burdened." Also, books are running me $520 at the moment and I still need my CS 221 book, and all my figure drawing supplies. *sigh* College is such a wallet drainer, but you all knew that.
I might have to ditch figure drawing if it proves to be too much work. :S Though if I dropped geology I could take that next semester with one of my friends, and keep taking figure drawing with my best friend.... hmm

1) I went to christian school from kindergarten to 7th grade (with the same 25 students), because the local day care only took students from that school because my mom didn't trust me at the house alone, which might have to do with me setting a pillow on fire once, ONCE! I'm currently agnostic though.
2) I started drawing to pass the time in school and that god awful daycare. Though I feel that I never really started to improve until 8th grade.
3) My favorite color always has been and always will be, orange.
4) I'd consider myself very shy around people I feel I don't know (I try hard not to show it haha), but I didn't always used to be like that. When I was younger I'd go up to anyone and everyone and strike up conversations.
5) I've almost died plenty of times before the age of 5.
6) I am an only child, and was raised by my crazy mom, but I get to see my dad and step mom every now and then. (they're awesome! haha)
7) My very first video game was pokemon red, and I loved it to pieces. I played up to pokemon diamond and pearl (and played every color before that sadly). I still have my pokemon cards as a momento.
8) My self esteem fluctuates, but averages on the low end. :D

Posted 16 years agoWell I was feeling really tired and ready for bed at 10, but CHILIN was having a live drawing session at 11:30. So, I decided to drink some coffee to watch this awesome artist in action. (Side note: I haven't drank coffee in forever) It's now 2:30 and the cup and a half of coffee is STARTING to wear off... in a very bad way. My stomach is unsettling, I feel a head ache coming, and I'm very itchy (?). I'm heading offline to try and head to bed because I'm also starting to feel fatigue catching up to me.
But it was TOTALLY worth it. :) I usually look at really well made art and feel slightly upset that I'm not that good, but watching great art being made just tickles my fancy. He's doing it again tomorrow night at the same time right HERE. I can't wait. I'll try and take a nap during the day so I don't need any god awful coffee.

Posted 16 years agoI'm not sure what's causing FA not not allow me to log in using firefox, but now I'm stuck using InternetExplorer.... which doesn't act right on my computer!
BAH!
Also, PHotoshop CS4 was lagging hard core even though my system was well equiped for it. I tried CS3, but there's no pen pressure and any picture looks terribly dark. Thanks

I would've updated more but as soon as I got home I passed out, and I woke up not to long ago, and I'm packing again already for a trip to Boston, and then to Ithica later, with my family.

Posted 16 years agoWell, I have my clothes and some toiletries in a K-mart bag, and a sketchpad, camera, and PSP in a book bag. I don't know if that's enough but whatever, Pitt isn't that far away.

Posted 17 years agoThis is a rather odd art funk I'm in, I hate everything I draw, which would normally make me stop.. but for the first time in my life I can't stop drawing because I hate it so much. O_O weird. I'm bound to draw something I like eventually I guess. haha
