Sorry I have been seemingly gone for so long. Started a new job a few weeks back and it has been eating my time up like mad. Working quite a bit more hours than I am used to, I seemingly have not had time to do much. Sadly also been getting down on myself (not quite depression, but depressive moments) about still trying to find someone I can call a mate. Never helps drive me to draw XD. I am seemingly just giving up on the search though. There just is not enough furry/furry accepting females out there it seems. Still working on allowing myself to be in a gay relationship though ^.^ So I am seemingly just accepting that it wont happen.

A bit sidetracked there, sorry. I still want to do a monthly suggestion piece this month, so please put out your suggestions!

I have military obligations (National Guard) this weekend, but I am hoping that it will be over sooner than later today so that I can do a freebie stream tonight.

I have been trying to keep up with the art itself. Anyone find any new comics lately? Any new epic creations? Anything you are really proud of done by your own hand?

I am looking to creating a comic (and possibly a video) with a set idea in mind: "Welcome To FurAffinity! Your step by step guide to be a popufur a well loved furry!" This will likely involve a basic lined chibi furry character to help represent the 'new comer' to FA.

What I need help with is some of the more stereotypes that come with FA. Now I know quite a few, but I can always use more.

Things like:

"And here you have the "Commission Info" tab! No need to ever use this, even if you draw, because this is meant to always be blank. Entering anything here, especially your commission info, will inevitably cause FA to crash."

"Here are ads for great aspiring artists on FA. Of course none of these you will ever hear about because Ad Block should always be turned on!"

"Always remember that when ever you get a roll over for watchers or pageviews (IE 10, 100, 1000, 10000, ect) that you need to hold a kiriban raffle to give away free things! This is in the binary fine print of acceptance that you agreed to once joining FA. If you don't do this, it will inevitably cause FA to crash."

I dont play minecraft often, but I like to have a goal in mind.

So one of my favorite things to do is start with a group and in a single sitting get through the entire game. survive, create, and kill the dragon.

Best so far is about 3 hours. Average is 5.

My idea is for Stolf to be in the middle with a drink in one paw, relaxed and reposed. Leaning back as one of his large hindpaws is getting massaged and/or licked by your character to the left. To the right of Stolf would be Terial. bent over with her tail lifted and facing the viewer. Either tending to an empty glass from Stolf, or massaging his free handpaw. A lick/kiss upon his cheek or paw would work as well.

I was thinking a lounge setting or poolside. The girls and stolf wearing swimming gear/bikinis/speedo.

two versions would be done. one sfw and one not. no innate sexual contact will be made in this piece.

I am curious. I have had some people talk/complain about this and I would like to ask:

Does creating/getting SFW art, with the exception of chibis, seem pointless to you.

I am hoping for honest answers and not the politically constrained "Furries are not all about porn, so there is little of it."



I like SFW furry stuff. Espeically action/reaction/interaction pieces. But it does seem under valued. Everyone loves porn that comes out, but only a handfull will seem to like a nature hike piece beyond the artist that drew it or the direct commissioner.

I guess silver lining. If done enough, it will show that the ads have no place within the rule set.

This has been something that has been intriguing me for quite a while and I start to wonder how other people feel about it. This is an open area. You are free to speak your mind here with no repercussions.


Do you think that the seemingly single body style that is drawn by/for furries gives people an unrealistic view upon what we want to be?

Kind of the same lines of wondering if fashion, fitness, etc magazines create body/self image issues.

With all of the 'popular' furries, and most (70%+) furry art, belonging to a single body style; does this create problems about what we want ourselves to look like? Our characters to look like? Our mate's or pets to look like?
