*Saying Goodbye in 2021?*
Posted 5 years agoThis might be my last journal on here all together. This isn't a rant or a vent whatsoever.
Look guys.. I enjoyed all of you that's had some connection with me on this site, art or conversation, that I've come across. But I feel like now it may be time to move on. With that said, I'm cutting ties with a few furries seeing that I'm not one of you or I don't call myself to be one. Never did really. I just enjoyed the artwork and made my own characters.
It dawned on me that the furry community doesn't really like my humanoid art style. I can't draw furries like everyone else sees them. If someone is impressed by what I draw, I'm grateful and humble for that and I appreciate the love. That's what keeps me going. And I'm not gonna do too much nsfw art just to make money. That's not being productive to me.
I remember years ago when the fandom was fun and exciting! I was ready to see what the next art work from my favorite artists was gonna be on VCL haha. Now it's not all that fun as it once was. I don't see it too much anymore. I left the fandom years ago though and it's probably time for me to leave here also. I still have DeviantArt.

I'm sick of being sick..
First the sinus infection, couldn't smell for at least two weeks. Got better last week and now... Guess what? I'm hit with chest pains out of nowhere!
What the f's going on with my body?
No one cares enough to see how I'm doing when I'm rubbing my neck and chest..
They'll just assume it's "that" I have to deal with it myself.
I don't know what to do and I'm just tired of it now. 😩😩😩😔😔😔

So much has been going on lately.. I can't really concentrate on my art anymore. I've been sick for a few days but I'm feeling somewhat ok now. Only problem I have now is a Sinus pressure, like my sinuses are blocked to where I can't smell anything. :{

2020 into 2021

Nothing positive.
Glad it's almost over.. Not sure how next year will be, but one thing's for certain.. I'm not gonna be a pushover anymore. I'm gonna be more assertive and productive in life. I feel like I'm too nice and people are taking advantage of it. 2021 is gonna be different.
I tried to this year but with everything going on, it's hard to get motivated to do anything. I gotta motivate myself somehow and excel my art and myself to greater things. Despite what anyone says, I'm blessed to have hands to draw things the way I do that no one can do.
And for those who ignore me, that's gonna be your worse decision because looking over someone like me who possesses great potential in this art world is dangerous haha. I'll be on top soon. I'm not there yet, I'm secretly making my way to the top of the mountain.
I'm on my way and when I look down on everyone who ignored me, disrespected me, belittled me, discouraged me and looked down on me will be coming back to me begging for handouts and I'll definitely turn them down.
Screw them and screw 2020. 👏🏾

I've seen this a lot lately and I honestly don't like it. It's least thing I would draw regardless of how much I love a specific cartoon characters.
I think putting someone's OC with a character like Renamon, Krystal or Lola in nsfw art is a population move to get noticed. As much as I love Babs Bunny, I don't see myself doing any nsfw art of her. Although I will admit I love seeing her dressing different than she normally dresses hehe. I'd loved to see the new Lola than the old her haha XP
That's just my opinion though. I might be the only one who thinks that lol XD but yeah! 😂

The Problem with doing Trades

I love doing trades and everything but sometimes I feel like they should be done a certain way.
One person starts off with a simple sketch. After that sketch is done, then the other artist should do their sketch and inking. After thats done, we go back to the first artist and they do their finishing touches and then ink, color and finish up. Then the other artist does the same and both are finished at the same time.
I feel like now I'm in a tight spot with some trades right now that are already finished and I haven't really started on yet.. Some I might need to change and some I have no idea how to start. :/
But that's how trades should be done.
I love doing trades and everything but sometimes I feel like they should be done a certain way.

Stress/Delays/Updates/...more Stress

It's been a stressful week already, especially this past weekend..
My Xbox One is out of commission right now but I found the solution and hopedully it'll be here this week. Other than that, I'm not getting paid enough at my job because I had to cut a day because of my other coworker coming back to work after an accident back the early part of this year. That's why I'm trying to bring up some new ychs so I'll have some money on the side.
As far as the trades go, I'm slowly working on them and some I might need to change because I can't exactly draw what is being asked of me to draw. I hate myself for not being to draw what is given in the trade. x,-,x but I still wanna give something.
I work better when I have more commissions because to me they mean my art is worth something.
So yeah, a lot of stuff, good and bad, has happened in the last couple of days. And it's somewhat stressing me out. Doubts and fears are trying to take over but I'm holding on. I have one..no two support systems that helps.

I just wanted to give an update on everything going on in my life. :)
Good things are happening for me, thanks to certain people I'm grateful to have met.
First off, I have a girlfriend now hehe we've been talking a lot and she had feelings for me for a long time now but was shy to come to me hehe she's really sweet and a tough cookie at the same time haha she's my wolf queen 🐲💖🐺
Second, I can't thanks
lysozyme enough for taking my emergency commission! If it wasn't for that, I'd probably be without power tomorrow here at home. That last bit helped out with the light bill x,-,x I'm in your debt, man. If you need anything or just want something drawn, let me know! I got you! 😄👍🏾
Third, I feel my artwork is getting more noticeable on Twitter.. Somewhat. Hehe and by an unexpected audience too. Porn stars! 😂 two of them I've seen on Twitter actually faved my art on Twitter! That's something! 😂 they're friendly and I'm grateful to them! 😊
Lastly, the trades and commissions. The trades are still on. I just need to start on my part first! My art schedule is from 930am to 1230am because I have to get ready for work afterwards.
There's been some bad moments and.. Not-so-good moments but I've prevailed and moved on. And gotten better! Thanks to everyone who's interacted with me here.

Can I Ever Catch A Break?
Posted 5 years agoI feel like it's time to give up now.
Another one of my aunties just passed away this morning.
I don't know how to feel about it right now though but I hate losing family members as anyone else does. I guess I'm just coping with it the only way I know how..
My art world is somewhat crumbling under me. I work hard and try to show my worth and hard work. I'm doing it for myself but also to put myself out there and maybe somewhat get some kind of interaction. Not just likes and faves. I wanna make money with my art, not just do trades.
My life sucks right now.. I have no motivation to really do what I wanna do nor do I have any rl friends I can count on. My escape is social media but nowadays that's a mistake.
I'm just tired of trying and trying and still getting nowhere and losing a family member doesn't help much.. The world is hell. Everything is just negative. There's nothing positive about whats going on. Nothing's gonna change. People are dying still regardless of the virus.
I'll never be full of happiness. I'll never have a girlfriend, I'll never have my first kiss, let alone being intimate with a female. Yeah, I'm still a virgin at 35,i don't give a damn if ya know or not. I'm not ashamed at this point. I'm just a normal guy with low self-esteem and no motivation to move forward in life.
Just sick of it all. 😔
