What do you recommend?
Posted 3 years agoI have been getting back into drawing. Shocker right.
I have just been doing doodles on paper. But every time i go to make digital art on the computer with my drawing tablet I just loose interest. I like being able to edit and everything it's just having the computer and the mouse and the tablet then getting it set up in a place where I am comfortable yada yada. Just looses it for me.
So I upgraded my tablet to a newer Samsung Tablet with a Pen. *stand alone tablet not a drawing tablet*
This is where I need help.
What are some good aps to draw with?
Paid apps are ok, I am looking for free aps first just to make sure that I will stick with it before forking out some money.

Going away for a while
Posted 5 years agoSoooo I have already gone away for the most part. I doubt anyone is following along with these anymore. But just an update and little explanation I guess.
I am doing ok. So its not really an emotional thing of why i'm not here. I guess in a way I kinda just lost interest.
I don't draw anymore no matter how hard I try. I look back at the comic I was working on (almost finished) and I don't like it as much as i did when i was very heavily into it.
I decided that i'm not going to do anymore updates on here for a while.
If i do ever come back it will be on an all new channel and i'll be fully re imaged on there. I just want to make sure i'm not going to just up and leave for months at a time anymore. And i want a fresh start.
So if i come back i'll be sure to link for people who still want to follow along.
But anyway. I hope everyone is doing ok.

Always knowing a way out, a way to move forward and push on.
I wish you would have seen how many people love you, standing outside your funeral in the pouring rain
because there was no more room in the church.
I wish you would have seen how many people were there, as I and others were carrying you to your final resting place.
Never did I think I would be carrying your casket to where you would be laid to rest.
So many people Lindy. So many people can't stop thinking about you.
People stood at your casket, silent, in the middle of the grave yard for so long. No one wanted to leave.
Our mother couldn't handle it anymore so she was the first to leave. She couldn't see her baby go into the ground.

I don't hate suicide, I know that anyone who gets to that point really sees no other option.
I never would have seen this from you.

Posted 7 years agoHey everyone. Well this is kinda awkward isn't it. Still haven't gotten any work done. But truth be told I do go into the pieces and do little bit here and there. I think I just need to sit down and do one at a time. Just really hard to get the motivation to draw free art I guess. There isn't really much passion in it for me I guess.

Ya know, life is.
Anyway i'm not going to say i'm coming back or that i'm going to draw anytime soon. I'm just stopping by to say i'm alive and still around.
I'm in a very bad place right now and really trying to get my life turned around to where i actually like it again.
I have made some major progress but i sill have a long ways to go.
I will keep yall posted when i ever get this way. And i will finish up my work list (of free art eventually) Goal for sure will be before the end of the year so i guess i better get cracking.

Posted 7 years agoAttempting to art today. I want and need to finish a trade that I feel horrible for not being done yet. That and I need practice pieces for a couple of the programs I am trying out. So if you want some free art let me know. Or a trade would be cool to. Promise after i get my programs figured out I will have a 2 week turn around, unless stated or asked otherwise.

Posted 7 years agoHoly Crap what a couple of months it's been. I'm not going to go into a lot of detail because I don't feel it's needed to share, and people don't seem to really read this anyway so I'm just going to give a quick update.
Life has sucked. Still sucks but working on it.
A lot! Has happened and is still going on but it's getting a little bit easier and better i think and hope...
I caved and bought a computer. First new one I bought sucked so I took it back. The 2nd one I got seems to be amazing so far!!! So I'm excited.
My old computer was loud and ran rough. I could only handle it for about 5 minutes if it were to work and actually do anything for me anyway. So with this new one it's soo much nicer and easier and runs things great. So once I get some work done with just drawing and getting a trade finally finished , i'm going to try to get back into animation.
So if I don't get a 2nd job then I will be putting out more stuff. I was going to quit all together after my trade because I couldn't stand my computer so now that i have one that is actually worth a shit i'm excited to get back to it.
I'm sorry for being scattered. Just my life and brain ect right now. but thanks anyway for reading.

Horrible Person
Posted 8 years agoHey everyone. So while I was healing I didn't do nearly anything that I wanted to. I am still working on getting back into art because I have been feeling the itch so bad.
I have been working on stuff computer willing. I had a great start to something that looked super awesome, lines were great just the way I wanted them and then my computer (Without my permission) started a restart. SO i put my computer aside and let it do its thing. Well threw the update I guess my crap of a lap top overheated so it shut down. When I tried to restart it, it lost all of my work that I had done that day. From working on updating my sona, my trade i was working on, and the comic I started. All trashed and no where to be found. I was heart broken.
So needless to say I took a couple weeks to calm down and now I am ready to try again. (Bought a thumb drive to save on very frequently as for these things to not happen again.)
So with that being said. If i owe you any work, or if you know anyone that i owe work to, please let them know to note me so I can get their work done!

