I'm still around and writing.

I know that I haven't uploaded anything in a while, but everything is ok on my end, just a lot of work.

I'm preparing a special surprise and christmas gift for my watchers and readers, including something with 2 versions. So please check back around December 25th for something special.

Since people keep trying to make comments, criticisms, and feedback on this story, no more chapters will be uploaded until the story is complete. I have also deleted the story from Archive of our Own. I have asked multiple times for people not to do this, but it still happens.

It is too difficult for me to keep this a personal story with these messages as I am constantly second guessing myself, asking whether what I'm writing is because it is what I want or what the readers want. As such, I feel like I have no other choice in this decision. If it starts happening here as well, I'll take it down on here until it is complete, then repost it.

I do apologize for being a bit absent lately.

My work has been asking me to relocate later this year or early next year, but will not provide relocation assistance. In order to make the money I need to relocate, I have to take on overtime and extra travel opportunities.

For the past few weeks, I have been travelling to other places for work, earning an average of $800 per week on top of my regular pay.

While travelling, I don't have much time to myself let alone write stories.

I am taking some paid time off from work this coming week, only working 2 days. During this time off work, I plan on finishing and uploading at least one story.

I am going to be starting a SubscribeStar page. Link will be posted in the details in the next Ashchu and Son chapter.

I need a break from writing Ashchu and Son, so I am going to put the sotry on hiatus. But first, I 'm going to be finishing up a few more chapters (It will probably be around chapter 33 or 34), as I want to get it to a certain point before doing that. I don't know how long it will last this time, hopefully not too long.

I have some other projects I want to work on during this time and maybe do some one off stories. I also have ideas for more story series and will probably create a posting schedule that rotates between all of them to avoid getting burnt out so much like Ashchu and Son is doing.

I also would like to start doing holiday themed stories, maybe some special side stories for Ashchu and Son which are holiday themed.

When the last chapter of Ashchu and Son is posted (the last one before the hiatus that is), I'm going to create a couple of polls that you, my viewers can vote on what I write next. One poll will be single choice that will list pairings, and the other will be multiple choice that will list fetishes, which I will take the top 3 or 4. The poll will last for 1 week, and once the story is posted, another set of polls will be put in the description of that story.

This is my current plan going forward this year.

First of all, I know I haven't been thanking people for watches and fav's very much lately, I've been a bit busy with work and writing. I do appreciate everyone that found my stories and faved them, as well as, watching my page. Those are a couple of the things that keeps me writing.

Now to the actual journal:

It is looking like Ashchu and Son is going to go a bit beyond 30 chapters.

I am planning at least a couple more chapters featuring Human Ash and a point in which I can bring the series to a logical close at any time if I need to.

As you may have noticed, I have been experimenting with a few things here and there just to gauge the reaction so that I can write better chapters.

I really do value input and suggestions for upcoming chapters, please feel free to contact me via note or comment on FA, pm on IB, or on Telegram. I like to hear what readers like and don't like about the story. I do read all of them, I may not reply, but I try to. It is my goal to write as much of what readers like as I can, which is why I encourage the communication as much as possible, as that is the best way for me to know what to write.

This is my opinion of the Detective Pikachu movie, I will try to have as few spoilers as possible.

I just saw the Detective Pikachu movie and I must say it is a good movie to see if you have a chance. You can tell they went through quite a bit of trouble getting all the pokemon in the movie to look so realistic.

The storyline itself could have been better, it seems a lot more work went in to the CGI than the story. The few times a poke ball was shown and used, it was actually really cool and looked as real as it could.

Even though the previews give a glimpse of Mewtwo, he is actually a prominent character in the movie, and they really captured how fierce he is with the CGI, especially when he used his powers.

I'd love to see a regular pokemon movie with this kind of realism, it would take the franchise to an entire new level.

This movie is also a good reference for imagery for my stories. As I watched, I couldn't help but think how they perfectly captured the way I imagine the pokemon when writing my stories.

After some serious consideration, I have decided to move Ashchu and Son to a Once a Month posting schedule. I will post Chapter 20 on March 12, then the new schedule will take effect. I will be posting new chapters around the 15th of each month. This will probably be changed back once I have finished writing the rest of the series.

I just got offered a tehnician job at IBM. With the description of the job responsibilities, I may not have a lot of time to write, Worst comes to worst, I'll have to change my posting timeframe to once a month.

Still going a bit strong on Ashchu and Son. One of the main things that keeps my motivation is actually watching Pokemon while I write. But, I am almost through the series again, and I'll be taking a break from it for a month or so. Don't worry though, I won't put it on hiatus again, I have enough written to keep posting for longer than that at this point.

What you should expect is stories other than Pokemon during this time. I'm getting burnt out on Pokemon stories and want to vary what I post, so my current plans are to write stories for other TV and Video Game series. If you see me post these, don't worry, Ashchu and Son will still be posted on time. I just want to write other stuff for a while.

After a month and a half on hiatus, Ashchu and Son will finally start being posted again starting on January 1st. This does come with a sacrifice, I had to split an encounter into 2 chapters, which means chapters 19 and 20 will be short. I hope everyone enjoys the new chapters coming up.

