Posted 7 years agoOi! Are you one of my 600 watchers? Want to get an art from me? Well if you've ever watched Full Metal Alchemist, you'd know this would require a lil somethin called Equivalent Exchange!
I want to branch out more, and while I have a few projects in progress, I'd still like to take the opportunity to get to know some of you better and draw something for you guys, in exchange for some form of work for me!
There really aren't going to be many rules. If you want to participate, just pick an OC of mine from my gallery, and draw em in some way for me. I ask that you show a bit of respect to my work, and if you can't, at least make it funny. My half will be drawing something for you of equal value,one of your characters, sketch, color, or fully done, it doesn't matter. I will try my best, and hopefully this will be an opportunity for me to get to know some of my artistic watchers, and maybe even make some friends!
If you're interested in being social and would like to draw something for me while receiving some work of your own, send me a note! Or comment on this journal. I will not be likely to say no, so please, dont be shy!

4. EVERYTHING
5.Artists don't want anything to do with you unless you got cash.
6. People here aren't as accepting as you think they are.
7. You may encounter folks just a little out of touch with reality.
8. Otherkin can get fucked
9. The people who aren't fucked in the head tend to hide, you gotta look hard for them.
10. You can get famous if you have a lot of money
11. Your fame will scale upwards based on how many dicks you take
12. Everything will be sexualized. Even if the source material is not at all sexy. Yes people are that fucked in the head.
13. At the end of the day, furries are freaks but, ultimately harmless unless you spend a lot of time on the internet. Just populate that blacklist, stick to your guns, and try not to let the weirdness get to you. You can really make friends here that will last a lifetime, and this is a place where anybody can be anything without judgement. It really is, in its own way, a utopia for people who just want to be accepted.

First off, no I'm not dead...i'm a truck driver...I'm busy. Don't worry I still draw and make sketches...and if you're really good maybe I'll post some.

I personally took the time to write out a story and flesh out the character of just about every OC I've come up with, the only reason I drew porn with them is because A: Somebody asked me to, and B: Eh, why not, it's non-canonical anyway.
When I see people go "Wow that's a really great character he/she really stands out!" while the OC in question is only pictured in pornographic images and the like, I find it incredibly hilarious and yet at the same time infuriating...since I again, take the time to flesh out my ideas and give my OC's life rather than just do what everyone else does and sexualize everything...

Posted 11 years agoThe furry community, in nearly it's entirety...cannot take ANY criticism.
And I'm not talking about the fandom in general, I'm talking about any ONE section of the fandom, wherever you go...if you say ONE bad thing, or criticize in the slightest, you will get your face pulled off.
That...is really sad to me. I'm well aware being a furry we get enough shit and criticism as it is, yet the concept of "acceptance' seems to be pushed so hard onto all of us that it's like everyone is the Gestapo. ANY thoughts other than "love everyone and everything and criticize nothing" is met with SERIOUS harshness, to the point that it's just straight up immature.
No matter how you look at it, the furry community CANNOT take criticism in their step, not one section of it...none. ESPECIALLY those who don't draw on their own, get a lot of commissions, get famous, and then get criticized for it. Like I do to them...
I've been at this art thing for years, and my fanbase has been...slim, at best. Mainly because I refuse to whore myself out and let random people fuck my characters... thing is I've got dignity. Yea I came to the furry community for acceptance but, now that I see it's flaws AND point them out, I feel as though I'm being rejected by the very thing I embraced.
It ain't fun, and it's just not cool at all. We've become hypocrites, unable to accept the idea that maybe someone thinks that this is just a bit creepy but not able to address them in a way that makes them feel even more like a subhuman.
I feel as though this may have been a fact since before I arrived, but honestly, I feel like people have seriously lost their way. Nowadays the fandom's strangeness is emphasized even more through this site alone, and even the talentless with deep pockets have managed to create themselves a reputation by just buying the services of someone else to make themselves famous. I was honestly under the impression that this was a place for me to just submit my work but...honestly this feels more like a place for me to gawk at everyone around me while I piss into the wind trying to get someone to pay attention.
I'm a hobbyist and I realize I have to find an audience but, after 4 years, this has become very old. It's not that I myself am receiving criticism, because I'm not, that is until I open my mouth and people lash out at me for "insulting" them.
The fandom needs to get it's shit together and figure out if it's REALLY a community, or just a big corporation, because honestly, I've begun to get weary of the immaturity. I want something more than just a make believe fantasy world, I'm a furry because I'm a generally happy person, and I like to draw, and enjoy looking at people's art. Honestly, I feel as though I have outgrown this place, and am beginning to wonder what I should REALLY be doing with my artwork, rather than submitting it to a page that gets no real attention.

