Posted 15 years agoSo I'm not arty.. yet.. Forza 3?
Posted 16 years agoSo you may wonder the subject line. Marrra and I just got a copy of Forza Motorsport 3 (Limited Editions) each and the decal maker in the game is great, as is the photography area (which I love!).
Now, I have good ideas.. much to Marrra's dismay that I can't draw.. The connection from brain to paper doesn't work for me. Here is where Forza 3 comes into play.. I've been downloading images of a few dragons, some Rottweillers and linked a few Jayven pics to my home email..
Wish me luck and I'll see how I go doing a few furry designs on my cars.. Dunno how it will go but it is a huge step for me to say: What the hell.. let's give this a try!
If I do do anything, I'll submit them.

Movember
Posted 16 years agoSo it is that time of the year and this puppy decided.. why the hell not..
http://au.movember.com/mospace/15340
My face is far too cold now and ye gads I look too young now.. never again, unless for fundraising of this time, will I do this in known history :P
Anyway, feel free to check out the above link and donate if you can.
From the Movember website:
Movember is an annual, month-long celebration of the moustache, highlighting men’s health issues, specifically prostate cancer and depression in men.
Mo Bros, supported by their Mo Sistas, start Movember (November 1st) clean shaven and then have the remainder of the month to grow and groom their moustache. During Movember, each Mo Bro effectively becomes a walking billboard for men’s health and, via their Mo, raises essential funds and awareness for Movember’s men’s health partners – The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and beyondblue – the national depression initiative. At the end of Movember, a series of Gala Partés are held to thank Mo Bros and Sistas for their support and fund raising efforts.
The idea for Movember came about in 2003 when a few mates were having a beer in a small bar in Fitzroy, Melbourne. Inspired by the women’s health movement, it was recognized that men were lacking a way to engage and actively involve themselves in their own health. During a conversation about fashion and past trends, the idea came up to bring the moustache back for one month, and in doing so, have some fun, raise a small amount of money and hopefully encourage men to talk about their health with each other.
Since this time, Movember has continued to grow each year, both in terms of participation numbers and funds raised. In its first year, 30 Mo Bros took part in Movember and last year, in Australia alone, 125,000 Mo Bro & Sistas got on board, raising more than $8million for each of Movember’s men’s health partners.

Apologies
Posted 16 years agoSorry if I seem vacant lately.. I very much have been since the change in meds over the last 4 weeks now. I've been pretty much devoting my time to Marrra and playing Lord of the Rings Online. Everything else I was doing in life like roleplaying and browsing over FA has halted indefinitely.
I'll keep updating though as I can.

Shadow of the Past
Posted 16 years agoIt was one of those cruising days, nothing going wrong and all going pretty well, until you get a message from someone way into the past and it all goes to hell.
Blah, shadows of the past are sometimes good with meeting old friends but then when you meet one who has raped a past girlfriend, you wonder how you reply to the said person, whether to ignore, play nice, play neutral or let hell break loose.
I’m leaning towards the last since I have this feeling he has no idea what the girl went through after that day, that day he stopped being a friend.
Sorry, venting moment today. Keeping it as clean as I can right now since I never forgive even a best friend for that action.

Slowly but surely
Posted 16 years agoSo I'm one step closer to becoming my fursona. Jayven has nipple piercings.. now I have the right one done. Aside from ears, this was my first non-normal piercing as it were and from what the lady said.. I sure do bleed easily :P
Poor work polo shirt is half wet so I could try and avoid blood strains.
So.. that is the gist of me at present.. hate needles but LOVED getting that done.. can't wait for the second..

Aftermath of RivFur
Posted 16 years agoSo Marrra and I had a ball there in Brisbane (hahaha.. ball.. dog.. ball.. *rolls eyes and walks away) and have some organising to do over the next year and a half :)
We are also going to try to come up to Brisbane once every two years so we can be up there for a few more weeks than the 5 days we were there last.
Other than that, I am back to work this week and missing it all. Work is good, pays the bills, keeps me from eating the house out of pocket but I miss the snuggles, miss meeting people (gah, another scary thing normally for me and my anxiety) and most of all.. I miss my purple fox! You know who you are ;)
So, the life now is just coasting along, the romantic in me coming back out as I plot evily behind Marrra's back ;) But really.. we're good.. going to get out of Mount Gambier once a month for camping, a day out here and there, just get aways.
The next event though to plan for is.. MidFur! Well.. at least to go to Melbourne over the same said weekend and catch up. We're not going to the events as such, just want to touch base with people.
Uh, I think that is it for now.. normally I can't do the journal thing.. guess that has changed too since RivFur.