Posted 8 years agoSo I have been slowly getting myself off the pain meds so that i can drive (just in time for the snow to touch the ground :/
But anyway so I have been letting my brother use my drawing tablet while he has been house sitting for me while i am off on my doctor visits and seeing how happy it is making him to draw again has givin me some motivation. So i gave him my old tablet and got myself a new one. So yesterday after cleaning out my computer so it will run better (basically taking everything off of it except my drawing stuff) i set up my new tablet and have been working on my updated ref sheet!!!!
Jax is getting a bit of a change due to a traumatic experience/ deep encounter of depression and darkness.
So that may get a comic to explain his new markings!!! So that will be fun to work on as well i am SUPER EXCITED!!!
I have been thinking and trying to work on those for MONTHS!!!!!
So i'm pretty stoked.
I have about a week or so left of my "Vacation" before i go back to work so HOPEFULLY i can get a good chunk of this done!
So yeah AND I AM ALSO TAKING ART TRADES!!!!

From like... over 5000. Some ranging back from march of this year. So yeah I was a bit behind.
Next I'm planning on updating my ref sheet for Jaxson. But that probably wont be until next week.
My computer is crap so I haven't been able to draw like I want to. That and i'm on some pain killers after having surgery so I seem to sleep a lot while i'm on them. Hopefully I will be off them by next week if I'm lucky :)
In the mean time i'm letting my brother borrow my drawing tablet until he gets his pen replaced. So ya'll have a good one. See ya on the flip side.

Seriously if anyone reads this you should drop a message and say hi! I need to get more social again.
So anyway i guess a bit of an update.
I am living in a place with no internet. And it is very expensive to get internet here. I use the hot spot on my phone very...very very rarely so i can type things up on my computer or go through journals and submissions a bit easier.
I will be off work for about 3 weeks on a bit of a vacation. It's more of a heal cation because i'm taking off for a surgery. I'm not going to say what it is or what it's for so please don't ask and those who know please don't tell.
My point of mentioning that is because i'm going to have a lot of spare bored time. So i may just try to art. No promise.
See i get an urge to draw and i have so many ideas and things i want to do. But then i get to my computer and start the process and it just looses me and i can't get what i want to come through onto the screen. SO i guess that is why i gave up.

Posted 8 years agoI stole this idea from my little brother. But since i only have one sona it's an ask jax and i have to answer from his point of view. I'm doing this to get out of an art funk and i rather butcher my own character than other peoples. I have been doing drawing on my free time but i haven't done anything digital. SO when jax answers a question it will be posted as a drawn out page. So that's how it's helping the funk. So ask away, i may also use this as a tmi tuesday where i will have a full page up every tuesday answering a question. If it really gets me rolling i might post 2 a week. Anywho, have fun!

But i wanna be able to save the videos so i could possibly edit it and then send on to youtube when i get a specific gaming channel set up. I dunno. Anyone have any info on this stuff? Posted 9 years agoI guess its fun to think I'm still a super noob at this site. Cause it was 2 years ago today I joined. That's insane! So I guess this is the start to my 3rd year here? Considering I've been not active... really this past year... I dunno. Lots has been going on. But I have actually been drawing. Just not digital drawings. I've been having ideas in my head and to be honest i just hate my computer. I should really be sleeping right now so i'm so sorry for my random jumping around. So i'm good at lists so i'll just kinda list what i'm thinking.
* Remaking Jackson's Ref Sheet (update him because i feel some of his markings are just a bit much. since i myself am actually thinking about changing some of my tattoos I might have that show through jaxson (one of ours actually match except for the color.) fyi.
* I've been drawing random plot points or scenes to a comic that has been in my head for a while.
OK i'm sleeping at my computer so maybe i'll put something else later. But yeah. 2 years!!! Gawd Damn. Lol

1. I have been living back in Billings Since end of May
2. Got a job and have been there since beginning of June.
3. I am living in a place i can't wait to get out of (looking into apartments for spring)
4. Still Single as fuck... and it's not really the worst thing in the world.

