Posted 10 years agoOverall I had a great experience, but I actually had my 3DS stolen out of a friend's car. That fucking sucked. Then there was an...unpleasant experience with what we refer to as an orca orc. But, was great seeing everyone, had a great time, can't wait for the next one!

I turned 21
Got a boyfriend that is absolutely amazing
Ratia <3 <3
Got a job
Bought a pet snake
Had a great time at Megaplex/Elliots/other furry events
And that's about it for the big stuff. Of course I did hang out with several amazing furs during the year, although I unfortunately had to miss any new years parties due to work. But, I'll see you all again at some point. Plus I did get to spend it with my foxy, so its all good.
So again, Happy New Years to everyone~ Hope 2015 is good.

Posted 11 years agoListen up. My birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks, and I would love to have a party at Dave n Busters. The thing is, I need a minimum of 20 guests. Another thing is, I AM TERRIBLE AT PLANNING THINGS. I will need help with planning, and seeing how many people are even interested in going.
If that falls through, my backup plan is to just have a cookout or something, or see if people want to go to Disney or something.
ALL IN ALL, my birthday will be special because its my 21st and I want to feel special-er on that day. I know that probably makes me sound all spoiled n shit, but yea...I don't really ask for much that often >.=.>

Birthday coming up, need help figuring out what to do.

Posted 11 years agoOk so, I obviously won't be able to talk about EVERYTHING that happened, but, I had the best time I've ever had in my life this past weekend and omg I love everyone that went there. Only bad thing that really happened was passing out, but that was my own damn fault XD
And accidentally tearing a badge in half, which I do feel pretty bad about, but other than that, awesome time <3

Posted 11 years agoSooooo some bullshit. I got my friend to drive me to work today...she lives like 30 minutes away, so kind of out of her way, but she didn't mind. What sucks is that the schedule was changed without me knowing, and now I don't work today OR tomorrow. I'm pretty pissed off because now that's 2 of my 3 shifts taken, and Idunno yet if I'll get any more to replace them.
The upside is that I am now 100% confirmed to be off for all of Megaplex. So...that's something.

Posted 11 years agoSo something pretty stupid happened at the bar last night. All in all I had an amazing time, but this one thing really got to me. Basically I was sitting with a couple new people I met, playing Magic. Some one comes over, basically insults me (playful or not, still kind of obnoxious) them goes on to talk to the people literally right behind me and tell them he's leaving, and never says goodbye to me. That bothered me quite a bit.
The night did get better because I got to hang out with some good friends after that, but that still bothered me.
On a side note, I also need to be more assertive. I have good friends, who I love and appreciate dearly, but for the most part I don't have many people that I can call my best friends. I used to, but they kinda drifted away from me. Which I know is also partly my fault for not talking to them as much,but it is a two-way street. I can't be expected to do all the talking.
Also, when people have get-together and I'm not even told about it (by people who'd once told me they'd let me know if anything was going on) it makes me feel unimportant. That may not be entirely the case, but I want to at least be a thought when these things come up.
Granted I do get invited out occasionally, usually when I'm busy, which is fine and I do appreciate those offers, but at the same I want to feel wanted somewhere.
Which also reminds me that I really hate confronting people or bothering them about these things, so I figured I'd just get it all out at once. This why I say I need to be more assertive and put my foot down more often, and not let people ignore me or walk all over me.
Don't get me wrong, I do love all of my friends to death, but sometimes I'm just the odd man out, and I'm saying that its been enough of that. But at the same time, I shouldn't be the only one making am effort to talk more. I know people have things going on, can't talk all the time, but I have problems too, which is why I want to be more social and hang out more. Especially now that I have a job and some money.
If you actually did read all this, thank you.