I just completed chapter 18 yesterday and moving along quite nicely with chapter 19.

I do have an idea to get 19 and 20 done by next week and bring the story out of hiatus, but it requires something I don't like to do, make an encounter cover 2 chapters. This would mean that in the middle of the encounter, the chapter will end and pick up in the next one.

I prefer to finish the encounter and have the story move along in the following chapter, but doing so will make the hiatus last a bit longer. So, in order to bring this out of hiatus as quickly as possible, I'll have chapters 19 and 20 be a two parter. If everything works out, I'll have chapter 20 done by next week and start posting again.

I just got done writing chapter 17, Once I get done with chapter 20, the story will come out of hiatus. The reason for this is to hopefully help prevent a future hiatus, just in case I get hung up on a chapter like I did on 17.

I've been hung up on chapter 17 since before the hiatus and irl events and it was difficult for me to write because of the content, which contains one of the things on my "Will not write" list. I put that content in there so readers interested in that stuff can get something out of the series. For those not interested in that kind of content, all they have to read is the first part, which only contains normal content, the rest really isn't relevant to the rest of the series, which is another thing that made it difficult to write.

I am writing at a faster pace now, since the content is easier for me to write and hoping to be done with chapter 20 and ready to start posting again by the middle of January, but I cannot guarantee it. I really want to continue the series and have those interested in reading it to have something to read.

In order to get the series off of hiatus and get back to posting it, chapters 17-20 will be a little short.

I'm going to end this journal for now and get back to writing, I'll probably post another update at a later date.

I hope this hiatus for Ashchu and Son will be over soon and I know you guys want to read more. I didn't intend this hiatus to go on for so long, but writing isn't so easy right now.

I want to write more one-off stories as well. I know some people want more Ash/Mewtwo stories, but I kinda want to do different pairings, possibly a rape story where Ash does the raping. I also want to write stuff other than pokemon, so you should expect that in the future.

For the time being, commissions and requests will be closed. I will post when they are open again. I have had a couple of people message me about commissions and sadly I can't bring myself to do commissions right now.

That being said, I am very happy my wathcher count has exceeded 300 again. I do appreciate every single one of you for watching and hope I don't disappoint you.

I'm almost completely unpacked in my new place and I will be able to start writing normally again.

Just thought I'd give a little update on my move.

All of my stuff is now moved to my new place and in the process of unpacking and putting stuff away. I am going back to the old place for short periods to do some cleaning to save money on professional cleaners as I like to have the place in as good condition as possible when I turn in my keys.

I still have a bit of work to go before I can delcare my move 100% complete. That being said, I am still taking commissions, however I won't be able to start writing until probably tuesday or wednesday (16th or 17th).

I am currently debating whether to upload the next chapter tomorrow (Oct 2) afternoon/evening central time. I have to work in the morning on Wednesday an may or may not be able to upload it then.

This may become a normal pattern where I will upload a day early or day late. This is due to my new job, the work schedule is not consistent every week, so I don't have the same days off or work the same hours each week.

I won't be posting anymore journals like this, this one is just to let you know that I'll probably be posting chapters a day early or late this time and later.

I'm going to upload a new chapter in a bit, instead of tomorrow.

I am starting a new job in a couple of weeks. There is one major downside with this, it really tightens my budget as I'm taking over $3/hr pay cut.

With this comes one very important update, I am opening commissions with no restrictions. Since I really need the money, I have no choice but to accept commissions that fall within my will not write list. I do, however, reserve the right to refuse commissions for any reason, but I don't anticipate using that right very often as I need the money.

Another thing, I had to cancel my quickbooks account, which means I am back to using Paypal for commissions. For those of you that have commissioned me in the past, I was able to download a list of my past commissioners, so you'll still get your 10% discount.

In order to save time, any commissions I accept for the time being will not be posted on any site by me, however the commissioner is free to post the commission wherever they want as long as they give me credit for writing it.

I will be posting a new chapter on September 5.

I am slowly getting back into writing it while taking care of IRL stuff (Packing for move, studying for A+ certification exams, internet issues, etc.). This means that there is still a possibility of a hiatus, however it won't last too long.

I have also decided that in order to alleviate some of the work, I will not be posting alternate versions of chapters that contain less desirable content. I know I promised earlier I would post alternate versions, but too much is happening in my life right now to worry about that, I will reconsider doing alternate versions in the future when I don't have so much going on.

My mate's birthday is wednesday, so I'm going to be spending the day with him. So, I will not be posting the next chapter until the next scheduled upload (September 5th). I could post it on a different day, but I think this way is best since it will delay putting the story on hiatus for a bit.

My college course is going very smoothly.

Another situation has unveiled itself recently. My lease is up in a couple of months and they are raising my rent by $60/month, which I am unable to afford. So, while not studying or doing any college stuff or working, I'm searching for a new apartment.

My dilemma is that I cannot afford to move as well, so I'm trying to reach out to family before trying to get a loan for the expenses. All of this means I'll have little to no time to write.

I will continue to post chapters for the time-being, hoping that I can get some writing done. I may have to eventually put the story on hiatus. I really don't want to, but if I can't write, I can't post, so a hiatus may be inevitable.
