Finally getting settled into the new home! Makes me so happy to finally have a house with the Husband! I can definitely tell I have been sleeping better at night and just been in a better mood in general. I really do think being in our apartment was doing a number on my health because I was stressed from all the noise around us and being cramped. It's nice to have freedom from being in a small apartment and the noise that went with it.

Anyway once we get fully settled in I want to start doing some commissions and your character here stuff maybe even some adoptables to earn some money for saving! Because good news I paid off all my credit card debt! so YAY! [and I definitely want to make sure not to get into it again] I'm not hurting for money yet but I'm finally able to save and making a little more wouldn't hurt because there is a lot more stuff I would like to buy for the house that pretty much costs over $100 so I have to save up and wait. ITS SO EXCITING!!!! =)

I definitely can't wait to start drawing again for my fans!

So it's been a week since the Husband  transporter and I fully moved into our FIRST HOUSE together. I'm so happy! It's been heaven to have peace and quiet and not have the noise all around us. I love that part the most! and of course the extra room to move around! Only thing is after moving all last week I'm exhausted and still exhausted after getting plenty of sleep. I'm not sure if I'm low on iron or what. Getting all that exercise from moving last week I was fine, this week I'm crashing pretty much everyday after work because we have been relaxing. I don't know I probably should get it checked out or I just need to exercise everyday to have more energy again.

Anyway we still have unpacking and organizing to do which I feel like is going to take a month. lol! But we'll eventually get around to all of it. Hoping to have Friends and Family come over for a Housewarming party in the summer =)

Also we will hopefully be getting a "fuzzy" child next year! [A german shepherd!] =)

So  transporter and I officially moved in the House on May7th! 2016!! We are definitely both so sore and exhausted from all the moving. My arms are beat up froms boxes! scratches and bruises plus both big toes I have stubbed =(. But now we just have to find stuff and organize it. Have Master Bathroom done. Master bedroom still working on. Living room, Kitchen, and Basement still needs worked on. Other than that IM SO HAPPY TO HAVE PEACE AND QUIET NOW! OMG! It's heaven. AND NO MORE doing 10 loads of laundry anymore either! OH GOD ITS NICE. Only thing that we found out is our dishwasher seal is busted so thats leaking and a wine fridge the sellers left doesn't work. So thats covered under our home warranty and hoping to get fixed. If not we will most likely being using our apartments security deposit refund to buy a new dishwasher.

Some stuff we still need to grab from apartment but our lease isn't up till end of June there so we have plenty of time to go back and clean it and grab stuff we left.

Just YAY! Definitely have been sleeping very good the past week!

YAY! The Husband and I finally got approved for our House loan! so we should be able to close on May 1st and move in the beginning of MAY!! we couldn't be any more excited! it'll be so nice to finally get out of this cramped ass apartment. I will be glad to finally have more room to be creative as well! So I will be excited to finally be able to work on more projects. Being in an apartment makes it very hard to be creative or doing anything else besides drawing.

So if anyone hasn't checked out my journals the Husband and I finally were in the market to buy a house and we just got our offer accepted on a house we loved Thursday night! [took us about 3-4 weeks which I'm shocked I thought it would take longer to find a house and get accepted) now the fun part of waiting for the inspection to come out ok and the appraisal!!!! Can't wait to find out when we get to move in! I'm going to be SO COMPLETELY HAPPY to get out of this cramped, noisy, and smelly apartment! We are going to have so much more room! I will feel more comfortable arting!!!!! =) and possibly new projects to start too! I can't wait to finally be able to display all my anime figures as well! but it'll be awhile before I can have a chance to buy those detolf glass cabinets from Ikea that I like. I will eventually be able to put my little art studio in one of the bedrooms too but as for now our plan is to do the basement for our computer room (which is finished!) until we can figure out how to run an internet line upstairs.