Busy Husky is Busy
Posted 11 years agoSo because I care enough to make an announcement so everybody will know and not get pissed off at me...
My schooling starts on Nov. 17th, and classes go from 7 to 11 PM, Monday thru Friday. This means that I will become exceedingly busy throughout the week, especially on work days. My estimated time of graduation is early May. If all goes well I'll be on the road by then, but this does mean that I won't have as much time to hang out or game or whatever during the week, especially once I'm done with school, because I won't be at home anymore.
Rest assured I will still be around to give updates and whatnot on the situation, and I know there are a certain few of my friends scattered around the country who I KNOW I'm gonna visit...AND it will give me more time to draw up some neato pictures for while I'm on the road!
Early Friday's, Saturday's, or late Sundays will be my available days, all other days will be work, then immediately school, and then home to go to bed and die for about 8 hours to do it all again. It'll be tough, but I've been waiting for this moment for a good while now, and I'm really excited to start!
Don't worry though, I'll still keep in contact over the web, and I'll more than likely at least bring my Xbox to keep myself busy when I'm not driving. Thanks everybody who supports and believes in me, it's gonna be a grueling 6 months but it's gonna be worth it in the end!

Rule 34, Popular Characters, and Proportions

Because ruining a beloved franchise that has nothing to do with porn whatsoever, WITH porn, strikes me as...really dumb. And whenever I look at it, I can't get over the fact that I know the REAL deal is NOTHING like that. It bothers me to all hell when people take popular characters and twist them into something rather perverted, it speaks a lot about that person...especially when you put it to a kid's show...(I'm looking at you bronies, you sick fucks)
So this is why, I don't ever draw something from a popular TV show or something in a "rule 34" situation, because it's just wrong. It makes me feel like I'm defaming somebody else's work, and it's why I just stick to coming up with my own works of art that come from MY head, that I can feel free to do whatever with because I created them.

Now, moving on to the "Popular Characters" segment. I cannot stand...one bit...people who have a popular character that "belongs to them" smeared all over every art website I come across...and yet that person has done NO work of their own character, and have really no artistic ability whatsoever, instead relying on everyone around them to make their character famous for them. That strikes me as cheating, big time, and it makes it harder for people like me who come up with shit on their own to become even the slightest bit noticed or appreciated. If you came up with some ice dragon person and you want to lay "claim" to that thing, you better have drawn SOMETHING to show for it if you want to plaster that character all over an art website, because as far as I'm concerned, you're just clogging up the place like it's a forum with shit you didn't do, and it's a waste of space for those who will actually put real work into it. Hell even if it's a fucking stick figure drawing of your fursona or character, show some fucking work for it, if you wanna show that THAT particular person belongs to YOU, then you better draw it motherfucker!

I've taken to drawing much more curvy and full figured characters, I draw what I like, I draw the things that I like. Clearly I like curvy girls (but i have my limits).
Some people just don't have limits...and that's disturbing to me. I know the furry community and the internet in general is a bottomless hovel for everyone to post their poop fetishes on, but jesus fucking christ guys, show a BIT of restraint, someone is gonna see that someday and YOU are gonna have to answer for it!
That said, I cannot STAND it when people draw curvy or full figured characters, with thin shoulders, a thin abdomen, and RIDICULOUSLY wide hips. It bothers me a lot, mainly because when I learned to draw, the most basic rule I learned about females in particular, is that you don't draw them with their hips wider than their shoulders (except on rare, very disturbing situations...ones that I refuse to emulate).

Because apparently in my city, while the actual population of Vegas and Henderson combined stretches into 2.5 million, searching for ANY female brings me 7...exactly SEVEN. Results...
Seven. Out of 2 million possible.
AND THEN. Those fuckers have the gall to tell me that I have to pay money...around 13 a month just for a silver membership, just to talk to or respond to messages. And this is ANY message. The dolts who actually pay for this crap can speak to me, but I can't speak to them.

More than just an Art Block
Posted 12 years agoWith the fact that I am currently more alone than a gnat on the side of Pluto...my attempts to actually post new content are just coming up short...and I don't mean just coming up short as in postable but not quite up to par, I mean not good enough for me to even bear to look at this shit. I've tried so many times to just...do something and every time it just seems to get worse and worse.
I keep getting more and more frustrated, I feel like it's just not possible anymore...like I've literally lost the will to even draw anymore...I don't even see the point of it. I really want to, but to what end...? I mean really what's the point...
The longer I keep writing this post the more it makes me realize that I'm reeling from severe emotional turmoil, it's just affecting everything...including my drawings apparently. Well fuck it all my drawings ever did was get me into trouble anyway...
Someone help...?
I keep getting more and more frustrated, I feel like it's just not possible anymore...like I've literally lost the will to even draw anymore...I don't even see the point of it. I really want to, but to what end...? I mean really what's the point...

