I have already cancelled my Nitro for this month, and if these changes go through I may have to cancel my account entirely. Because from my understanding you will be heavily restricted to even VC if you don't follow with verification process. And I am NOT giving Discord my information. Not only has Discord only (within the last 6 months) have a data breach where a hacker was able to acquire people's of all ages IDs and credit cards via Discord, but I refuse to normalize government/corporate surveillance with them using "Child Safety" has a coverup for them to invade my privacy and my freedom. It is a joke to think that it is Discord's responsibility to protect children and not their own parents. Nobody should ever believe this and nobody should ever support having their privacy invaded/leaked.

On top of all this I really don't know what I plan to do to keep in touch with friends if I lose my Discord, because for me and with online friends. It is a social platform for me to keep in touch with others, which I already struggle to make friends in general because to be blunt I am just kinda shy lol. But with discord out of the picture I have no way to explore servers/meet new people. And this will even cut off contact I have with people who play games on other platforms like Xbox. This is a bit depressing and demoralizing for me because I have been trying to be better about reaching out to people and making friends in stead of being a loner.

So this past year, I've had multiple artists just stop sending updates for commissions I've paid for. It's not just 1 or 2, it's more like 4+. 1 I would say is still responsive. But for the most part, almost all of these artists are nonresponsive(One is responsive when I DM them but I haven't any updates in about 5 months of waiting, last time I DM'd them they said a few days and weeks later I haven't heard anything.) And it's hurting my trust to commission artists again at all within this fandom. All but 1 artist are clearly active on social media whether it's telegram/twitter/FA. I am turning from concerned to frustrated/angry. I feel like I should avoid lashing out to these artists, but I am not giving away charity and I am not rich. So when I have so many artists I have commissioned, I have no idea what I am supposed to do? I don't think I can get my money back? And I am starting to feel like I am not going to get any promised arts that I have paid for. Over the span of the past year I maybe comished $600-$700 or so in arts and about 11 commissions, and only 6/11 have been completed.

I would like to think I am reasonably patient. But when I am waiting like 5 months for a sketch with no actual proof that anything has been drawn, and see the same artists taking in more commissions/YCH then I feel like there's an issue. Would I be wrong to call these artists out publicly? Because quite frankly I understand people have things going on in their lives, but at least talk to me and keep me updated or something? I am not mad because art is taking a long time, I am mad because I like I am being ignored by multiple artists while they are clearly active and taking in more work.

Sorry for the rant, but I seriously am not sure how to handle this situation. And I am not exaggerating when I say these artists literally stop responding:

And this is only couple examples. I have even more from the past that fled from finishing commissions which total to 7. Maybe I am being unreasonable. But I just don't understand how something like sketch takes 5 months to complete/or people just stop responding entirely.

Anyone in grouping up in VRC sometime? Still figuring out things to do on it. But mostly thinking mini games and hanging out to chat. I do enjoy just chilling and making friends lol.

Tell me about your first furry convention, and are you going to BLFC?

I have been REALLY itching to get back into VRC. I have a base for a Sergal model(EDIT: I rsally wanna use this base and just have textures done, not have an entire new model made), and a new reference for my Sergal. Do any of you guys know some good artists that can get me a new one done, and potentially help rigging it up. Because I have never done anything with VR models. I would gladly learn if I have to. But mostly I just want a quality model done for my Sergal.

Also I know I might've already asked this in the past, I can't remember. Sorry if this is the case haha. I have really been talking with others about playing again. But I have to buy me a new base station and get a new model done since I no longer have access to one.

Lately I've been running into this issue where my payments wont go through on these payment sites. And it's becoming a headache paying for commissions because of it. Does anyone have this issue and a solution for it? Because I never know what to tell artists what I can do to fix it. Luckily I've been able to do middleman one time, and the other 2 times the artist had some different payment site I've never heard of and seems sketchy half of the time.

So recently I found out that I will be going to BLFC in 2025, we will be taking a long train ride there and back. This will be my first furry convention in over 8-9 years of being in the fandom! I am so excited even though it’s so far away!!

I have never really done one. But I thought about doing some sort of giveaway maybe at 1,500 watchers, or doing something interesting. Originally I was thinking maybe a dual character piece with a character of your choice that I have. But I am also interested on hearing neat ideas for raffles. BF ended up getting a VR model for himself set up. I have no modeling experience and really dunno how to set that stuff up lol. I assume that you can comish VR model's? If so do you have recommendations? Preferably someone who can work on Sergals.

I know I've been pretty much dead these days in the fandom. I'm working a lot and money is tight. I need to catch up on uploads and actually start getting stuff again. I love seeing art that everyone posts on here but I haven't been quite motivated to get stuff myself like I used to. Prices are insane for artists on here these days, and I am short on ideas on what to get. Half the time I just wing it with random ideas lol.

I've been looking around for an artist who can do custom animations for sometime. I'm not very good at finding artists that I do not know about. But I've been looking for an artist who could do a custom animated icon idea that I've had for sometime. But I have 0 idea on who's out there that's capable.
Would anyone know an artist who's able to do one? I see see animators here and there but they usually are not open for commissions.

Like nothing is really interesting. I haven't been interested in games, furry content, shows/animes. I come home from work everyday and just am not motivated to really do anything.
I'm not sad or miserable or anything just feeling kinda devoid of any interest lol. I don't really try to reach out to other people or throw out ideas of stuff we could do. I have stuff I'd be kinda interested in doing with people like certain games but no one really likes the games I play. Even when it comes to my bf I can't find stuff for us to do because I don't really have much interest in anything so I feel like I waste a lot of people's time because I can't come up with something. Whether it's family or friends. I just am kinda "idk" about everything.