Anyway with this I'm hoping to really get back into doing commissions again jso I can use the extra money for house projects or to just save. I'm so proud of myself to finally get my credit card paid off soon! =) Instead of paying the payment now I can save a good chunk of money a month now to put towards something later on or just keep. I want to have something when I eventually retire. I do have a 401k started which will definitely help me later on in life.

The Husband  transporter and I are very excited! now to hope the inspection and everything turns out ok! but what's funny we put our offer in this morning got counter offered from some other person we ended up going listing price then after that someone put an offer in higher than ours so we thought we were going to lose it and backed out. But just a few minutes ago our Realtor just told us they ended up accepting our offer!! I was feeling so down! but this brightened up my night for sure! WE ARE SOON TO BE HOMEOWNERS!! AHHHH!!!!!

Now we are just really hoping we can sign the paperwork and everything before anyone else puts an offer on it. I will be one very sad wife if that happens! so fingers crossed!!!!!!!! =3

Well might have found a house we both like we are just weary on the price range we are checking out things first before putting an offer on it. If appliances aren't included I would haggle the price down since we would have to purchase them if they aren't leaving them. So anyway I'm excited! I really do hope we can find something but if not we will have to sign some kind of lease again here soon. We did have an option [ that could have saved us so much money and found something really nice later in life] but that option went out the window so now we have to look into houses so we can get out of the apartment. Like I said before its getting too cramped in this small apartment. Running out of room for things and I just don't feel inspired or motivated to work on art. I can broaden my creativity if I had more room! plus the rent just keeps going up we still have a hole in one of our ceilings in one of our bathrooms. Had to fix a leak in a pipe for the apartment above us around Christmas of 2014 so they had to rip up the ceiling and never fixed the ceiling. Renting is such a waste of money. But its hard! it sucks when we are stuck having to rent! But well if we can figure things out with this house we just looked at it its probably a front runner. I hope so! the sooner we can get out of the apartment the better. We can get away from being cramped, no more annoying non stop barking dogs, no more smoke smell coming from ceilings and hallway, no more pounding foot steps of children above us. The joy it would be to have peace and quiet!

Plus if we do get this house I actually might have to start opening up for commissions again just so I can make some extra money on the side to save up. Because I know two home purchases already I would like to do and that would be a whole new bedroom set [Frame, dresser, nightstands, etc] and a new mattress. Best thing though I will be credit card debt free soon! still have school loans and car loan but eh what can you do. They are always going to be there nothing I can really do about them unless I won the lottery to pay them off.

This is such a big chapter in  transporter and I's life. Just hoping for good things!

Still no luck in finding the one yet! well there is one they just wanted too much for it and out of our price range and needs new windows but I absolutely loved it! I'm very sad that we can't afford it....it fit so well. So dreams are crushed! it had so much potential. I know there just has to be something out there that we both can agree on.........

Well the Husband and I are just now looking for houses but I can't wait to finally get a house soon! and get out of this small cramped apartment! it'll be soooo nice! and we can have peace and quiet finally [no constant barking dogs] and no strange smells coming from the hallway!!! =) This makes me so excited and I know it'll be stressful and a big financial decision but it'll make us both happy in the long run!!!!

Well the Husband and I put together our income and budgeted our monthly bills out that we possibly could afford a house. [Our lease is coming up to renew again in May...which is very soon] So we don't know what the plan is yet I would be very excited to finally getting out of this cramped, smelly [cigarette smoke coming through vents and stuff], noisy [dogs barking constantly] apartment building. But the only thing I'm worried about is something major happening and I can't help or we lose the house. Because buying a house is a big major step! it'll also put me behind on paying off my school loans. But I guess I shouldn't worry about them as much as I am I just hate having them. There is just so much to worry about. I probably shouldn't worry if I needed extra money I could open for commissions again if I had to. Which I do want to get back into doing just so I can have some extra spending money or save. Well we will see. I don't know how family will handle it or even give us any support...always have to think about what ifs and stuff which discourages me of even trying.

Anyway wish us luck. I keep telling the Husband we should go to the bank first to see how much of a loan we could get without applying before even looking or anyone else helping to look....I really want to stay below $180k for a house.