Posted 12 years agoMy dad, the one person I could always count on to make sure I would be okay in life, is no longer with us...he went out peacefully, and I'm going to do everything I can to carry on his legacy...whatever follows is all gonna be posted from my heart...but from this day forward I think my life is going to take a much different direction...I'm literally all on my own now...wish me luck everyone.

Posted 12 years agoIf people in my life can't accept the fact that I'm a fur who is a bit experimental, friendly, and a bit of a femboy when it comes to my art then frankly they don't have to be in my life. I've had enough with dealing with jealous children and I've had enough of being told what I can and can't draw. Yea we all have to grow up at some point but frankly I draw because it's my hobby...not my lifestyle.
My life involves fixing what's broken, making money and paying the bills, everything else is video games and husky's taking it up the rear and dangit I'm happy with it!
Accept and love me for me and I shall do the same for you all...thanks for sticking around those of you who did, I'll be sure to post much more content as soon as I can, however requests beyond the few that I have standing will be closed...I'm just not a request person, so if I draw anything other than my own characters, it's because I asked to draw that which belongs to you for myself. Plain and simple.

Posted 12 years agoThese "rules" of the internet...what are they? Are they a sort of Constitution written by nerds on 4chan? Are they more like ambiguous laws, like the laws of gravity and time? Do they entail what will happen, what could happen...or are they there to dictate how we're supposed to act?
Some of the rules I can agree with in a sense of "yea that's always gonna happen" and that's fine...like R34 or R63. I do recall reading a few that did bother me though, as they seemed a bit more...regulatory. Something I can't abide by. As far as I'm concerned, my rules are, I don't bother you, you don't bother me. I try to keep the same conduct on here as I would in the real world.
Those who felt that a need for "rules" of the internet to be created obviously come in the forms of anti-socials and wannabes. Personally, I use the internet as an entertainment medium...not a lifestyle. Your rules, ambiguous or not, I don't choose to follow them. And if I break them, follow them, whatever, I personally don't really care.
I'm not here to follow more rules, I get enough of that from the real world, my job, and society. I'm here to watch videos of cats, talk to friends, play video games and post pictures. If you REALLY feel the need to tell me that I'm breaking the rules, honestly I think your talents would be better suited somewhere else...like maybe at a job of your own you slacker...

Bit of a hiatus...
Posted 12 years ago...if it isn't already apparent, I haven't posted much art that is "drawn" per se. Mainly because of all the bullshit that has been going on in my life, so I've more or less lost a bit of that want to even...draw if I'm honest. I haven't forgotten about anyone so you don't need to remind me what I owe all of you...just please be patient alright? I've got a job and my own personal bullshit to worry about, frankly a pretty picture made on the computer is the least of my worries right now...

Respect and Books
Posted 12 years agoAlright so hear me out...I've recieved some shit in the past of about "disrespect to the Holy Bible". As in you're not supposed to do anything to it, such as burn it, shred it, run over it with a truck etc... Honestly, what's the point of paying respect to such a book? First of all...it's an inanimate object...it's a book...plus the religious have burned MANY books in the years humanity has been around. Am I missing something? Is there some kind of unwritten rule that says I can't deface a bible in any way shape or form, I'm supposed to just respect it despite the fact it's a book of lies, slavery, rape and a lot of fairy tales?
I'll put it to you this way...I'm a big fan of science, I live by it...would I be offended if you burned a science textbook? No. Would I be offended if you threw a book by Steven Hawking off of a cliff. Hardly. Would I honestly care if you were to sit there and take a periodic table of elements, roll it up and stuff weed into it, smoke it and then offer me some? Pass the joint man.
Honestly, I don't really get this apologist attitude, I don't get why people would get offended if I set a Bible, a Science Textbook, or fucking Huckleberry Finn on fire. It's a book! I could care less if it's your holy testament, if you were a stronger person you'd be able to take a bit of a statement. I'd gladly burn bibles because I don't like what they stand for. I don't like the fact that people prefer to take advice and live by them, because like it or not the Bible is not the greatest book to put your life behind.
You want to get offended that I'd be happy to burn a Bible, even if it wasn't to make a statement against it, be my guest, there's the door. Don't let your butthurt attitude hit you on your way out.