I'm a horrible person
Posted 9 years agoSo i have been gone a while. Sorry. Life has been nuts and i have been in a bit of a hole.
1. Work is crazy and switches my shifts around so many times in a week my sleeping schedule (or lack there of) is really hard to get a grip on.
2. I find my days off are either me sleeping, or getting my house cleaned up from the week, or sleeping. (notice a sleep pattern forming?)
3. When i work the night shift, i rarely get nights (kinda like tonight) Where i can sneak away for a little bit and do some work on my computer (either Art) or like currently applying for jobs and apartments for my move.
4. I'm planning on moving back to billings Montana During the month of may (finances pending) So i will be going down to billings the last week of April to a. Get an apartment B. Get a job That way i can start moving back in parts in may and be fully transitioned back to billings by the 1st of June.
5. I had surgery almost 2 months ago and i am finally back to being able to do everything i wasn't able to do the last 2 months. So that has been great.

And let me clarify on this. If i owe you are and you are tired of waiting. I am sorry. The money i got for one was already refunded by my fault of not having my paypal set up correctly. So right now the work i did have on that one is still sitting waiting to be finished. The other piece i owe is an art trade. I am so very sorry. If you want the money for it i will do that gladly! I have been in such a funk i can't get art out. I have ideas and things i want to do but i can't seem to sit down and get it done. Maybe the week im in billings on my off time i can get some art done. But in the mean time i don't really have motivation to do art because of everything else going on in my brain. So i apologize. Just send me a note or what not and i will do what i can. If you are willing to be patient i greatly appreciate it and it will get to you. I may even do extra just because of the wait. And if you think i forgot about you. PLEASE MESSAGE ME!!! Cause i'm a goof and it's possible i could have forgotten you.

But that's just going to have to wait. I'm not getting the hours at work that i use to when i first got this job. It gave me an extra 200-300$ a paycheck. So since i have been missing that i have been hurting. So even with cutting back on everything (i can't tell you how long my fridge has been empty) so even with cutting back i am still struggling paycheck to paycheck. (collections/debt/bills take it all) I got one paid off. But still have a lot to go. and my 20,000$ hospital bill from surgery is going to suck even worse :(
So in all. I'm still alive. I'm struggling but i guess that's life. I'm hoping with more oppertuninty and a social life in billings. That i'll at least be happier. That would be a great progress compared to where i'm living now.
So stay peachy everyone. :( im just trying to get it all figured out.
1. Work is crazy and switches my shifts around so many times in a week my sleeping schedule (or lack there of) is really hard to get a grip on.
2. I find my days off are either me sleeping, or getting my house cleaned up from the week, or sleeping. (notice a sleep pattern forming?)
3. When i work the night shift, i rarely get nights (kinda like tonight) Where i can sneak away for a little bit and do some work on my computer (either Art) or like currently applying for jobs and apartments for my move.
4. I'm planning on moving back to billings Montana During the month of may (finances pending) So i will be going down to billings the last week of April to a. Get an apartment B. Get a job That way i can start moving back in parts in may and be fully transitioned back to billings by the 1st of June.
5. I had surgery almost 2 months ago and i am finally back to being able to do everything i wasn't able to do the last 2 months. So that has been great.

And let me clarify on this. If i owe you are and you are tired of waiting. I am sorry. The money i got for one was already refunded by my fault of not having my paypal set up correctly. So right now the work i did have on that one is still sitting waiting to be finished. The other piece i owe is an art trade. I am so very sorry. If you want the money for it i will do that gladly! I have been in such a funk i can't get art out. I have ideas and things i want to do but i can't seem to sit down and get it done. Maybe the week im in billings on my off time i can get some art done. But in the mean time i don't really have motivation to do art because of everything else going on in my brain. So i apologize. Just send me a note or what not and i will do what i can. If you are willing to be patient i greatly appreciate it and it will get to you. I may even do extra just because of the wait. And if you think i forgot about you. PLEASE MESSAGE ME!!! Cause i'm a goof and it's possible i could have forgotten you.

Moving back to Billings!!!
Posted 9 years agoSo it has been decided. I don't know the exact date i'll be back. All i know is in may i will be giving my notice to my landlord and to my job.
So by the end of may/ 1 of June i will be living in billings again. I have a lot of stuff i have to work on and get done before then. But its not my first time moving across the state of montana. And i'll probably move again.
this is just a heads up! And if there are any other billings furries that follow me maybe we can hang out!!! Thanks!