By looking at houses that the Husband and I can't afford and looking at cool minimalist computer offices for a home! ack the things I would do!!!!! Its so frustrating =(

I don't know how much longer we will have to be stuck in this small apartment. Its getting too cramped with all my stuff. We are literally running out of room to put things. We don't have any storage areas for our apartment. So yeah...I'm just torturing myself looking at pretty houses that we just can't afford at this time. =(

Valetine's day weekend was great. It might have not been the most romantic weekend but I had fun hanging out with family and enjoying the ice festival in town Saturday night even when it was below zero outside! froze my poor face, hands, and feet! so of course didn't stay out too long. I always love seeing the ice carvings though they are so awesome!

On another note I'm so excited that I will soon have a credit card paid off!!! with the Husband and I's tax refund! It'll finally be nice to save a good chunk of money now not having to pay on it! I of course still have school loans to worry about but I have at least my biggest one on income based right now so I'm not paying so much a month. Hopefully we will be able to get a good chunk to save up for a house! I want out of this apartment so bad running out of room badly! and it just makes me frustrated and stressed out to live in such a cluttered mess. At least in a house we can store stuff in the basement or in storage room if we find one that has one of those. So yeah will be saving up for that the most basically.

Anyway I was thinking of possibly doing some $5 quick sketches sometime just to warm up and get back into drawing its been awhile and I really do miss being active on here. I will most likely limit it to probably 5 or 10 people because having a full time job and having other things to do is tough for me to always get around to drawing. I will post another journal sometime to let my watches know! =)

Hello everyone!

It's been awhile! just wanted to let my followers know that everything on my end has been going great! Loving life, my job, and my loving Husband! Transporter. Going on 3 months now! wooo! it still feels exactly the same before we made it official! lol but that would be because we have been together so long and have lived together for 2-3 years. =) In other news my work just celebrated their 1 year anniversary! it was a fun day. Me and my fellow co-workers had to walk around and take pictures of stuff going on. So our afternoon was kind of spent doing that instead of drawing anything. But that's ok even at work I don't always want to spend the whole day drawing. I am also an Aunt to a 2nd niece now! [my sister on the other hand I don't even want to get into that big all mess] Let's just say that I feel really sorry for my nieces in the situation they will be in.....because my sister makes horrible mistakes and has F***d up her life for the rest of her life with her bad decisions and attitude.

Anyway I keep saying I want to do new art and upload it here but that never happens! lol I want to so bad though I just need to get back into the groove of drawing again. I think what it is I spend mostly all day drawing at my job that when I come home I don't feel like drawing. I do miss it a lot I also miss making some extra money. It's amazing even when you do get a job making more money you still come to find that you should still be making more than you are. Because most of my money has been going towards paying off a credit card that I had racked up since I graduated college. I'm hoping to get that paid off in the next year or so and to keep it at $0 for awhile. Then to tackle all the school loan debt hooray! I hate having school loan debt so much its really hampering us down for me to help get a house.

Anyway other than that nothing else has been new. Try to hang out with friends once in awhile but everyone always seems to be so busy with their own lives. I hang out more with my Husband's friends than my own because a few of them only live like 15 minutes away. Work/life balance is usually hard sometimes in my opinion.

I hope everyone else had a great Thanksgiving holiday as well! can't wait till Christmas! =3

So excited and can't wait for everything to be over! I have been so tired all week even when I have been getting enough sleep. So I can't wait to sleep in Sunday morning!!! Everything at the last minute has been hectic especially trying to get umbrellas because it's supposed to rain on our wedding day! and we have an outside ceremony so boo weather! you suck!! I'm still hoping for a perfect day though!

AH! so close now!! FINALLY after 9 years! Praying for perfect weather though! the forecast for now doesn't look so great but weather can change. I'm going to start doing the sun dance. lol.

Anyway I'm excited and glad to get it done and over with! =) Can't wait to have some relaxing time.
